Chapter 1066: A Clue from Georgia

"Pandas!"

I already got the permission to bring the pandas here. The Monsters Village. And to be safe, I made sure that the pandas are protected with fences. It’s because they have no sense of direction at all.

Seriously, who in the right mind would move to a snowy mountain when they’re out of bamboos? Pandas!

They got lost in the mountain and started eating snow rabbits. But they were fine with eating animals.

The weird thing is how they can avoid dangerous monsters on the way. And the Pink Panda said that they were just lucky.

Also, it’s their innate ability to look cute. That will make other monsters, animals, and humans distracted by their cuteness. Or even charmed. So when they get close, the pandas will cut them with their sharp claws.

"This is the leader. Pink Panda," I said as I pointed at the small panda sitting on my head.

"Hey. I don’t have a name and I won’t bother remembering it. So just call me Pink Panda like he did," Pink Panda said.

"What a deep voice! Now it’s less cute than before," Albert said.

"Now I see why Maya is excited. So, which one is Maya’s familiar? It’s not the Pink Panda, right?" Fabio asked.

"She said that she’s going to pick the cutest one. She hasn’t made any contract yet. You can see her over there looking at every pandas there," I pointed at Maya who is looking at a panda chewing on a bamboo.

The children are happily playing with the pandas as well. They are touching and hugging the creature that loves hug.

"Is it safe for children?" Albert asked. Worried when he saw Alan and Lana playing with some pandas.

"It’s safe. They are creatures that hate fighting even though they can. And now I promised their safety, they are willing to have their claws shaved. Except for Pink Panda. So be careful with him. Other than me, no one have stronger skin that can endure his claws. Even master level mage will be hurt. But other pandas are fine. They not only won’t harm you, they also won’t put strength on their hug. Letting other people hug them however they want. They will just hug with enough strength to not fall off," I explained.

Then Albert grabbed a panda and lifted it up. The panda seems happy with it.

Even old man Henry and Harold is playing with pandas. Cute is justice!

As for Lynn, she’s already buried somewhere by the pandas. Even Claudia, her own aide, is playing with one and ignored her own Empress.

"What about Georgia? Is she okay?" Fabio asked.

"She can reveal eight wings now. As for her memory, I haven’t checked it yet. How about you ask Maya to reveal Georgia’s eight wings and see if she can speak? If she can, then we might learn something new about the cult," I said.

"Okay. Let’s wait until she finds a panda she likes most," Fabio said.

"Have you made a contract with her?" I asked.

I know that even monsters who can’t speak, when they became a familiar, they can still talk with their master. But only using telepathy. But it seems it depends on the monster’s condition as well. Because she can’t use telepathy with Georgia.

Wait, I think I can only use telepathy when I’m advanced level at least. She did it while she’s an intermediate level? I guess she’s better than me. And probably will be able to reach the next level quickly as well.

"Maya, don’t bring her home yet. Let her stay here for a while to recover their health. All the pandas here are malnourished. They need to gain some weight to be healthy again," I said. This time, as a doctor.

"Do it. Once we see her full of pain, tell her to stop. Graham, just stay there and don’t do anything. Kayla, keep using healing magic on her at all time. Your strongest healing magic," I said.

Obviously, we didn’t do it where the pandas were. There are kids there. So we do it far from there.

And soon, Georgia revealed all her wings. And she felt pain in her head. But it was not as painful as before when Maya was just a beginner level summoner. Also, maybe Kayla’s healing is helpful.

Graham wanted to stop us. But he knows how important this is so he just stood there while clenching his fist.

"Georgia, tell me everything you can tell about the people who captured you!" Maya asked Georgia. If it’s her, she’s more likely to get Georgia to talk.
