Delphine froze for a moment. She had even recorded a video and was planning to go out and slap each of them across the face.
Ignatius Leclair watched her, absentminded and lost in thought. Her snow-white skin and everything about her was pulling him in. With a sudden rush in his head, he lowered himself and captured the lips he had longed for so much, devouring her entirely. His large hands lifted her body, pinning her against the wall as his breathing grew rapid.
The man’s presence exuded an intense aggressiveness, completely different from any other time. Even the piercing pine scent on him became richer, enveloping her in a dizzying haze.
Delphine quickly snapped back to her senses and bit him hard, saying with distaste, "Don’t touch me. You disgust me."
Her body was covered with the scent of other women, and there were lipstick stains on his shirt—yet he wanted to kiss her? Delphine, a notorious clean freak, blurted it out without thinking.
Ignatius Leclair’s expression turned dark and menacing, his sharp eyes like a brewing storm full of rage. Without a word, he wrapped an arm around her waist, hoisting her over his shoulder and walking out. If it weren’t for his own distaste for the lingering scent of other women in the room, he would’ve already stripped her naked and thrown her onto the bed.
Dare to despise him?
Melody Cloud emerged wrapped in a bath towel, stumbling haphazardly. Her face changed drastically, and she grabbed Ignatius in panic, crying out, "Ignatius, don’t leave!"
Ignatius coldly flung her off, kicked open the door, and walked out.
Delphine was slung over his shoulder, her head hanging upside down. She felt both uncomfortable and humiliated, pounding on Ignatius’s shoulder and lowering her voice in anger, "Ignatius Leclair, put me down!"
Having inhaled the aphrodisiac’s scent all night, every cell in Ignatius’s body was now burning and raging. His voice was hoarsely low beyond recognition: "Be good. Once we’re there, I’ll put you down. Don’t fight me, alright?"
The man carried her into his private suite at Cloud Summit, his lair. After closing the door, he said nothing and tossed Delphine onto the bed, starting to undo his shirt.
Delphine landed hard on the bed, her vision spinning from the impact. As she was about to climb down, he grabbed her ankle and dragged her back.
In no time, he had stripped off his shirt and was kneeling on the bed. His towering frame loomed over her slender, delicate body. He kissed her feverishly, rasping in between heated breaths, "Delphine Carter, does it mean nothing to you if I sleep with other women, huh?"
He was both furious and frustrated. The self-control he had always prided himself on was completely shattered because of this woman. Delphine had stood by and watched everything from start to finish without a single reaction!
Ignatius didn’t dare to dwell deeply on it—on the truth behind Delphine’s thoughts. But now, truly enraged, his face was livid. Perhaps Delphine had never cared about him at all. This woman was inherently cold-hearted, entirely indifferent.
Delphine was kissed nearly to the point of suffocation. It wasn’t until she felt the chill on her skin as her clothes were stripped away that she abruptly came to her senses, slapping him across the face.
Though the slap lacked strength, Ignatius still paused what he was doing. His dark, sharp eyes bore deeply into hers, his breathing erratic and his voice hoarse: "What are you playing coy for, huh?"
Delphine’s face turned pale. Her body trembled violently, and she slapped him again. This time, Ignatius’s expression sank entirely. His heavy breaths brushed against her tender skin, and his gaze burned with the wildness of a beast.
"Don’t touch me." Delphine’s body was stiff, her voice icy as her fingers gripped the bed sheets tightly. She stared at him coldly, refusing to waver. She had no intention of submitting—not even a little.
Ignatius’s expression grew even darker.
