Chapter 88

"Are you okay? Tell me if you feel any discomfort. We can stop on the sideway, " Calvin asked his mate as he noticed that the boy was silent for some minutes.

They were on their way to the Island and it was a long ride towards the harbor so he was worried that the omega might get car sick.

Rain smiled. "I'm okay, I was just thinking about the ocean… "

Evelyn looked behind from the passenger seat when she heard the boy. "Have you ever gone to the ocean before, Rain? I haven't,"

Rain shook his head. "No, I've only seen it in the movies… This is my first time too, "

"Are you excited?" Calvin asked, gently tucking in a strand of hair that fell onto the omega's face.

Rain flushed red from the sudden act of his mate. He looked down and fiddled with his fingers, trying to hide his red face. "I-I am…"

Evelyn couldn't help but chuckle at what she saw. She smiled brightly as she turned towards Keiran only to find him already staring at her fondly.

The alpha took her hand and brought it to his lips. He pressed a soft kiss on it before smiling.

The girl was confused and flustered. She looked at Rain who was trying to hold back his laugh.

What happened to him just happened to Evelyn too.

Both of them had no idea why their mates were acting so affectionate.

They weren't complaining though.

It was kind of sweet.

It was afternoon when they finally reached the harbor. The drive took longer than they thought. They stopped to have lunch on their way because all of them were really hungry.

As much as the omegas wanted to go into the sea and touch the waves they really had no time. The boat was ready and on top of it, they were all exhausted.

So they decided to get on the boat and go to the island before anything.

The boat drive was only 20 minutes long before they reached the Island. On the Island were a beautiful luxurious villa and some other buildings a little far away from it.

It looked like a really calm place.

Rain gasped as he got out of the boat.

He slowly made his way towards the ocean and stared at it for a moment before he called out for everyone.

"Luna! Come here! It feels so nice! "

Evelyn ran towards the boy as soon as she heard him, looking as excited as he was.

Both the omega's gasped when the waves touched their feet.

"So cool… " Evelyn grinned.

"The wind feels nice too, " Rain nodded before looking back at his mate and the alpha.

Both of them were watching the omega's with a small smile on their lips.

Calvin walked towards his mate when he saw Rain looking back.

Just when he was right behind the boy, a big wave suddenly came and drenched them up to their knees.

Rain yelped and stumbled back but Calvin wrapped an arm around his waist and held him still.

"I'm falling! It's pulling me! " The omega squeaked out, gripping onto his mate's shirt tightly.

Calvin chuckled out loud as he ruffled the boy's hair. "You're not falling. It's just the wave taking the sand. Stay still and you'll be okay, "

Rain clung to the beta and waited for the wave to go.

He looked over to Evelyn and saw that Keiran had picked her up so she wouldn't get wet and they were kissing each other passionately. He gasped and immediately turned red before burying his face in his mate's chest.

Calvin couldn't help but laugh at the boy's innocent reaction. He gently made Rain look up at him.

"Shall we go into the villa? We're drenched now, "

The omega nodded immediately, agreeing with his mate.

Calvin told Keiran and Evelyn that they were going in before he walked towards the villa with Rain.

There was a person standing in front of the villa, waiting for them as they approached.

He introduced himself as Sam, the butler of the villa. He managed all the workers and he made sure to explain things about the villa to the young pair before giving them their room keys.

John told them to call him if they need anything before walking out of the villa to welcome Keiran and Evelyn.

Calvin and Rain made their way toward their designated room. It was a beautiful room overlooking the ocean and it also had a balcony with glass doors.

Rain excitedly looked around the room. Everything looked so expensive and aesthetic.

"Waah! This must have cost so much… " He said in awe as he looked at the decorations.

Calvin chuckled before catching the attention of his mate. "Go take a shower and change into something comfortable. You're drenched up to your waist, " He pointed out.

Rain instinctively looked down and his mate was in fact right. He was wet up to his hips.

He looked at Calvin who was only drenched up to his midthigh.

"Why aren't you wet like me? " He pouted.

"Because I'm taller than you, shorty, " The beta couldn't help but laugh.

Rain glared at him for a minute as he took his clothes out of the suitcase.

He slowly walked up to Calvin with a serious expression on his face. He quickly took a pillow from the couch closer to him and threw it onto his mate's face before running off towards the bathroom.

The pillow hit Calvin straight on his face.

Once Rain was inside the bathroom, he poked his head out with a smug smile. "Don't anger short people. You'll never see us coming, " The boy winked before closing the door.

Calvin just stood there surprised for a minute before a small smirk made its way onto his lips.

His omega was a feisty one.

A short feisty one.
