Chapter 60: Sprit Invasion Part 4

Chapter 60: Sprit Invasion Part 4

Just when he was getting ready to take down the third one, a gigantic clay descended from the sky.

Its leg was so big that it created a nearly twenty-meter crater upon landing.

"Haaa! That was close."

As Tyler appeared in the place of a small rock, he took a deep breath.

But he wasn’t safe yet.

As another giant clay monster came down with its body. This time, its body was nearly two hundred meters long.

Even for Tyler, it was a distance he couldn’t teleport out of.

Unless he used the portal.

[Ninth Skill- Portal]

Without much hesitation, he created a portal underneath his feet and sank into it. He reappeared several hundred meters away from the claw monster.

But it seemed like that clay spirit was waiting for him.

When he appeared, two claw monsters dashed towards him and raised their paws. Seeing this, Tyler prepared himself to block those claws.

But when they got close, his senses started firing like crazy.

Without any choice in his mind, he used Shambles with the nearest rock.

Boom!

The next moment, both of those claw monsters exploded like crazy.

But that hadn’t ended there.

Several small clay ants started coming towards him. Each of these ants could explode.

And when he saw those, Tyler immediately ran away.

But he suddenly paused.

He didn’t know why, but this felt incredibly similar, like something he had seen before.

He didn’t remember it, but he couldn’t forget it either.

’Wait, lightning! Clay! I remember that.’

His eyes widened as he remembered it and covered himself with lightning. At the same time, a small layer of dark energy appeared underneath the lightning.

Then, he dashed towards those ants.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Those ants exploded when they were hit by the lightning arcs.

Seeing this, the spirit tilted its head in confusion.

It had seen Tyler’s fighting style. Tyler should’ve used his Space Element to run, but he used lightning?

This didn’t make sense. He should know those ants would explode.

He had even prepared a large exploding clay towards the direction where Tyler was heading.

But Tyler didn’t run there. Instead, he ran towards those ants, which wasn’t a problem either.

Those explosions were quite powerful. Even if it couldn’t kill him, it could at least injure him.

Whoosh!

The next moment, it sensed a powerful energy coming its way.

It tried going away using its flying clay bird, but the lightning bolt tore through its clay bird, and the hand covered in lightning pierced its chest.

The spirit couldn’t understand why Tyler wasn’t injured.

If he were injured, he could’ve at least slowed down.

Splash!

The next moment, its body exploded, and this spirit died as well.

"Thank god I didn’t think Clay would be weak against lightning. Of course, lightning can destroy clay, but there is no such weakness."

Tyler landed on the ground and removed his lightning and dark armor. He was panting hard, but he wasn’t injured at all.

Even his face was covered in the armor.

"But luckily, I was able to think of this strategy; otherwise, I would’ve run out of Aura before it."

"Sure enough, even distractions can only be used once. The higher these monsters and spirits go, the more cunning and thoughtful they become."

"This spirit was able to figure out my space element."

He muttered as his eyes sharpened.

"That means I can’t carelessly use my Spatial Control in my next battle. I need to focus on my first ability."

Just when he thought about it, he noticed three of the shadow totems coming his way.

Although they weren’t as durable as real Alex, Fang, and Moko, they were still powerful helpers in this battle.

He turned his eyes towards the Eternal Forest, where all he could see was explosions and shockwaves.

"Let’s go! We need to kill Country Level Spirits."

Without much hesitation, he rushed towards the other battle on top of Fang. Moko and Alex also rode him as they flew towards that battle.

They were hundreds of kilometers away from them.

Before, Tyler was able to completely consume his Aura to simply portal Misaka away.

Now that he was going towards this battle, he felt a bit frightened. After all, he was stepping into something that was way beyond his level.

But he couldn’t back down. His city would only be safe if Misaka were alive. Without her, it would be impossible.

There was some good news.

With two of his abilities and three summons, he had some confidence in his strength.

But as soon as he approached the battlefield, he was stunned by the level of destruction they were causing.

Just Misaka alone was throwing massive mountain-sized rocks around the battlefield, suppressing her enemies with heavy gravity and even using their powers against them.

She was going all out, and those spirits weren’t taking it easy either. Their combined power was enough to hold back, slowly exhausting her Aura Reserve.

If she ran out of Aura, there was an easy chance that she would die.

In this kind of battle, he wouldn’t be able to participate unless he could sneak his way through.

At this moment, an idea came to his mind. He summoned his Shadow Armor and opened the portal in front of the plant spirit.

He jumped into the portal and came out of the other side, but the plant spirit sensed his portal before he even came out and wrapped his body with its branches.

Although stuck, Tyler didn’t care. He knew even if he used Shambles, the plant spirit would still be able to react.

He used the portal for a reason because he used the energy of one portal to confuse the plant spirit about another portal opened behind it.

[First Skill- Shadow Flames]

[Dark Sun Explosion]

Even in his worst situation, the plant spirit would’ve never expected the human to simply explode with him.

With their bodies tied and the blue flames burning out like crazy, the plant spirit desperately tried to move away, even removing the branches around his body.

When it tried to move, the flames suddenly subsided, which relaxed its guard, only for it to feel the sharp heat near its stomach.

The flames hadn’t subsided; they had only shrunk rapidly under Tyler’s command to the point where it was nothing more than a micro sun.

And the moment it realized that, it tried to move, but the micro sun released a grand blue light before exploding with the sheer temperature reaching the surface of the sun.

Boom!
