Chapter 1089: The Result of Two Giants Fighting

The two giants took some distance from each other after the Giant Knight kicked him. Then with his right hand holding the huge mace, the Giant Knight lifted it up as he’s going to swing it down toward Crabbe.

Crabbe then raises two of his arms with claws to block that mace. With the shell armor covering his entire body, he managed to do it just fine without getting hurt.

Then with his two free hands, he grabbed the hand of the Giant Knight that holds the mace and pulls it down. Crabbe then removes one of his hands and throws a perfect uppercut to the Giant Knight’s head. Though the Giant Knight doesn’t seem to be hurt at all.

"...Isn’t it dangerous? Obviously for them. But what about us?" Albert asked.

"This place is different than the Arena we used to fight after all. Should we move there? Hey, Black Knights. Do you mind if we move to another place better for fighting?" I asked.

"Is there any good place for that?" the Small Knight asked.

"There is. But it’s right under the sun. So the three of you who have been staying in this dark place for so long might not be able to fight well," I said.

But before the small knight could answer, Tiger whom I brought from the Monsters Village interrupted.

"It should be dark soon in the village. I think it’s fine," Tiger said.

Oh, right. I only use the time near the dungeon here. But when I opened a portal for the monsters to come here, I think the sun would set soon.

"That’s an interesting offer. But I prefer to fight here and die here. I know nothing of the outside world," the Small Knight said.

"I agree with him. The three of us never left this place at all. We will fight here," the Spider Knight said.

"I see. Then I will put up a barrier so the attack of those two won’t reach us," I said.

I looked at the side and see Fabio and Maya sitting next to each other. I can see Maya is slightly frightened even though Georgia is by her side. I guess she can’t imagine Georgia to be able to protect her from the two giants’ attack.

And Maya also brought her other familiar. A panda from the group that just joined the village. Though I didn’t bring the other pandas here because they’re peaceful creatures. The panda with Maya is here because that one is Maya’s familiar. And she wants something to hug.

Anyway, it’s time for me to shine.

As the two giants fight in the middle of this big room, I hold my cane on my hand. Then I dragged the tip of my cane on the ground around the room to make a huge circle.

When I return to where I first started drawing the circle, I connected the line and the ability of the cane is activated. The barrier is now erected as it covers the two fighting giants in the middle. This way, we will all be protected by the barrier.

"Now it’s safer this way. But what if their fight ends early before the barrier’s duration is over?" Albert asked.

"I can now use Aura better than before. I can destroy the barrier if I want to. It will be fine," I said.

Meanwhile, the two Black Knights who are watching are interested in the barrier as they touch it. I even allowed them to attack the barrier with their weapons. And the barrier still stands.

"I think it’s true when you said that you’re the strongest. I wish I can fight you," the Small Knight said.

"Your opponent is me. If you want to fight him, you have to defeat me first," Shelia said.

I guess everyone already has their opponent. Shelia will fight the Small Knight. And it means Graham will face the Spider Knight.

I think Shelia realizes right away that the Small Knight is the strongest among the three in a fight. I also agree with her.

The two giants continued to fight. Ignoring everything that happened in their surrounding area.

The Giant Knight is at advantage. He’s stronger, bigger, and heavier than Crabbe. But Crabbe is not losing.

I guess I underestimated the Black Knights. The other two might be even stronger than that Giant Knight.

The Crab People in the audience cheered for Crabbe. But Crabbe and the Giant Knight ignored them. It’s good that the Giant Knight can focus even with the noise. Because if he somehow got stage fright, then this match will be useless for Crabbe to see how strong he is.

The Giant Knight is good with kicking as well. Kicking and swinging his mace. And Crabbe rarely uses his feet to attack. He prefers to fight with his upper body. His legs are mostly to support his heavy weight.

It means that the Giant Knight has better balance than Crabbe. And Crabbe got pushed because of it.

