Chapter 1102: Angela Starts Breaking Through

Today is the day. We don’t know how long it will take for Angela to reach master level. But we have prepared as much as possible.

There are three groups. We will protect Angela in turns. Though for the monsters, those who like fighting will fight whenever they want. And that means almost all of them except for the angels and somehow the elves as well.

So the angels will stay behind to heal injured monsters. And the elves will protect Angela at all time. We can do that because the other monsters will fight the whole time.

For the groups, it’s just for us humans.

We have Kayla, Jewel, Veronica, Celestine, Candy, Wendy, Kron, and I. We split them into three groups excluding me.

Kayla and Jewel. Veronica and Candy. Celestine and Wendy. Then Kron will do whatever he wants just like usual.

One group will fight with the monsters one at a time. The other two groups will be reinforcement in case the active group can’t handle everything on their own.

As for me, I will be mostly stay near Angela with the elves. The elves have good eyes. And we’re protecting Angela in the forest in this island. So they can use their full strength in case of attack from above.

Though I have better eyes. So I will stay here. I’m the last line of defense in case someone managed to break through the other group.

Then there’s Georgia who will fight. She won’t join the other angels. But she will be with Graham like usual. Fabio and I hope that with this battle, Georgia’s master, Maya, can reach advanced level. Then I hope that she can tell us more of what she knows other than the facility.

There’s also Andro above who will help us just in case. Pawzer who is curious as always can’t be relied to help. But if he wants to fight that would be great.

"Will this be enough?" Jewel asked.

"We have soldiers prepared at all time in case we need reinforcement. But only from the four big countries. The others have too few soldiers so it’s best to not ask them for help. Though I hope there won’t be a time when we need them to fight," I said.

"What about Sara and Shirley?" Jewel asked.

"They are busy. Shirley is a princess, you know? And we already have Candy and Wendy. We don’t need to ask another strong agent from Tatrama to help," I said.

Though both Candy and Wendy are now not affiliated with the agents of Tatrama anymore. Candy is with me. And Wendy is a teacher. And they are helping me now not because of the kingdom’s order. But because of me. I’m such a lady-killer.

"So Angela, you’re ready?" I asked.

"I’m counting on you."

Soon after she said that, she started cultivating. She’s attempting to breakthrough.

I was relaxed at first. But then, I feel something in the air. In the wind. In everything. This is mana.

The mana fluctuation from Angela trying to reach master level is insane! Even above in the sky, Andro was shocked.

Everyone is looking at the center of it all. On Angela’s position in this island. Even I turned back to look at her.

It’s crazy. How far the mana fluctuation can be felt?

Some of the elves who are guarding Angela closely were even fainted from it. They’re too close to her.

But that’s not the worst part. Some of the monsters here actually lost their mind and bare their fangs at Angela.

I am the first one to recover from all this. Using my power as Aura Master, I came back to my sense as quickly as possible.

"WAKE UP! SHE IS NOT THE ENEMY YOU HAVE TO KILL!"

I shouted as loud as possible. Using my air magic as well to make my voice louder.

And thanks to that, the monsters regained their senses. The fainted elves also started to regain their consciousness.

"With this much mana there will be a lot of monsters coming here. Weak and strong. From the sky and the sea. Maybe even from underground. Make sure that no one managed to pass you by!"

I’m at the center of the island. I can’t see to the sea because even though it’s not really a big island, the sea is still too far from here. Even with my Divine Vision, I can’t see them.

So I can only rely on the others.

For the sea, we have the Crab People and Spot and his children. In the sky, we have a lot more. In land, most of the monsters are centaurs since they can’t fly and can’t swim fast.

We have also brought four floating islands near the center of this island. There are monsters on those islands. I think we have enough protection. But there’s no telling how much is too much.

Now, if someone from the cult noticed it, they will surely come here whatever it takes. They must have sensed that someone is trying to reach the next level. And someone they don’t know.

They should have known that I can use portals. And there were several bases here that we destroyed in the past. So I’m sure even the cult realizes that we’re also here in this world.

They will send their full force to attack us if they sense it. We just need to wait.

And I hope that the Kaiser Whale noticed it and will come here on his own. With Andro and hopefully Pawzer as well, they will try to explain things to the Kaiser Whale.

Well, if the Kaiser Whale didn’t receive the same suffering s the Kaiser Tortoise. If he has been modified too much, then we might have no choice but to kill him.

Soon after, there are movements in the sea. Crab and the others already started fighting.

Then from above, many flying monsters are approaching. All of them have the same target. Angela.

’Shelia. Graham. Crabbe. If any of you need to get stronger, I’ll summon you here so I can share my Aura with you guys,’ I said to my familiars via telepathy.

’There’re only weak monsters right now. I don’t need it!’ Shelia said.

The others also refrained to get Aura for now. That’s good.

But this is just the first day. Tomorrow, the stronger monsters who might be slower than these other monsters will come. And every day, there will be an even stronger monster.

But we won’t give up. We’re also strong.

"Roy, summon Ray. I want to take a look at the battlefield," Victoria said.

So I summoned Ray. And the two of them left me behind with some elves.

"Hey you, get all the arrows here. Since I’m not busy, I’ll do this at least today," I said.

I asked some elves to get all the arrows they have to me. I will infuse Aura into them.

My Aura won’t last long. So when these arrows are used, I’m sure that my Aura won’t be there anymore.

But I have experienced it with my bullet. Even after a long time since my Aura disappeared, the bullet can still pierce harder object than usual when I didn’t use Aura.

It’s weaker than when my Aura was still inside the bullet. But it’s still stronger than normal bullet.

And I’m going to apply that to all the arrows here. At least the ones that are here.

The Blacksmith has several disciples now who are helping him creating a lot of weapons. And we have a need for a lot of arrows for this and for the future as well.

These are the only arrows we have today. About several thousands of them. The rest can be taken using portal. They’re still on Earth.

"What are you doing?"

The Elf Queen, Tia, Lina’s familiar, asked me.

"I’m infusing Aura into them. They will be sharper than before. So it will be easy to pierce your enemy. My Aura won’t last long, but it will stay sharp for a while after my Aura disappears from the arrow. But the longer it takes, the duller they become. So next time, I’m going to do this again when I have free time," I said.

Then I told her that she can try shooting an arrow. The arrow I gave her was one that I didn’t infuse much Aura and the Aura in there has already dispersed.

Tia shoots the arrow at a tree. But the arrow pierced through the thick tree and pierced several other trees before stopped.

"...That’s amazing."

"Right? I thought that I can make an army of Aura users. But training people to become one is hard. So I will at least make those who fight using weapons can have their weapons imbued with Aura. This way, you all can get stronger. Like getting a buff or something that Victoria said."

Next time the cult sends a group of powerful warriors again, then even if they fight the monsters, the monsters won’t be defeated easily.

Though the Etherstone can still negate the power of Aura inside the weapons. But I don’t think all the warriors will have their body covered with Etherstone armors.

I look at the sky and see a small bird monster who managed to break through the monsters and approaching Angela. I casually threw an arrow I just infused with Aura at it and killed it.

We will have to fight for a long time. I hope Angela will finish early.
