Chapter 1127: Finding the Kaiser Whale

Before Spot get injured even more, I told him to resurface. We can’t dive right away in this dangerous water. The goal is to talk with the Kaiser Whale. Not to get injured while doing it.

Spot agreed to my plan so he swims back up as fast as he could to the surface. For now, we need to have a new plan. Though it will probably just be for us to get above the Kaiser Whale before we can just dive down vertically right away.

There are actually some monsters here that can swim faster than Spot. But I don’t think they can chase after us in the air.

So while Spot was swimming upward, I tried to get rid of the sea monsters that are getting closer to us. It’s annoying that they are so fast. But with my armor covered with Aura, I can protect myself. But that is not the case with Spot. His scales protecting his body are not strong enough to protect himself.

The good thing is that the sea monsters that are faster than Spot are small. So the damage he received is not big. But it’s just so many.

Maybe because the monsters here have never seen a monster like Spot so they are curious about him. And the only way for them to check him out is by biting him. It’s not simply because they are hungry.

We have dived quite deep, but we could reach the surface not long after. And once we’re out of the water, the sea monsters chasing after us can’t follow. They can breach the water and jump. But they can’t fly. Though there are still some that are biting onto Spot’s tail. So I get rid of them.

"Finally, we’re out," Spot said.

"The next time we dive might be more difficult. But since it should just be a vertical dive, we can get there quickly. Next time, I’ll cover your entire body with Aura. Use a smaller version of you that I can ride. Let’s hope that there won’t be any monsters on the way," I said.

That’s the only plan I can think of. So for now, it’s best to return back to the previous island. But actually, Andro is closer to us than the island. And Andro is approaching us right away with Pawzer still on his head.

"The Whale is coming up?" Andro asked.

"Not yet. The sea is much harsher than the sky. For now, we will get Kayla to heal Spot. We’ll ride your back again," I said.

"Sure. That’s fine with me," Andro said.

So we get on top of Andro’s back. And Spot instantly rested his body there. Seems like flying is tiring for him at the moment.

I called Kayla and told her what happened before opening a portal for her to come here.

"Oh, that looks bad," Kayla said.

"They’re not deep enough to reach Spot’s inner organ. But diving deep with that condition will be hard for him even if he’s a half sea-serpent," I said.

"Right. This part of the sea is too harsh even for me. Which makes it a really good spot for training. Next time, I’ll come here with my children. We will start fighting from the shallower area before we go deeper as we get stronger," Spot said.

"Now you’re more and more similar to the other monsters in the village. You want to get stronger. Which is good," I said.

After Kayla healed Spot, she also healed me even though I don’t need it. But I feel better. I guess I wasted quite a bit of my stamina under the water.

"Don’t return me back. I’ll stay here because I think you might need another healing after you bring the Kaiser Whale back with you," Kayla said.

Well, if that’s what she wants.

"Andro, can you fly over there? That direction should be above where the Kaiser Whale is," I said.

Since fighting while swimming take so much stamina, it’s best for us to just let Andro to get us there first. Spot also agree with it.

After just a few minutes of flying, we’re already there.

"This is it, Roy. Under us is exactly where my clone is," Victoria said.

"Then we will dive from here. Spot, let’s get ready," I said.

This time, Spot is in his smaller version where I can wrap my legs around his body. This is good because it means I don’t have to spread my Aura to his huge body.

"You can go down now. I’ll cover you with Aura when I see monsters approaching," I said.

It’s not the time to practice my sight anymore. So I will use my Divine Vision.

From above, we fly until we are directly above the location that Victoria mentioned. And once we’re there, we stopped for a bit.

"Roy, are you ready?" Spot asked.

"Let’s go!" I said.

As soon as I said that, Spot dived down really fast. With his fastest speed in his smaller version of himself, we should be able to get to the bottom of the ocean in just a few minutes.

The water pressure is so great. But with my Aura protecting my body, I’m fine with it.

Then I see a huge monster that can swallow us with its huge mouth. So I cover Spot’s entire body with Aura. Similar to how I share my Aura with my familiars.

"Oh, I think I can go faster now. Before, I had to endure the water pressure as well. Now that I have protection around my body, I can go even faster. Hang on tight!" Spot said.

As he said, Spot dived even faster. And the giant monster that was about to swallow us missed.

The deeper we go, the harder it is to move as you want because of the water pressure. Even if it’s Spot who is half a sea monster. But now that he has Aura protecting him, he can go even faster.

Now that we’re so fast, the monsters that would chase after us before didn’t even bother looking. I guess we’re just too fast for them and they knew that they couldn’t get to us no matter how fast they are.

’Over there! We’re getting there soon!’ Victoria said via telepathy.

Utilizing my Divine Vision to the fullest, I realized that the huge reef in front of us is not a reef at all. But that’s the Kaiser Whale. Which is still very far from here.

Using Victoria as a cane, I pointed at the direction of the Kaiser Whale. And Spot changes his direction without reducing his speed.

Soon after, we’re finally there to see a giant eye suddenly opened. Then the eye is looking straight at me. We finally reach him.

I tapped on Spot’s head to remind him what to say.

"Oh, right. On my back is the man you met before. He wants to talk to you but he can’t because we’re underwater. So it’s best for us to return back to the surface to talk. The Kaiser Dragon and the werecheetah are also waiting for you because they want to talk with... you? Wait, you’re looking at me not at the man on my head. Is there anything wrong?" Spot asked.

Only now do I realize that the Kaiser Whale is actually looking at Spot. I thought that with that huge eyeball, he’s looking at me.

Still, can he even hear Spot talking to him?

Then a loud and slow voice similar to Andro is speaking to us.

"You’re small but I sensed some familiarity with you. Who are you?" the Kaiser Whale asked.

He knows Spot? But Spot was always on Earth for over a thousand years. Back when he was still a baby serpent. So does it mean that the Kaiser Whale met him before?

I left from Spot’s back and using gestures, I told Spot to reveal his real form. The giant serpent form. Because it seems like the conversation won’t progress if Spot doesn’t do it.

I thought that Spot won’t understand me so I was about to grab my phone. But then, Spot nodded and transformed to his original form. The one he used when he entered the water before and got attacked by other monsters.

"I am the son of a sky serpent and a sea serpent. I was contracted by a summoner over a thousand years ago and lived on Earth since I was just a baby. I only recently returned to this world not long ago," Spot said.

"I see. So you are... let’s talk about this later. So the dragon and the cat are waiting for me, right? Let’s get to the surface right away. Stick to my body so we can get there faster," he said.

So Spot changes to his smaller form that can wrap around my waist like a belt, and I attached myself to the Kaiser Whale. And the Kaiser Whale swims up at a much faster speed than Spot or even Ray when they’re outside.

Even with Aura protecting my body, I can’t move my body at all. I had to use everything I had just to stick myself on his body and to endure the speed and the water pressure.

And in no time at all, we’re already outside. Spot quickly transformed into his giant form and grabbed me who was thrown into the air.

I never thought that this would be much more tiring than anything I have experienced before.
