Chapter 1048: Slave Trading Organization

"So, who are you guys really? For you to dare pretending to be members of my clan, you sure have a lot of guts. Tell me," I asked.

There are still five of them. I should have killed one so they won’t dare to fight back. I don’t think I need to do that. They saw me splitting the Salamander in half.

So, these five are from a certain organization for trading slaves. But they should be illegal, right?

The five people were shocked that they’re in front of a King already. Then I just throw them one by one. The agent who brought the Guild Master didn’t say anything. He’s also a master level mage, so no one here other than me and Fabio can challenge him.

Then the centaur and I entered the room. With me riding the centaur. The ceiling is quite high, so we can fit.

"Fabio, they said that the one in charge of this whole operation is a Marquis. Though for the operation in the capital, it was mostly the Guild Master’s decision since he’s in that organization already," I said.

By this time, Fabio’s hand stopped writing and he’s looking at the Guild Master.

"At least these five people believe so."

It was the centaur who said that.

The guy I brought tried to complain that he’s still useful and don’t want to die. But Fabio clearly objected to that before he can say much.

"You’re pretending to be from Wolf’s Crown. A clan whose leader is my benefactor. The one who helped Arturo to regain its glory from the cult. It’s actually the former Guild Master that I want dead. But he’s more useful than you all. There’s something I want to do soon, so I have to get rid of any trouble right away. Then I removed all their collars. They quickly tried to escape. But they were blocked by weretigers.

"Who are they?" Pawzer asked me.

"I know. But if they dare to pretend to be my people, they should be smart enough to think of a way to fight them. It’s not much, but this could be a great practice for them. And I don’t need to worry since you can protect them if these guys somehow ended up to be stronger than expected," I said.

"I didn’t say that I will do it though," Pawzer said with a smile.

Then I returned back to Fabio’s office. Toni is already there with a plan to arrest the Marquis.

"Then I’ll just pretend to be one of the soldiers and look for the slaves in the city. Even if you have master level mages, with me around, it will be faster to look for the slaves," I said.

"You can go once you’re ready. And Roy, don’t tire yourself out. You still have to train Maya," Fabio said.
