The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 959: Rewards for the Top Three

Chapter 959: Rewards for the Top Three

The game of tag was finally over. And I was not even in the top three. Just the top four.

Though it’s not wrong to say that I was the one who eliminated most of the monsters here.

The one who got the achievement to eliminate me was Shelia. Though she let down her guard soon after so she got eliminated by the Elf Queen, Tia. And Tia also let down her guard when she tagged Shelia out, so she got eliminated by Arin, the Vampire Queen.

And so, Arin was the champion of the first ever Ultimate Game of Tag.

It was fun, challenging, and we learned a lot from this game. Even those who lost early.

And so, we’re celebrating the end of the game with a feast in the Monsters World. Although we haven’t prepared for the reward, I will still consider the wishes of the top three.

"I want a fight! With Arin!"

That’s Shelia’s wish.

It’s quite rare for the vampires to be here. So instead of asking me for a spar, with whom she has fought a lot and lost all the time except if there’s a special rule like this game of tag, she asked the Vampire Queen for a spar.

And that’s not a wish I can give. So I asked for Arin’s opinion.

"Sure. If it’s just a spar, then I’m willing to do it. I also want to see how strong I am compared to the strongest werewolf. The strongest monster from this place," Arin said.

I never thought that she would be this competitive. She usually move for the reward. And the reward for her usually my blood. But now, she decided to agree for a spar against Shelia by her own will.

From what I’ve heard, it seems like this will be the first time that they fight against each other. And Shelia even asked Arin to drink a lot of blood before the spar. That’s Shelia indeed. She loves to fight against someone in their strongest form.

As fo Arin, it was rare for her to accept a challenge. Because many times before, other monsters often asked her for a fight. But she always refused unless I baited her using my blood.

And I think I understand the reason. Because not just her, but also other monsters here, they’re all looking at my fake right hand with concern.

If I, someone they thought to be the strongest, could even lost my hand, then in future fight, it could be their turn to lose something. Though some monsters were already fallen from just the previous battle alone. But only after seeing my missing right hand do they realize how grim the battle ahead will be.

Even the Elf Queen Tia’s wish is related to improving her strength.

"Using plant magic, we managed to create a new species of tree with the strongest but flexible texture. I want the Blacksmith to create bows using them as the material," Tia said.

"I don’t think you need to ask that as your wish. If it’s to increase everyone’s strength, then just ask me and I will do my best to have it granted. You can ask anything else," I said.

"I... actually wanted to go and play in humans world with my master. But I’m just too shy to ask her," she said.

"That’s not a problem at all. You can tell her via telepathy right now and she will do it. If not, tell her that I allow you to play with her. She will do it then," I said.

"Thank you, Master’s Master," she said.

Master’s Master? She’s not wrong though.

"Lastly... Arin. You can ask for anything as long as I can do it," I said.

"Your blood."

What a quick answer. That was expected, but that’s not really much of a reward, right?

"But I always give you blood whenever possible though?"

"I want to drink it directly from your neck. I have only been drinking from your finger, but I still prefer to drink it directly from the neck. Just five liters is enough," she said.

"I’ll freaking die! That’s too much!"

"I won’t do it at once. Just 500ml at once," she said.

So she wants to drink my blood directly ten times? Well, as long as I can handle it, then it’s fine. Though I don’t think 500ml is a small amount, I should still be able to handle it. And it won’t damage me much if it’s just that amount. Still enough for me to fight in case of emergency.

"I think that’s fine. Just tell me when you want to do it," I said.

"Right now!"

Soon after, she jumped on my back and bit me with her fang on my neck. And she started drinking from there.

Vampires have some kind of organ that no normal humans have. It’s the hole in their fangs that allow them to drink blood directly as soon as she bite something.

That’s what usually happe when a vampire bite me. Even the blood coming out won’t stop unless the vampire themselves stopped drinking. So even healing magic when I got myself bitten didn’t work.

But this time, Arin did something that no vampire has done. Or at least from what I’ve known.

She bit me on my neck, then she stopped sticking her fang on my neck and just suck the blood with her mouth. I think this will leave a hickey mark.

"Umm... I think that’s more than half a liter. That’s enough," I said.

"Thanks. Also, can you give me some blood bags? I’d like to fight Shelia soon," she said.

Then I promised her that I will bring them tomorrow unless there’s an emergency. I also want them to fight soon so they can be ready and stronger for the next battle.

"Oh, I also want to play the game of tag again. If there’s anyone who knows a way to improve the game for training, then you can give me some suggestion to change the rule. But for the next game, don’t expect any reward from me," I said.

And so, we discussed about the next game and what rule will be changed as we continued with our feast.

Then soon after, I returned home bringing the kids with me. They’re all tired, but they seem happy after playing with the monsters.

By the way, about the kids battle, the battle between cool and pretty, the winner was the pretty group. Alan was frustated, but he seemed to enjoy playing. The kids were so tired from playing they slept as soon as they returned home.

The next day, Albert heard everything.

"A game of tag as training? I think you need to bring more people with you so the human side won’t get humiliated. Lana was so happy that she could go all out against the monster kids. Next time you do it, just tell me. Then I will prepare a reward that the monsters will be happy for," Albert said.

I guess it’s fine to expect a reward then. Though for the people I brought to play, I don’t think I can ask for too many people. After all, we still need people to protect the people.

And as expected, the cult made their move early.

It’s just some master level mages attacking some small cities. And the army could handle them, so I didn’t have to move.

"It’s highly likely that they’re looking for Roy. Once Roy appear, the cult will think that he lives near wherever the battle took place. I think we can use this to bait them somewhere."

That’s what Albert wrote for everyone to see in the forum. To use me as a bait to trap the cult into thinking that the Aura user they’re looking for don’t live in Cassau.

Though a lot of times I appeared was in Tatrama, so this country should be the most dangerous one at the moment. That’s why it’s best to make the cult move to another location. Far from Tatrama if possible.

Though it’s not like there’s a king who are willing to let a city get destroyed. At least not at the moment.

"We can just get a whole city evacuated. Then we will make our force to pretend to be citizens there and wait until the cult arrived. So we need time until we can do that. I especially want the people who have finished their training in the Spirit Mountain to be there to make sure that we can beat all the enemies. For now, let’s find a city in a strategic location where we can bait the cult to go. Only after we found that city will we let Roy fight even in small skirmishes," Harold suggested.

Since Fabio was busy trying to reach master level, Harold returned to the throne. And it was not Toni who suggested that idea. It was Harold himself.

I can see why Toni can be that smart. Seems like Harold was a great leader originally.

And so, I was forced to wait a little longer. That’s fine. I can play and train with the monsters more this way.
