Chapter 918 - 933: Of Course We Should Sleep in Separate Rooms

The aunt nearby had a stunned expression as if she’d been struck by lightning. What happened to her lady? She just went out for a trip, and now she doesn’t even know where her own bedroom is.Feng Yi smiled and took Manman’s hand, "I’ll take you there."

Manman glanced at the aunt beside her and couldn’t help but explain when she saw the expression of ’a hundred thousand whys’ on her face, "Something happened while I was in the United States that caused temporary amnesia, so I can’t remember some things."

"Ma’am, you have amnesia?" The aunt’s mouth opened wide in shock, forming an O shape.

Manman nodded, then let Feng Yi lead her upstairs.

Walking into the bedroom, Manman looked around the room but still had no impression. She turned her head to look at Feng Yi behind her, "Tonight I’ll sleep in the master bedroom, and you sleep in the guest room, okay?"

"I don’t agree." Feng Yi refused without a second thought.

"Why don’t you agree?"

Feng Yi leaned close to Manman, his lips teasingly near her ear, "Because we’re a couple, and by both emotion and reason, we shouldn’t sleep in separate rooms."

Manman uncomfortably took a few steps back, "We’re a couple, yes, but I haven’t regained my memory yet."

"Maybe if I hold you while we sleep tonight, you’ll regain your memory by tomorrow."

Feng Yi raised his hand, grabbed the girl’s wrist gently, and pulled her into his embrace.

Manman, though suffering from amnesia, wasn’t a fool. If he held her while sleeping, who knows what kind of mess would happen.

"No need, either you sleep in the guest room, or I’ll go stay at my parents’ house. Your choice."

Feng Yi looked crestfallen, resting his chin on Manman’s shoulder, "Honey, won’t we have to sleep in separate rooms until your memory comes back?"

"Of course we have to sleep separately. I haven’t fallen in love with you now, nor can I recall anything from before, so why should I share a bed with you?"

Feng Yi was truly at a loss now. He hadn’t touched this girl for almost a month, and now it seemed it would be postponed indefinitely.

"If you don’t want to sleep in the guest room, then I’ll go back to my parents’ house."

Seeing that he didn’t respond, Manman pushed him away and was about to leave, but Feng Yi grabbed her wrist, "Fine, I agree."

With her back to him, Manman broke into a mischievous smile; she knew he would agree.

"Then go out first; I need to take a shower."

"I’ll help you wash."

"My injury has healed, I can wash myself now. Just hurry out."

Manman shoved and squeezed Feng Yi out of the master bedroom, closing the door behind him and locking it from inside.

Feng Yi looked at the closed door, sighing as he rubbed the bridge of his nose, then headed to the guest room next door.

After showering in the bathroom, Manman went to the wardrobe and picked out a nightgown to change into. She sat on the double bed, trying hard to recall everything that had happened here, but ended up giving herself a headache without recalling a single moment.

"Honey, let’s go eat." Feng Yi’s clear, fresh voice came from outside the bedroom.

Manman rubbed her aching head, got up from the bed, and walked over to open the door, "I’ve been thinking for a while now, still no impressions."

"No rush, if you can’t remember, then don’t try."

Feng Yi smiled, ruffling Manman’s still-damp long hair, took her hand to lead her downstairs.
