Chapter 1027: Monsters with Etherstone Weapons

"Spot, they have sky serpents as well. They’re as huge as you. Can you and your children take care of them?" I asked Spot.

"Easy. Even if they’re as big as me, I don’t think my children will be weaker than them. I’ll get rid of them. You take care of yourself," Spot said.

So I jumped from his back to the top of the mountain. And many of the mages from the mountain attacked me using magic.

Well, they are not that strong. So I just sliced their magic with my sword as I looked back to the sky. To Spot and his children who are fighting other sky serpents. With one of the sky serpents has someone riding on top of it.

Spot’s children are actually more of sea serpents than sky serpents. They are only a quarter sky serpent as Spot is just half sky serpent.

But in the end, they are monsters. Their growth rate is impossible to predict.

Even Spot’s children who could only swim and fight from water can now fly in the sky. Not only that, each one of them could handle two sky serpents at once. With each sky serpent is as big as Spot’s original size.

Well, it actually took about a tenth of a second. Still slower than Pawzer. But at least my acceleration speed and my speed in short distance is the second best compared to everyone else. Even Spot or Ray.

As soon as I landed on the mountain, I swung my sword horizontally. Spinning around like a top as I slashed everyone around me within ten meters. None survived. And those who are farther than ten meters from me dodged, but I purposely didn’t attack that far. Because I know that they can react fast enough to dodge them.

Most of the mages here are master level. Seriously, if they had just attacked Earth with their full force, they would have won right away. But they sure took their time.

My guess is that these master level mages actually in this world to conquer it as conquering the Earth will be much easier. And the monsters here are actually stronger than expected.

If that’s the case, then where are the strong monsters that the master level mages can’t handle? Is it the Kaiser Tortoise?

When I killed the decoy, he already prepared his summoning magic. And four monsters appeared around me at the same time to surround me.

An ape monster, a lizardman, an orc, and a Cyclops. All of them are strong. I guess they’re all the king of their tribes.

All are humanoids. This means that they have two legs and two arms. And each of them carried a weapon made of Etherstone.

The ape carrying a sword. The lizardman carried a spear. The orc carried an axe. And the Cyclops carried a club. All of the weapons are made of Etherstone.

I guess this is their plan to get rid of me, the Aura user. I have to kill them quick.

The ape and the lizardman seem to be the most agile and will probably be the most difficult one to fight. So I targeted them first.

When I was running toward the ape, the lizardman thrust its spear at me to block me. But as long as those Etherstone didn’t touch me, I can still use Aura. So I quickly changed my stance and thrust my sword at the lizardman. Even though my sword is shorter than its spear, I can use long-distance attack as long as my Aura is not blocked. And my attacked pierced its brain.

The ape was quick. It tried to attack me when I changed my target. But it’s still slower than me. Thanks to that, I can counter its move and kill the ape. Two more to go.

"...He’s too strong," someone said.

"As long as the metal can touch him, he won’t be able to use his Aura. We only need a moment of openi—"

Before he finished his words, I killed him. I threw the spear made of Etherstone at him. Even if my Aura is blocked, I’m still a master level summoner who has trained my body. Without Aura, I can kill any master level mage if it’s just physical battle.

I also grabbed the sword from the ape I killed. Even though the weapons are rough around the edge, they are good because of the material. I should bring them to the Blacksmith and make these weapons even better.

I sheathed my sword and only fight using the Etherstone sword against the orc and the Cyclops. They are weak and have no skill at all. But they are strong, so it took some time until I killed the orc.

"H-how did he kill the orc when he’s holding that sword? Isn’t he supposed to be unable to use Aura anymore?" someone panicked.

"Don’t forget that he’s still a master level summoner. And we don’t know where his familiars are. But it’s good that he’s using that sword. While he can’t use Aura, let’s kill him!"

Aura user use weapon to fight. They are not as good when they are unarmed. And even more if their use of Aura is blocked. I guess that’s how they were taught.

Did they forget what happened a few minutes ago? I threw a spear at someone. And I can do it now again.

So I threw the Etherstone sword toward someone after I dodged the Cyclops’ attack. Then I unsheathed my sword and cut off the Cyclops’ neck before I continued with my killing spree.

So easy. Many things that they learned about Aura were useless. I’m just so strong. Far beyond their common sense.

Then suddenly, someone leaped forward after he took the sword I threw before. A master level mage who is decent at swordsmanship.

"I’ll be the vanguard with this sword! Kill us both with your magic!" he shouted to his allies.

People always forgot something. And right now, everyone here forgot that I’m an air mage.

So I took the gun I prepared hidden on my back and aimed at the guy with the sword.

"...Fuck."

And he died with a hole in his forehead. Then I continued fighting with a gun on my left and my sword in my right.

If they want to block my Aura, they have to use better means. This is not enough to kill me.

The battle here is progressing nicely. There are a lot of strong enemies so I think it will take some time until I can help with the other side.

So far, they haven’t asked for reinforcement yet. I hope they are doing fine over there.