For some reason, it seems like Crabbe refuses to use his magic. But that’s fine. If that’s what he decides to do, then he can do it.

Maybe because he was surrounded by strong people, Crabbe quickly adapted to the Giant Knight’s way of fighting. And little by little, Crabbe is pushing him back.

"No way! Giant Knight is losing in strength?!"

Thanks to the Giant Knight, Crabbe has now learned to balance himself properly. Now he’s stronger than before.

Crabbe is the biggest Crab Person among the Giant Crab People I brought to the village. There are bigger dragons than him, but there’s no two-legged monster bigger than Crabbe. So he couldn’t learn much about fighting with his giant body other than by overpowering his opponent.

But that’s not the case anymore. With the Giant Knight fighting him, Crabbe has now learned the importance of lower body strength and balance. Although he still can’t kick, he can give more power for his upper body.

Using all his four arms, Crabbe showered the Giant Knight with barrage of punches. The Giant Knight can only protect himself with the mace. But that’s not enough to protect him.

Then the Giant Knight let go of his mace. Blocking Crabbe’s attack with his hands and tries to grab Crabbe’s hands.

He got it. And ignoring the punches from Crabbe’s claws, the Giant Knight then put his hands under Crabbe’s armpits and lifts him up before slamming Crabbe’s body down to the ground.

With how big those two are, the ground shakes. But thanks to Celestine, Kayla, and other earth mages watching, they strengthened the surrounding area so we won’t get buried here.

The Giant Knight then let go of Crabbe and he jumped with his feet aimed at Crabbe’s chest. And so, Crabbe got stomped on the ground. And the shell armor on his chest has cracked. Crabbe himself should feel the pain from that.

The Giant Knight jumped again. But Crabbe rolled to the side to dodge and stood back up again. Holding his chest.

That’s the biggest damage we have seen in this fight. But it’s not over yet. With two giants like that, even one big attack can kill the other instantly.

The fight becomes more brutal after that. Neither of them is holding back. Blood is everywhere. But no one has given up the fight.

"...They both seem so happy," the Small Knight said.

"They can actually fight how they like for the first time. Before, they most likely have to fight opponents smaller than them. But they’re fighting someone similar in size and strength. Even other Crab People are weaker than Crabbe after all. But it seems like it’s going to end soon," I said.

Crabbe’s arms with two claws are different than his two other arms. It’s because unlike the other arms, that one actually don’t have bones. They are held in place only by muscle. So Crabbe can freely move them however he likes.

He then twisted his two arms to the max. Then he thrusts them forward to the Giant Knight. Much like how I twisted Reizpear as much as possible and thrust it so I can have stronger piercing attack.

And so, Graham’s claws pierced the Giant Knight’s body. On his chest and his abdomen.

There’s no way out of that. The Giant Knight is dying. But he smiles happily.

"You. Strong. I’m. Happy. Thank. You."

Using his slow speech, the Giant Knight thanked Crabbe.

"Me too. I grew stronger thanks to you. Thank you."

Then Crabbe pulled his claws back strongly. And just like that, the Giant Knight died.

"The winner is Crabbe!" I said.

Then to show respect to the death knight, everyone in the audience stands up and clapped. He is a knight who deserves that much respect.

The two other Black Knights are happy to see that their friend, the Giant Knight, is respected that much. This is how it should be to those who deserve respect.

"It was a good match. A shame that you chose death over joining us. But we respect your choice," Albert said.

"Thank you. I’m sure it means a lot to him," the Small Knight said.

Then I break the barrier and stand at the middle of the room. Looking at Crabbe who is looking down at the opponent he just killed.

"Master. I want to bury him," Crabbe said.

"Alright. Victoria, a little help."

With Blobbies, she turns them into a big coffin for the Giant Knight. Then we move it to a quiet place near the Monsters Village.

We will have the funeral later. There are two more battles to fight. We might even have two more coffins later. Filled with only Black Knights I hope.
