This Is Definitely Not Dragon Ball!!

Chapter 470: Vekumi Appears

Chapter 470: Vekumi Appears

To everyone's shock, Gogeta actually proposed that Gokumi and Vegea fuse as well.

Unsurprisingly, the entire arena erupted in an uproar!

"He—he actually told those two women to fuse too!"

"Indeed, if it's that Gokumi and Vegea, they should be able to create a tremendously powerful warrior through fusion as well."

"Hohoho, this Tournament of Power is becoming more and more interesting!"

Not to mention the spectators—even Gokumi and Vegea themselves were utterly stunned.

"You... You're saying I should fuse with Vegea?" Gokumi asked dazedly.

"Yes. As you are now, you're completely no match for me. But if you fuse, you might actually be able to fight me," Gogeta replied.

"So how about it? Want to give it a try? If you fuse, I'll wait a bit longer. If not, I'll knock you both out of the ring right now."

Gogeta showed no concern whatsoever that Gokumi and Vegea might become powerful enough to trouble him after fusing. On the contrary, warriors like them sought out powerful opponents!

"Mmhm! Let's fuse, let's fuse! We want to fuse too!" Gokumi said excitedly, nodding rapidly before looking eagerly at Vegea beside her.

"Come on, Vegea! Let's fuse too, just like Goku and Vegeta did!"

"What kind of joke is this?!"

"I already told you before—I absolutely will never do that kind of thing with you again. Never!"

Unlike Gokumi's excitement, Vegea's cheeks turned uncharacteristically red as she roared with both embarrassment and frustration.

Back during the Android incident, Gokumi and Vegea had once fused to defeat the mighty Golden Cell. And at that time, Vegea did in fact declare she'd never do something like that again.

"But Vegea, what's the big deal? Don't you want to fight Gogeta again?"

"Just this once—just this one time, please fuse with me again!"

"No means no! Nothing you say will change that!"

Gokumi kept pleading, but Vegea firmly refused without hesitation.

"As expected of Vegea—she's just like our Vegeta, even in this regard."

"But I don't have time to wait for you two to bicker and make up your minds. I'll give you 10 seconds."

"If you haven't decided to fuse in 10 seconds, I'll knock you out of the ring and go fight Yuujin instead."

Gogeta raised one hand and began counting down—

"Ten... nine... eight..."

Seeing that they were only given ten seconds to decide, Gokumi panicked and immediately resumed her attempts to persuade Vegea:

"Vegea, stop being so stubborn and hurry up and fuse with me!"

"Vegea, are you really okay with losing like this?!"

"Vegea, you coward—I totally misjudged you!"

"Vegea! Vegea!!"

Desperate to get Vegea to fuse with her, Gokumi racked her brain, even resorting to clumsy reverse psychology.

It felt to Vegea like Kakarot had suddenly turned into tens of thousands of ducks, all quacking noisily right beside her ears—completely unbearable!

Finally, just as the countdown approached its end, Vegea could no longer take it and roared—

"SHUT UP!!!"

"V-Vegea?"

The atmosphere immediately fell silent. But when Vegea saw Gokumi still staring at her hopefully, her mouth twitched a few times.

This Kakarot... just how badly does she want to fuse with her!?

Still, Vegea understood. This idiot simply wanted to gain stronger power to fight Gogeta again.

Although it was incredibly annoying, truthfully, aside from the two of them fusing, there really was no other way left to oppose Gogeta—unless they forfeited and let Xeros take over.

But if it came to that, Vegea herself would feel deeply unwilling and unsatisfied.

"This is the last time. This time is absolutely the last!" Vegea ground her teeth as she said it, clearly struggling internally.

Hearing this, Gokumi's face instantly lit up with joy—

"That's great, Vegea!"

Vegea was always like this—giving Gokumi such a hard time, forcing her to go through so much trouble just to get her to agree to fuse.

But now it was fine. As long as they fused, they could definitely battle Gogeta once again!

"Hoh, looks like you've finally decided. Then stop wasting time and fuse already."

Stopping the countdown, Gogeta also looked quite eager.

"Hmph, spare me your commentary," Vegea snorted coldly in annoyance, then moved a few steps away from Gokumi to stand in position.

Just thinking about having to perform that Fusion Dance again made Vegea feel deeply embarrassed and awkward.

But Goku and Vegeta had already done it before—so what if she and Kakarot did the same?

With that thought, Vegea surprisingly felt much more at ease.

"What an interesting turn of events. I never expected Gokumi and Vegea to fuse too."

Even atop the Pillar of Time, Yuujin was visibly surprised, but his face wore a smile...

Android 18 and Dark 18 would occasionally fuse into Super 18, but ever since the Cell incident, Gokumi and Vegea hadn't fused again. Their fusion—Vekumi—had only appeared that one single time.

Now, all these years later, Yuujin found himself feeling rather nostalgic.

But while Yuujin and the others were excited and nostalgic, those in the spectator stands—like Beerus and company—were frustrated beyond belief.

"Hey! Gogeta! What the hell are you doing?!"

"Stop complicating things and just knock Son Gokumi and Vegea out of the ring already!"

They were this close—just one more attack would've ended it! But Gogeta had to go and offer his opponents the chance to fuse. Beerus was practically livid.

"Beerus, just sit back and watch."

"Even if they fuse, I'll still defeat them," Gogeta said confidently.

"B-B-Beerus?!" Krillin and the others all shuddered, and Beerus twitched, his mouth contorting with irritation.

This guy... he actually had the gall to address Beerus by name?!

"Come now, Lord Beerus. Please calm down."

"I think it's pretty clear by now—whether it was Kefla-san before or Gogeta-san now, all of these fused and combined warriors are extremely confident in their own power. It's natural that their personalities would lean a bit arrogant."

"It's frustrating, yes, but we're all powerless in this battle. All we can do now is place our faith in Gogeta-san."

Whis attempted to soothe the situation, though even he sighed helplessly.

The Tournament of Power had progressed to a point that no one present had ever anticipated.

"Damn it!!!"

Though burning with frustration, Beerus could only drop the matter.

As much as he hated to admit it, Whis was right. They were just spectators now—powerless to interfere. All they could do was believe in Gogeta and watch.

"Fu——sion!"

Before the eyes of all, Gokumi and Vegea finally performed the Fusion Dance, slowly merging into one.

Just like with Goku and Vegeta earlier, as a dazzling light flashed, both Gokumi and Vegea disappeared—and in their place stood a brand-new figure.

Looking at that form, Yuujin stood atop the Pillar of Time and couldn't help but smile.

"It's been such a long time... our strongest maiden—"

"Vekumi!!!"

To be continued...
