The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 918: Still at the Party

Chapter 918: Still at the Party

The party resumed. It took a while until everyone’s mood returned back to normal. They all ignored the Attention-seeker now as he’s still kneeling there on the floor.

Everything he planned for this party has turned to dust. Not only I’m not the most useless person from our generation, but it turns out that I’m the total opposite. I’m the most useful. While he’s the most useless it seems. Because Shirley herself, the Princess of this country, said how much she dislikes people like him.

If he’s so good, then he should just fight. Either fighting monsters as a hunter, or join the war. That’s much better than fighting in the Arena where killing is forbidden.

Though if he’s looking for safety, then that’s fine. But does someone who is looking for a safe place would go all the way to pick on someone who might be worthless? Or I guess he’s just that jealous that I’m dating Angela and Kayla.

Now everyone knows that I’m actually the greatest man in the same generation as them. Even beyond Angela who was known as the strongest thanks to the tournament.

A weak element and a weak familiar. Using them, I became an expert level air mage and a master level summoner. There’s no one who can talk shit about me anymore.

By the way, it was quite surprising that Mr. Wig is actually here attending the party. I can see inside his wig that I made to be slippery, there’s something that he used between the wig and his head. Glue.

That’s right. He glued his wig to his head just so he can attend this party. And that made my mood better because it made me wants to laugh so much. Though I can’t just do that since my Divine Vision is a secret.

Mr. Wig appeared here soon before Shirley arrive. So he pretty much witnessed everything. And hearing that Wendy is a master level mage, and it was all thanks to me, Mr. Wig who was about to approach Wendy stopped and started sweating so much that the glue sticking his wig to his head is no longer strong enough to hold it. And it turned back into slippery wig.

Using some kind of excuse, he left to the restroom. But instead of going to the restroom, he left the restaurant and I don’t think he will back anytime soon.

Well, it’s not like anyone is waiting for him. No one care about him anyway. Even Shirley didn’t notice him.

I heard the girls are talking with Angela and Kayla. They are curious about me. And the boys can only talk to each other because they are afraid of me. They can’t even talk to Angela or Kayla anymore thanks to me.

The uninvited sons of aristocrats are too scared to do anything as well. They really hoped that they can ask for permission from Shirley to leave. But Shirley showed how angry she was at them before so they can only stay still and wait.

They can only talk to each other and I can also hear them asking if it’s a good idea to approach me or not. Obviously, those with ulterior motives will be kicked away by me if they approach me.

The teachers proudly talk of how strong we are. As if it was the result of their teachings. But Wendy stopped them from talking any further because it’s not. She said that it’s all thanks to me and I know how to get stronger even when I’m not at school.

"Also, Roy is a master level summoner. He has a great sense of hearing so he can hear what we’re talking right now. So don’t make a mistake saying that it’s all thanks to you or he will get pissed," Wendy said to the teachers.

As a proof, she waved her hand at me. And I waved back.

Now the teachers won’t steal my achievement.

They should have asked me on how to improve and teach others. I’m also a teacher after all. A professor in air element to be exact.

The Attention-seeker finally snapped back to reality. He can’t blame me for anything anymore. And he realizes that both Angela and Kayla were close to me because of how great I am.

So what will he do? Something stupid?

"Roy! You’re a really amazing guy! I’m sorry for everything I have done!"

He exaggeratedly apologized. Seems like he’s still an Attention-seeker. Thinking that if he apologized in public like this, everyone’s impression of him will get better.

Instead of accepting his apologies, I just kicked him away. Strong enough to blow him to the wall. But not strong enough to destroy the wall.

"Sorry. Just ignore us," I said to everyone as I walked toward the Attention-seeking guy.

I grabbed him and lifted him up before sitting him on a chair and put my hands on his shoulders.

"Hey, Attention-seeker. Do not try to gain everyone’s attention every single second. It’s unsightly," I said.

"I-I’m sorry..."

"No need to apologize. Because I don’t accept apology from idiots like you," I said.

I know what he is. An extreme idiot who seeks safety in his success but unable to contain himself and always look for attention.

He’s fighting safely in the Arena instead of taking requests or joining the army. Hearing the cheers for him, he got excited and forget everything else. Thinking that he’s on top of the world when he doesn’t even bother going to another city and see how strong other mages are. He’s satisfied in being a frog in the well.

"I don’t care if you don’t want to fight the cult and only wish to fight in the Arena. Acting like you’re some sort of celebrity. But you should have keep it to yourself and never bother with us. Now everyone who praised you will insult you from now on. Do you like it? Just leave me alone. I’m only here for the food," I said.

Then I return back to my table. Everyone is just looking at me until I resumed my eating.

It took another minute before they started to become noisy again. Especially the girls after realizing that Shirley is just like any other girls.

It’s good that she found new friends now. I’m glad that she’s happy.

After another hour in the restaurant, and I have stopped eating for a while already, no one seem to have the intention of leaving. Now it turned into teaching lessons from Kayla and Wendy on how to get stronger. Even the restaurant staffs and the sons of the aristocrats were listening.

Then, one of the girls who was close with Kayla and Angela before made up her mind and approached me.

"Umm... Roy! How did you get so strong?"

She’s afraid of me. But she built up her courage to converse with me.

"Hmm... for my air element, I just cultivate regularly. I got a lot of resources and found good environment to cultivate. For my summoning element though, just like any other summoners, I just need to have my familiar kill a lot," I said.

"But you have a Black Slime. You were famous for having a weak familiar," she said.

"That’s just at school. I have no desire to be put to compete with others. So I always held back my power," I said.

Now more people started to approach me. Wanted to hear more from me. Though it’s just that girl who is talking with me.

"But that is still a Black Slime. A weak familiar. And reaching master level means that the Black Slime killed a lot of monsters. Or is it that you managed to get another familiar?"

I do get other familiars. But the Black Slime is still with me. Not that I can tell them about Pear-y Fruit.

I summoned Victoria to my hand to show her that I still have the same familiar as before.

"If you watched the tournament, you should have seen how the air mage, Sara, used her air magic," I said before I demonstrate how I used Victoria to kill.

I used Victoria as a bullet for my Air Cannon. When Victoria was about to hit the wall, I summoned her back to my hand.

"Doing it over and over again helped me increase my summoning level," I said.

"Oh! So you learned to compress air to shoot from Lady Sara!" she said.

"Hmm? The opposite though. She learned it from me. Though since she’s more talented in air magic than me, I’m sure that she will reach master level in that element soon," I said casually.

"Ah! So you’re the one Lady Sara mentioned!" she shouted in surprise.

"Do you know her?" I asked.

"I started going to college last year. I don’t have air element, but I’m a fan of Lady Sara. So I joined her lectures and she mentioned her teacher a lot. So it’s you. Wait, does it mean that you’re already a professor at a university? Since Lady Sara was your student, does it mean that..." she stopped talking as she was in shock with the revelation.

"Yes. I already have the knowledge to be a professor even when I was just graduated from introductory school. And the Dean recognized my talent. So instead of being a student, I got appointed as a pofessor," I said.

Wow. Again, the party was stopped because of me. They’re all surprised that I became a professor at a young age.

Though seeing that more people accepted me, I feel good. Maybe I should show off more now.
