Chapter 920: They Might be Distractions

For a long distance communication, even the cult must have some, right? They either use their wind mages to fly and deliver some information. Or maybe if it’s in the sea, they used water mages to travel underwater. Making it hard for us to notice.

I have seen Carmen swum in the ocean once. She was very fast. But now that I’m a master level summoner and an Aura Master, I think I’m faster since she’s still an expert level water mage. Though Spot is the best for underwater transportation now even if I have the Crab People.

Even if the cult don’t send wind mages or water mages, they can still use their summoners to open portals to deliver messages. But the location they can go to is limited to where their monster is.

I’m just glad that they haven’t found the Pear-y Fruit yet. Or they can deliver messages to multiple location at once.

It’s crazy that they captured many summoners who just awakened their elements and bring them to join the cult. They must have taught or force those summoners to obey them completely from young age. To make sure that they won’t betray the cult.

"Maybe they will realize that some of our summoners are already capable of using portals. At least we have the advantages of having Pear-y Fruits. Our summoners have more familiars than them," Albert said.

Her first familiar, Sunny, the sunflower monster, is very strong in her giant flower form. Then Elsie is very convenient because of Divine Vision. And her tentacles can also be used to fight.

Maybe because Tia killed a lot after getting used to archery, Lina will soon be able to reach expert level. That makes sense.

Then there’s a master level summoner who unfortunately has reached master level before he could make a contract with another familiar. So he can only have one familiar. And that is the leader of the centaur tribe.

Sunglasses and I stayed behind in Consenza along with other kings who are discussing something. Then we got the news that a village in Arturo needs reinforcement.

"Roy, you go there on your own. If there’s too many enemies and you can’t finish them on your own, open up a portal for me to move," Sunglasses said.

That is what we’re doing here. Though for Sunglasses, he has several phones ready for him so he can communicate with each caller and send orders for them.

While killing bandits, I noticed that none of them acted like a real bandits at all. None of them were being idiots. So I’m pretty sure by now that they are members of the cult.

And as usual, I killed them while hiding my identity using the magic armor.

Though they’re all too weak so I don’t need to bring Sunglasses here.

After killing all the enemies, I told the soldiers here to search around in case there are some of them in hiding before I return.

And now I’m waiting again next to Sunglasses.

With so many locations under attack at the same time, I guess we know for sure right now that there are way too many members of the cult than we expected. Even after many victories we’ve had, they can still send a large number of people to their death.

And seeing how weak they are, they haven’t send their real force yet.

With so much happening right now, I wonder when can we really destroy the cult? When can I achieve my inner peace?

Until then, there’s only one thing I need to do. Kill as many of them as possible.
