Chapter 461 Lighting the fire, then responsible for extinguishing it (Part 1)

Le Tong leaned in and brushed a kiss on his lips, laughing playfully."Hey handsome, why don’t you just give in to me, huh?"

Le Tong was in a good mood, openly flirting with Ji Rui.

Little did she know, men aren’t creatures to be teased lightly, especially not when the one doing the teasing is the very woman he’s been longing to dominate, yet has always held back from offending due to restraint.

Ji Rui’s initially stunned, emerald eyes suddenly narrowed, pupils contracting sharply, as they emitted a dangerously fierce light, akin to a predator readying to strike its prey.

Ji Rui’s lips curled into a smirk, he lifted his hand to grab hers that was holding his chin, the other long arm wrapped around her waist. His handsome, tilted face along with his dark eyes unintentionally softening into an enticing smile had Le Tong’s heart pounding out of rhythm.

Ji Rui smirked, leaned over and kissed the corner of her lips, asking in a slightly husky voice, "Where to?"

The corner of her lips, kissed and tingling, left Le Tong’s mind blank for an instant, her dark eyes magnetically drawn to Ji Rui.

"Huh?"

The amusement in Ji Rui’s eyes deepened, his lips curved into an attractive arc, and before Le Tong could react, he stood up abruptly.

The suddenly towering figure cast a huge shadow over Le Tong, making her panic briefly, sensing danger nearing.

Her body leaned back, trying to escape Ji Rui’s one-armed restraint, but the hand around her waist was like an ancient vine tightly coiling around a tree trunk, holding her body firmly in place.

If at this moment she still didn’t understand what the man’s gleaming eyes and predatory stance represented, then she wasn’t just slow, she was foolish!

Le Tong was left speechless, though she had initiated the teasing, she was now being bullied miserably and felt aggrieved.

So, biting her lip she glared at him fiercely, "You’re playing nonsense!"

Ji Rui nudged her forehead with his, raising his lips with a deeply meaningful smile in his eyes.

"Girl, you have to be responsible. If you lit the fire, you have to put it out!"
