Chapter 1112: To the Enemy Base
After getting Kayla’s agreement to do my plan, I raided the enemy’s base a few times.
I still can’t see far with my Divine Vision. But I can still see far enough to see into the portal the enemy summoners opened by using Aura on my eyes. Making my eyes as sharp as the elves’.
And from what I see, even though there are different summoners, they are from the same place. Because I can see a lot of huge buildings from inside the portal. And they all look similar.
So I told Kayla and the others after returning back to the island where Angela is.
"A place with a lot of huge and tall buildings? Does anyone know where it is?" Kayla asked.
"My world has a lot of them. In fact, almost every city has huge and tall buildings. Though it’s not necessarily be in my world," Victoria said.
"And we still don’t know yet if the buildings I saw are similar to the buildings in Victoria’s world. So it can still be in this world," I said.
My guess is that when Angela started attempting to breakthrough, some of the people from the cult’s smaller bases felt it. Then they all reported it to the main base. And now, the main base is sending people here.
Well, I hope that’s the case. Because it means that I can destroy their main base soon.
But just destroying the main base is not enough. I have to destroy even the smaller ones. As long as there are still some people who believe in the Evil God, then the cult is not destroyed yet.
But how do I know if that’s the case or not even after I destroy the main base? I don’t. I can only know once they make a move.
Though if they somehow won’t make any move at all in my lifetime after I destroy the main base, I guess I can say that I finally managed to destroy the cult.
Well, that’s for the future. Let’s focus on the present.
"So, can you somehow infiltrate them? It seems like every time we got close the summoners quickly closed the portal before we can get any closer," Candy asked.
"If I’m alone, I can do it. Though once I’m inside, I will be vulnerable since I’m all alone and it’s possible that I will have to face mages beyond the stage of master level. But that’s the risk I’m willing to take."
I have lost my hand before. And Kayla regenerated it with her healing magic. So I’m confident that as long as I’m still alive, even if I lose all my limbs, I can still recover as long as I can return.
The risk this time is greater than anything I have done before. Because even though I’m stronger than I was, the enemy this time might be even stronger. Though if I can defeat those strong enemies, then we will get a lot of benefits by taking this mission.
We can locate the enemy’s base and defeat their strong mages. It will be great if I can even just locate where the base is.
Though if we can’t attack the base as soon as possible, then they will probably move away from that base.

I can’t see what’s inside those huge buildings. But if those buildings are important, then if they want to move, they have to move to another place while bringing a lot of things there. And I doubt they can transport all those buildings easily. So I guess they won’t really move and will just increase their defense once the location is known.
We stopped the discussion once the elves heard that Shirley is coming. The elves told us that Shirley is here so we stopped talking.
I’m still hiding this plan from Shirley and Sara. Can’t tell them about this.
"It’s what happens after you increase your importance too much. They rely too much on you and don’t want you to do things that will get you in danger," Victoria said.
She’s right. But that doesn’t matter. I have waited far too long to destroy the cult. I want to go wild without anyone telling me to stop.
And two days later, when I’m raiding their base again together with Kayla, Jewel, and Kron, I finally find a chance to enter.
We just created ruckus and kill people and monsters along the way. And thanks to Kron suddenly acting on his own, he gathered the enemies’ attention at him. So I hid and secretly go to the furthest summoner who is opening a portal.
Spot is in the sky helping by shooting his magic breath. So I don’t have camouflage skill. I can only rely on my instinct and skill to hide my presence.
The summoner has a portal open. Then from there, several dozens of mages entered. Those who entered instantly ready to fight. So I’m waiting for the perfect chance.
Once I’m inside, I might be greeted by powerful magic. I have to be ready at all time with my sword already at hand and Reizpear pieces in my pocket.
And I find the chance to enter when Kayla and the others retreated to the sky to where Spot is. Everyone’s eyes are looking at them.
Once I move, they will find me right away. But if I’m fast enough, I can enter the portal after I kill the summoner.
So when everyone’s eyes are at the retreating Kayla and the others, I make my move. Rushing into the portal as I killed everyone in the way.
"The Aura user is still here!" someone shouted.
The summoner realized that I’m already nearby. He tried to close the portal but as the portal got smaller, I leaped inside while killing him as well.
Now I’m totally in the middle of the enemies. I have entered the portal.
’Victoria! I’m inside!’ I said to Victoria.
’Good! Stay there for as long as possible. Even after I find out where you are, stay there and survive! It will take some time until I can tell where you are,’ Victoria said.
Stay here as long as possible and survive? That will be difficult. But it’s not impossible.
"Armored man with a sword. He’s the Aura user!"
Everyone is now trying to kill me while I’m still checking the huge buildings. I also checked the surrounding and haven’t found anyone beyond the stage of master level yet. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t exist.
Now, there are a few things I have to do. But first, let’s kill.
With my sword, I slashed dozens of enemies at once. And I didn’t forget to leave behind some Blobbies everywhere. On the ground, on someone’s clothes, on the building, just everywhere. I can’t be sure that no one will notice the Blobbies.
I keep running without stopping. Not in the air. But running on the ground. I can’t give too many opening by running in the air. Though running in the ground will make the earth mages easily attack me. But when they do, I will jump and start running in the air.
It’s bigger than a city. Maybe even bigger than the biggest capital city. With many huge buildings here.
Thankfully, I can’t sense Angela here. Which means that we are far from the island. And it means that there are other bases where the cult members could sense someone is trying to breakthrough. But I’ll think about them later.
This might be their biggest base. Could be the main base or just a fake to make it look like one.
Thanks to the fact that this place is far from the island, I can use my Divine Vision freely. And I checked several buildings. Most of them are buildings where people live. Not important location. Just homes.
One building has hundreds of rooms where hundreds of people can live. Even together with their family. So it’s no wonder if there are millions of people here.
...Isn’t that a nightmare? A single Aura Master facing against millions of master level mages. That’s hell.
And they have families as well? Then it will be impossible to bring some people here because there are children here.
Damn, this is annoying. But I have to do it.
’Roy, I found out where you are. Now you have to survive for a while. Leave Angela to us,’ Victoria said.
’Good. It’s not in another planet, right?’ I asked.
’No. It’s still in Monsters World. It’s just in the opposite side of where the island is.’
’The opposite side? What does that mean?’
’It means that I can sense my clones that you spread around from below the ground. I can sense them from under me. Not directly under me, but it’s still that far from where I am. Somewhere that we have never explored yet,’ Victoria said.
...How long will it take to go here with Ray? I think it will be too long. So I have to be able to leave behind some Blobbies that they will never find. This way, it will be easier for us to come here again.
