Chapter 173 - 25: Dragon Beast; Mixed Blood Classification; Audience with the Dragon King

"Kevin... Hewaier... Moskra... Cedric"

"Geller... Cedric"

"Said..."

"?"

"Yulia..."

Five green dragon hatchlings broke out of their shells in a short span of time.

However...

Four green dragon hatchlings that called out the True Name of the Dragon looked at the only one that didn’t, their gazes gradually turning disdainful.

As the firstborn green dragon, Kevin took the initiative, biting the neck of the Dragon Beast and throwing it out of the Dragon Nest amid its struggles.

"A degenerate beast doesn’t deserve to be with a great True Dragon." Kevin growled.

The other three little green dragons agreed to some extent, though the latest born, the little female dragon Yulia, hesitated a bit, glancing at the Dragon Beast that was flung out of the nest, its broken Dragon Scale and blood evoking a small sigh and a hint of reluctance.

But that was all; the little female dragon had no intention of reaching out to help.

Having embraced the Dragon’s Legacy, they were flooded and ’polluted’ by the nature and vast knowledge of the green dragon clan, alongside the evil rooted in their bloodlines. Their personalities were set almost from birth.

Born knowledgeable, they were naturally meant to dominate the sky and earth as powerful Evil Dragons.

Mercy and goodwill were swept to the corners of their minds and buried under the thick ’dust’ of evil knowledge.

"By the way, where’s mother?"

The second-born little green dragon Geller voiced an inquiry.

His words shifted the attention of the other three little green dragons away from the Dragon Beast.

"Probably out hunting and hasn’t returned yet?" guessed the third-born little green dragon Said.

Crunch crunch.

Geller, Said, and the only little female dragon Yulia turned their gaze toward the sound—they saw their green dragon elder brother Kevin eating the egg shells of the Dragon Beast.

"What are you looking at? I’m the elder brother; these egg shells are mine!" Kevin snarled at the siblings who glanced in his direction, guarding his food fiercely.

However, Kevin’s threat was evidently ineffective. Second brother Geller and third brother Said shared a look and directly pounced, beginning to fight their elder brother over the food.

The little female dragon Yulia took a glance at them before lowering her head to silently eat her own egg shells. As she ate, the thin dark green Dragon Scale on her body started to harden, and her soft wings gained strength for support.

Once Yulia finished eating, she watched her three brothers face off with bruised noses and swollen faces, none willing to back down. They continued swallowing the Dragon Beast’s egg shells, in a great Dragon Nest built from Magic Branches, amidst many Wind Element Magic Core, Crystal, Gemstones.

Yulia was attracted by these treasures, and greed arose in her heart; her instincts told her consuming these treasures, even just one, would considerably enhance her.

But she quickly snapped out of it.

Understanding that these were mother’s treasures, she realized that if her mother returned and found some missing, she might suffer anything from a mild beating to being thrown out of the nest. Daring to steal the Dragon Maiden’s treasures and be cast out, even the Five-Colored Dragon Mother couldn’t punish the Dragon Maiden.

This is why Kevin and the others preferred to compete over some broken egg shell fragments rather than touch the treasures. Treasures are important, but life is clearly more important.

Suddenly, Yulia’s gaze froze.

What did she see?!

In Yulia’s line of sight, the Dragon Beast was chewing on a Wind Element Crystal, the crisp crunching sound indicating it likely tasted delicious.

In the gradually quiet empty room, Kevin, Geller, and Said were also drawn to the increasingly conspicuous chewing sounds, following the gaze, their expressions turning dazed.

Oh, heavens! This Dragon Beast must be crazy!

Mother will surely kill it!

"It seems really tasty..." Third brother Said couldn’t help but let some thick drool dribble down, feeling somewhat tempted to propose,

"I think we could also sneak a piece... We could blame this foolish Dragon Beast anyway, right?"

"Your suggestion is quite foolish." Yulia mocked indifferently.

Said glared angrily at Yulia, "Yulia, you’re the youngest, you should respect your elder brother, otherwise I don’t mind teaching you a lesson!"

"Haha, fool."

Enraged, Said dashed forward a few steps, but having just fought with Kevin, his stamina was far spent, allowing Yulia at full strength to easily swat him aside.

Said still wanted to fight back, but Yulia unceremoniously slapped him again, the successive blows rendered Said’s newly born big head dizzy.

"Don’t cross me, fool." Yulia stated coldly before gracefully moving to the corner of the nest to rest quietly.

"Aren’t we managing this fool?" Kevin furrowed his dragon brow.

The "fool" referred to the Dragon Beast.

But Yulia had already closed her eyes to sleep, and Said, his mind dizzy, couldn’t react for a moment.

Only nearby second brother Geller responded to Kevin, "It’s doomed anyway, let it have one last decent meal before dying."

Kevin remained dissatisfied, "Such precious magical treasures being devoured by a beast is simply too wasteful."

Dissatisfied, Kevin took action.

He walked over to the Dragon Beast, fiercely pressing his slightly sharpened Dragon Claw into its body, and then savagely beat it before casting it out of the nest once again.
