Chapter 471: Fusion vs. Fusion (Part 1)

"They actually fused in the end."

"Tsk tsk tsk… Now this is going to be a show!"

The air was thick with tension as all eyes locked on Vekumi, who had just appeared on the arena after the fusion.

Just like how Yuujin and the others remembered her, Vekumi was tall, valiant, and striking. Her appearance bore a resemblance to both Gokumi and Vegea, but was distinctly different from either of them.

In addition, everyone could clearly sense the prideful and icy aura radiating from her.

Though Vekumi was simply standing there, no one dared to overlook her presence—she was like a sovereign queen, aloof and inviolable!

"She's amazing! That Gokumi and Vegea actually fused too!"

"Mhm! So amazing!"

Inside the palace, the two innocent-looking Grand Zenos stared wide-eyed at Vekumi, full of curiosity.

And under everyone's gaze, Vekumi slightly lifted her jade-like chin and finally opened her eyes slowly.

In the very next moment—

A burst of ki exploded forth, lightning crackled—Vekumi instantly transformed into her Super Saiyan 4 Burst form!

Winds howled, sand flew, and the entire Null Realm trembled violently.

Centered around Vekumi, a terrifying wave of energy expanded outward like rippling circles in the void. Even the audience stands near the arena were thrown into chaos.

Unlike Gogeta's Super Saiyan Blue form, both the gods and the remaining contestants could clearly sense Vekumi's overwhelming strength. Her vast and terrifying aura was like a blazing sun, radiating intense heat and pressure, suffocating and melting all who approached.

Everyone had known that a warrior born from Gokumi and Vegea's fusion would be powerful—but this? This wasn't just power—it was terrifying!!!

"That idiot... Let's see how he gets out of this one!"

Beerus clenched his fists tightly, both anxious and furious.

He could've simply knocked Gokumi and Vegea off the ring, but no—Gogeta just had to act all arrogant and give them the chance to fuse. Now they had this terrifying monster to deal with!

"So this is the fusion of our two divine queens, huh? What a terrifying creature."

With an excited glint in her eye, Sharuru licked her lips, her face filled with wild anticipation.

"Ah, she's Vekumi—Gokumi and Vegea's fusion! She was the one who helped us defeat Golden Cell's other counterpart!"

Chi-Chi exclaimed excitedly from the sidelines.

Back then, when Gokumi and Vegea could only transform into Super Saiyan 2, their fused form Vekumi had effortlessly crushed the powerful Golden Cell. Now that both had advanced to Super Saiyan 4, it was only natural that their fusion, Vekumi, had grown exponentially stronger as well.

Just judging from her aura alone, Vekumi was now thousands of times more powerful than before!

Under everyone's gaze, the transformed Vekumi finally began to suppress her energy. Her eyes, sharp as lightning, swept across the entire arena.

Yuujin smiled and gave her a small wave, but Vekumi merely let out a cold snort and quickly looked away.

Finally, she turned her icy gaze toward the opponent before her—Gogeta.

"So... you're the one who called me out?"

"Indeed, it was my idea to have Gokumi and Vegea fuse."

"My name is Gogeta. I too am a fusion warrior. I hope we get along."

"Don't worry. I'll 'get along' with you real well—enough to make you regret ever calling me out."

Vekumi smirked coldly in response to Gogeta's introduction.

Though they were both fusion warriors, Gogeta's personality leaned more toward Goku's, while Vekumi's was clearly dominated by Vegea's.

And inheriting Vegea's mindset, Vekumi thoroughly despised this Gogeta before her.

Of course, it was obvious she hated him, but Gogeta didn't really care. He just wanted to fight strong opponents. Whether Vekumi liked him or not didn't matter—as long as she was strong enough, that was all he needed.

The two looked like they were about to exchange more words—when suddenly, a loud rumble erupted, and the Pillar of Time at the far end of the arena lowered again.

As the Tournament of Power progressed, the Pillar of Time would descend segment by segment. Now, only one final section remained above the arena.

"I now announce: there are only 5 minutes left in the Tournament of Power."

Smiling from atop his floating platform, the Grand Priest's voice echoed throughout the entire arena.

The crowd buzzed in whispers, a restless tension spreading.

The final, peak showdown—yet only 5 minutes remained?

No matter how powerful Gogeta was, could he really defeat Vekumi, or even Yuujin, in such a short time?

Thinking that, many gods and contestants from other universes felt a mix of regret and a small sense of schadenfreude.

The members of Universe 7, naturally, were on edge—and Beerus looked especially grim.

From any angle, the current situation was extremely unfavorable for them!

Damn it! If only Gogeta had listened to his orders, none of this would have happened!

Meanwhile, back on the arena—

"Only 5 minutes left, huh? Looks like time really is tight."

With a sigh, Gogeta muttered, then seemed to come to a decision:

"3 minutes. Our fight must end in 3 minutes. I'll use the remaining 2 minutes to battle Yuujin."

He raised three fingers as he spoke.

An overwhelming aura shot skyward, and Vekumi instantly became even colder.

"You're saying you'll defeat me in 3 minutes?"

"Then I'll only need 1 minute—1 minute to finish you off!"

Feeling more insulted and underestimated than ever before, Vekumi erupted in power, transforming into a bolt of lightning as she charged toward Gogeta.

Eyes glued to every moment on the arena, everyone's hearts echoed the same thought:

It's begun!!!

Fast! Vekumi's speed was as fast as light itself!

The void stretched behind her, trailing long afterimages. Even the solid arena surface rippled like water, pushed aside by her incredible force!

In nearly no time at all, she had already appeared before Gogeta, grabbed his forehead, and slammed him hard into the ground. The two of them smashed through chunks of reinforced arena steel as they barreled toward the arena's edge.

This bastard dared to underestimate her?! She didn't even need 1 minute—this single attack would knock him out of the ring!

"Hehehe… Incredible power and speed."

"But at this level, you still can't beat me!"

Letting Vekumi drive him across the arena, Gogeta chuckled.

Just as they were about to reach the edge, Gogeta suddenly erupted in energy, launching Vekumi skyward with a kick. He then spun using one hand on the ground and narrowly landed back on the stage.

It all happened in a flash—and the entire arena exploded in a chorus of astonishment.

Forget pulling off a reversal like Gogeta—if anyone else had been in his place, they probably wouldn't have even had time to react before being knocked out by Vekumi!

As expected from two ferocious fusion warriors—this battle was going to be well worth watching!

"Gogeta vs. Vekumi. Fusion vs. fusion."

"Well then... let our battle begin!"

With a confident grin, Gogeta looked toward the airborne Vekumi.

Their auras clashed, and without any further words, both exploded forward, racing at each other like lightning—!
