Chapter 414: His Mommy is the Number One Beauty in the World

"It’s Mr. Shaw, Mr. Shaw is bad. He never takes me to the amusement park," Casimir Shaw said crisply, tilting his little head. His small hand gripped Mommy’s hand tightly, fearing that she’d disappear in the blink of an eye, and mercilessly sold out his dad in the process.

Even now, Casimir Shaw was very nervous, afraid that Leah didn’t want him. Over the years, Mr. Shaw had always refused to tell him where Mommy was. The little boy had an inkling that Mommy probably didn’t want anything to do with Mr. Shaw and him. So the moment he suddenly saw Leah appear in the mausoleum site parking lot, Casimir took such a daring step. Holding his sketchbook, he quietly snuck into Leah’s car, sitting silently the entire way, resolute on first figuring out where Mommy lived before clinging to her.

Leah raised an eyebrow, a hint of indignation flashing across her cold yet striking face. Was this kid trafficked? Otherwise, how could he so easily climb into a stranger’s car? With this thought, Leah felt even more justified in her decision to take this beautiful little boy in.

"Mommy, I want ice cream. I want to go to the amusement park, okay?" Casimir Shaw tugged on Leah’s hand, pouting and pleading pitifully.

"Alright, Mommy will take you to eat something yummy, go to the mall, and then to the amusement park," Leah said with a smile, patting his small head. She picked him up, placed him in the front passenger seat, and drove him off to get some food.

The eight-year-old Casimir Shaw obediently sat in the back seat. When he saw his watch flashing with incoming calls, his young yet cunning mind thought for a moment and decided not to pick up the phone. What if Mr. Shaw scared Mommy away again? Mr. Shaw was, without a doubt, the biggest liar in the world. Clearly, Mommy hadn’t abandoned him—Mommy was even taking him to the amusement park.

"Casimir, why do you keep calling me Mommy? Do I really look that much like your Mommy?" Leah asked, narrowing her almond-shaped eyes. Having picked up such a handsome young boy mid-way, her mood was soaring, and she asked with a teasing smile.

"I saw Mommy’s photo. You are Mommy," Casimir Shaw answered sweetly, revealing two dimples. Although Mr. Shaw had locked away all of Mommy’s photos to look at them alone, Casimir had secretly found them anyway. His Mommy was the most beautiful in the whole world.

Over on Leah’s side, she took young Casimir to the mall for dinner, while back at the Southern Cemetery, absolute chaos had broken out.

Shawzi was so desperate that he was ready to atone with his life. Over the years, life hadn’t been easy for the Major General. If not for the little young master, the accident back then wouldn’t have just left him paralyzed—it might have completely snuffed out his will to live. Now that this little boy had disappeared, what was to be done?

Richard Shaw had already descended from the mountains. There were no surveillance cameras around the mausoleum, so they could only pull traffic surveillance and check every vehicle.

"Call to retrieve the traffic surveillance, and then try dialing Casimir Shaw’s phone," Richard Shaw said after understanding the situation. His handsome, resolute face betrayed a trace of contemplation. Shawzi, who was sticking close by, looked troubled. This area near the mausoleum didn’t see much foot traffic, and it was impossible for Casimir Shaw to have been kidnapped or trafficked right under Shawzi’s nose.

In the Shaw Family, Casimir was the only great-grandchild and was cherished by everyone like a treasure. Every uncle and aunt had taught him safety protocols; even Richard Shaw himself had imparted military strategies to the boy. Considering all this, there was only one plausible explanation—Casimir had climbed into someone else’s car of his own free will and left.

"The young master’s phone is connected, but no one is answering. The satellite tracking system indicates he’s already entered the urban area, somewhere in the bustling district," Shawzi reported, panicked and almost losing his wits. With Richard Shaw now commanding the situation, Shawzi finally calmed down a bit.
