Chapter 1029: Moving to the Tortoise

Suicide attack doesn’t work on me. Actually, it works for me.

After all, the attackers will all die whether they succeed or fail in the attack. And I’m a strong Aura Master. So it’s obvious that their suicide attack will fail. And they will die without achieving their purpose.

I just need to avoid the explosion. And they ended up killing themselves. How stupid. How easy.

I looked at the others. And when they saw me being surrounded, they didn’t even bother to come and help. Because they know from what they see that the enemies are just wasting their lives. So there is no need for them to help.

They will die anyway. Let’s ignore them and focus on our battle. That must be what they’re thinking.

The armor I have is a magic armor. It uses mana to transform from a simple accessory into a full armor. But it’s pretty durable.

I tried asking the Blacksmith to fix the broken parts. But it was difficult for him as he only can fix and create normal weapons and armors. Not magic weapon or even Aura weapon.

So if I want to cover those places, I just used Blobbies. Though I never needed to since the armor is mainly to cover my appearance. Not to protect my body.

Although that should be its main use as armor, it’s not that useful. In fact, I can fight better without them on. Or I can simply use Blobbyarmor.

But it’s useful in case I’m out of Blobbies or Victoria is not with me. So I kept using it and got used to it.

For protecting myself from the explosion caused by the suicidal enemies, I covered my armor with Aura. Then for an extra protection, I covered the outer part of my armor with air magic. So in case the explosion got closer, I could alter the direction of the explosion with air blast. Using air pressure and release it when there’s an explosion.

There’s nothing they can do against me. They are not strong enough.

Maybe a stronger master level mage can fight evenly against me. But I don’t think they have any.

As for the mage beyond the stage of master level, I don’t know. I only have experience fighting one. And I don’t think he used his full strength.

But since there’s no one at that stage here, I can win. Though it also means that this place is not their main base.

Again, we have to search for them after this. Are they inside the tortoise? I have to look over there.

As I continued fighting, I feel vibration in my pocket. It’s my phone. And I got a text from someone.

I used magic to check on the message. This way, I don’t need to take out my phone.

It’s from Kayla inside the tortoise. She’s having a bit of problem over there.

I guess I have to help her. So I quickly kill everyone in one direction and run through the enemies before they could get close again.

"Graham, swap!" I said as I run toward Graham.

Then he used light magic. It’s already bright as it is noon. But his light magic is still blinding for everyone.

And at the same time he uses his light magic, I opened a portal to where Kayla was. She’s alone as she waited for me.

I closed the portal. And the last thing I saw before I closed it was Graham and some other angels use the chance to kill the enemies while they are still blinded from the light.

"Okay, what’s the emergency?" I asked Kayla.

"We found the one who could follow Pawzer’s speed. But there are other strong mages as well. They are stronger than average master level mages. We could handle them but we will end up exhausting ourselves. This is still the enemy territory. So we have to avoid that," Kayla said.

"Oh, so those people who noticed me coming here are the strong mages you said. What about the one who could follow Pawzer’s speed?" I asked.

"Shelia is fighting him at the moment. I think we can let her handle it," Kayla said.

I checked more about the surrounding for a few seconds. This is inside the tortoise.

I can’t see the sky. It was blocked by the shell. But there are other sources of light.

I checked the ground. Since this place was inside the tortoise, I thought that it would be impossible for earth mage to use their magic. But it seems to be fine. After all, this place has been modified. And there are a lot of rocks and metals that Kayla and other earth mages can use.

"Kayla, five of the strong ones seems to be coming here. Do you need anything?" I asked.

"Open a portal to anywhere with soil. I still have the wand from back then," Kayla said.

The wand she mentioned is the wand that can carry a lot of soil without becoming heavy. A wand that even Kayla could carry when she was not as strong as she is now.

If at least one of them chose to fight Kayla instead, then she will have to fight two people. But if there is more than one, then I will stop them. Let’s just get Kayla to fight two people at once if that happens.

Though I won’t let it happen so easily. I’ll fight four people at once.

When they can finally see me, they recognize me as the Aura user because of my armor.

"The werewolf is fighting. And there are reports of the angels, living armor, and the horse. So the crab must be here somewhere in hiding. We can look for the crab later. The Aura user is our main target," one of them who seem to be the leader of this group said.

Two of them are flying while the other three ran here very fast.

I can’t let Kayla fight the ones who can fly. And it seems like Kayla has chosen her opponent.

"I’ll take the leader. You will fight the others," she said.

"Okay. Let’s do it!"

Soon after we decided who we will fight, there’s an earthquake.

Wait, this is inside the tortoise. So there shouldn’t be an earthquake happening.

It must be Andro. He’s hitting the tortoise again with his breath attack. Making everything shake as if there’s an earthquake.

I’m fine because I have good balance. And Kayla who trained a lot with Pawzer also the same.

The enemies on the ground couldn’t balance themselves quickly. While those who fly decided to attack me.

I dodged their wind magic and returned with a slash from long distance. But they dodged my attack.

As expected, this attack is slower than my normal attack. And maybe the enemies have enough fighting experience to dodge my attack.

They must be stronger than average master level mages. But it doesn’t matter to me. My job is to kill them all.

I quickly grabbed the other two enemies who just managed to balance themselves on the ground, and threw them to the wind mages. Hitting the wind mages with their body.

All four of them were thrown quite far from here. This way, they won’t bother Kayla’s battle.

"I’ll leave him to you," I said to Kayla before leaving.

"Okay."

The one who used that fire magic was one of the wind mages. It seems like they are the strong ones who have reached master level in at least two elements.

It doesn’t matter. They are not strong enough to kill me.
