Chapter 887: The Stampede in the Past

In the illusion, Roy is just gathering herbs as a hunter while also trying his best to find out the Black Slime’s special ability. And he only learned of the Black Slime’s shape-shifting ability.

So he tried to kill a goblin with a sword made of the Black Slime. But he failed because his strength is so weak.

He might be raised as a villager and helped the village with farming. But that doesn’t make him stronger than even ordinary goblins. Especially since he was just a beginner level summoner.

And for the rest of his life, in his past life, he was just a beginner level summoner. Even after learning Aura, he didn’t kill enough for him to increase his level.

As the illusion goes on, Victoria and Shirley had confirmed that everything about Roy is totally ordinary.

Victoria keep on making new heads around Roy’s sleeping body the copies of the people that they saw. Though for those that Victoria remembered to be dead already, she erased them.

"Wow. Roy killed a lot of people, huh?" Shirley asked after watching Victoria erased some heads she thought to have been killed in this life.

"That’s why he could reach the next level faster now," Victoria said as she erased another head of someone she knew that Roy has killed.

Roy might have forgotten their faces. But Victoria remembered most of them. Especially since Roy is using her as a weapon. So Victoria remembered most of the people who died because of her.

Meanwhile, there’s a Spirit King who is confused. Because it should be him who wanted to learn about Roy’s past. But it turned out to be the two weirdos.

’They kept talking and making heads. I started to think that this is a mistake. But if it’s true that he returned from the future, then I must know the reason why,’ the Spirit King thought.

And then they saw how Roy changed. It’s just a little change. From an innocent boy to someone who experienced a big tragedy.

The stampede at Melk.

In the original past, there’s no one to prevent it and to protect the city. Many people died. Way too many. And Roy was just lucky that he’s alive even though he’s the weakest.

Then, Roy who survived waited until all the monsters left. There’s no more of what can be called as a city. So he needed to move.

Time passed, and Roy is now taking an entrance exam to be a doctor. While still gathering herbs for a living since the money he got after the stampede has all gone.

"He wanted to be a doctor because the Black Slime’s ability to change into tools for surgery. Since he couldn’t fight, he tried to heal," Victoria said.

"And he also started jogging every day to improve his stamina. Though he’s still not thinking of fighting with you as a weapon yet. I guess he must still be traumatized after the stampede and how he’s much weaker than even goblins," Shirley said.

Roy started his training. Not because he wanted to fight. But because he learned that as a surgeon, he needed a lot of stamina so he could perform a surgery for hours.

"Though he wasted some money going to brothel. I never thought of him as someone who is addicted to sex. So it must be for him to remove the negative thoughts in his head," Victoria said.

"But it is still embarrassing how I need to watch my own brother have sex with various girls. Can’t we just skip these parts?" Shirley asked the Spirit King.

"No. I want to watch everything. And it’s usually when a man is with a prostitute that they leak out their inner thought. Maybe he will leak his thought sooner or later," the Spirit King said.

The past of Roy that they thought to be an ordinary man’s life before, turned into the life of an ordinary man who had tragic past. He’s still ordinary. Learning medicine to be a surgeon.

"I really wanted to tell Albert how Roy is actually our half-brother. He will be shocked hearing it," Shirley said.

"Though he will be disappointed that the Spirit King didn’t grant any of our wishes. But I hope we can find more clues about the cult from Roy’s past. This will help a lot," Victoria said.

Even now, there are more heads created by Victoria using her clones. But now, all of them are half the size of ordinary head. Because there are just too many of them. To make some space.
