The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 1036: He was Trained Differently

Chapter 1036: He was Trained Differently

I’m facing the powerful mage who could follow Pawzer’s speed. The one whom Pawzer was afraid of. I’m sure he’s much stronger than anyone I have ever faced. Maybe he’s even around the same level as Timmy.

This mage is not a master level mage. And from how it felt, I don’t think he has reached the stage beyond master level like Timmy did. But he should be very close to that level.

Also, someone whose magic level is higher doesn’t mean that they will win in a fight even if it’s against someone who is on a lower level than him. Just like how we usually did long before any of us reached master level.

Thanks to the knowledge from the future about magic control, many of us could become stronger than someone who is higher level than us. And just like that, this guy could even be stronger than Timmy.

Well, I doubt he is that strong in physical ability. From his muscles, his body movement, and his awareness of his surrounding, he’s good in close combat. Probably I’m stronger than him.

But if he combines his magic, then he could be stronger than me.

He’s quite similar to the Archbishop. The Archbishop was also a wind mage and lightning mage. Both elements have reached master level.

But while that guy was a summoner, this guy is a tamer. At least that’s what I think. Because he said tamed instead of making a contract with the Kaiser Tortoise.

It’s a good thing. Because unlike summoner, tamer can’t open up a portal. So even if they ask for help, it will take time until the help arrives.

Then about strength. This guy’s magic is many times stronger than the Archbishop’s magic even though they are both at the same level.

Maybe he also learned magic control. But he just never told anyone about it.

’Everyone. I’m facing the guy that Pawzer is afraid of with Andro. If you’re in a middle of a battle, please end it as soon as possible and just support the others while being prepared to be summoned. Crabbe, you can ignore this order and focus on continuing your search of the Kaiser Whale. And Shelia, I don’t think I need to say it. But if you’re done with your battle and want to come, you can come right away even if I don’t summon you. But remember that it won’t be a one on one battle,’ I said to my familiars via telepathy.

Shelia is still busy fighting. And Graham, even if he’s not fighting, he should be busy healing our allies.

Crabbe is busy and it’s best for him to continue his search instead of coming here. And for the duo Victoria and Ray, I think they will be the one I call first in case my opponent is too strong.

Wind magic and lightning magic. They are both fast magic. So I might need Ray’s speed. And if Ray is here, Victoria can’t fight on her own. So I will summon both of them once they’re done fighting. They are still busy.

But I already have someone who can help me right now. Andro the Kaiser Dragon. He will help me fighting this mage and the Kaiser Tortoise. And I hope that the mage’s other tamed monsters won’t come here soon.

"Are you done talking with your familiars?" the mage asked me.

"What about you? I know that you tried the same," I said.

"They’re all busy with everything that you caused today. Just how did you gain so many allies? Both humans and monsters alike," he asked.

"I just have the charm to seduce both humans and monsters. And from what I see, you don’t. That’s why you need your taming magic," I said.

"I don’t understand what you mean," he said.

"It means you’re ugly. And I’m not," I said.

"But you’re the one whose face is covered."

"It’s because if I don’t, everyone will flock around me because of how handsome I am. It helps with making you guys don’t want to kill me. But there are more troubles with removing my helmet than the benefits," I said.

Is he trying to make me remove my helmet? I don’t think I will ever do that.

"Then I guess I just have to remove it forcefully."

As soon as he said that, I swung my swords horizontally. Because the invisible monster nearby was approaching me from my right.

"Being unseen and undetected is different. It’s easy for me to detect someone approaching me. Especially while we’re in the air," I said.

Right now, I’m standing on Andro’s head while the mage is flying in front of us. And while we were talking, an invisible monster was approaching. This one can fly. Thanks to the movement of the wind, it was easy for me to find his location even without Divine Vision.

"I guess I can’t rely on my monsters then."

As soon as he said that, he used his wind magic to fly toward me. He’s a bit slower than Ray and Spot so I can still see his movement.

But he’s trying to have a close combat battle against me? I don’t think so. Unless he’s only trying to test my strength.

I accepted the challenge.

"Andro, focus on the tortoise! Try to dodge if he’s trying to attack you again!"

"Okay!" Andro replied.

Meanwhile, I run toward the mage and swung my sword. My sword hits his dagger. And I can finally feel his strength.

I used Aura to cover my body and improve my strength. As for my sword, it doesn’t work as it is touching the dagger. But I should be the stronger one.

Though the result was surprising. Because the mage actually managed to block it well. And he’s only using a dagger.

He’s different than the previous warriors. He’s something else.

Also, that one hit reduced the durability of my sword. It was forged by the Blacksmith. But it couldn’t withstand the attack from an Etherstone dagger. That dagger is stronger than other Etherstone weapons I saw.

It doesn’t show on the outside. But I can see that the core of my sword is slightly damaged. I can’t use this for long.

"That was surprising. I need a new weapon after this," I said as I threw my sword away and grabbed Reizpear from my pocket.

If the sword is broken, then a magic spear with the ability to repair itself is a better choice.

"You’re stronger than I expected. I can see now why I was told many times to be wary against Aura users," he said.

"And you’re different than the previous warriors I fought. They said that they were trained to fight Aura users. But from that clash, I can tell that you didn’t have the same training. Instead of being raised to fight an Aura user, you were trained to be an Aura user, right?" I asked.

I know that. Because I can feel that his clash before is not to stall for time or to kill me. But it was a simple test of strength.

Would someone do that in a battle especially when we’re enemies? I don’t think so.

So how do I know that he was trained to be an Aura user? Because from what Victoria told me about Aura user, and also from Sonia as well, there’s only one goal that most Aura user has in common. It’s to be the strongest Aura user. Training their Aura and improving them in any situation.

I don’t think I want to be the strongest. But I do want to be stronger. And improving my Aura and skills from battle is normal.

For this guy, I felt his desire for strength in that one clash. So I’m sure of it.

"...You’re right. Aura users are people that we have to be afraid of. So someone thought that it would be great if they are our allies instead. But in the end, we failed. Because no one knows how to be an Aura user. But we still hoped that one day, we can become an Aura user," he said.

I was just lucky that I have the talent as an Aura user. It’s very rare already for people to have the talent to become one. But I have it.

And I heard from Victoria and Sonia’s master that no matter how hard someone tried, if they don’t have the talent, then they will never become one. So they might not have the talent.

But there’s also a chance that he has talent. And it will only develop at a much later stage of his life.

I don’t want that. I love being the only person in the world who can use Aura. And it’s also dangerous if we let people like him continue to live.

"The Evil God or whoever you called him to be is afraid of Aura user. And you know that. Even if you become an Aura user, he will kill you in the end. Has there ever been someone you trained with to be suddenly missing or dead?" I asked.

I see through his body and checked his heartbeat. And it skipped a beat when I asked him that question.

He didn’t say anything. But from his reaction, I think I can assume that there has been at least one person to become an Aura user. But he was killed without anyone knowing.

Then if there are other Aura users, they might keep it as secret. And there might be some Aura users existing right now other than me.

Well, seems like I found out something rather disturbing. I need to tell the others. But after I kill this guy.
