Chapter 1020: Two Weeks After Training

Chapter 1020: Two Weeks After Training

Two weeks have passed since we started training with Pawzer. And there’s finally a battle happening on Earth. That’s what Albert told me.

The scale of the battle is rather huge, so the kings asked me if I could bring the others back so they can fight. So I agreed.

We have gotten stronger in the past two weeks. And now that we got the news about a huge battle, we can’t ignore it. Especially since this is also a chance for me to take a break from training with Pawzer.

"Everyone, get some rest for a bit! There’s a huge battle happening around Consenza. They need our help. If you don’t want to participate, you can stay here and continue training," I said.

In the end, none of them stayed behind. They’re all tired from having to fight Pawzer for two weeks. And seriously, does Pawzer’s stamina have no limit?

Pawzer barely rested. At least he slept when everyone here has been knocked unconscious by him. I noticed that when I woke up earlier than the others. And Pawzer quickly noticed that I was awake so he knocked me out right away.

I don’t remember how many times I have been knocked unconscious. But I know for a fact that in the past two weeks, there’s no bone in my body that hasn’t been broken or at least fractured. Even my skull was fractured after Pawzer kicked my head.

The others were better. None of them got Pawzer to use his full strength to hit them. So they never got themselves injured that badly. Only I and some strong monsters had to get Pawzer hit us that strong.

Now that I have the chance to relieve my stress by battle, I have to do it. Or I will really go crazy after fighting Pawzer for two weeks already.

Everyone should be thinking the same. Including even Shirley. Though Shirley and the other monsters didn’t think the same thing as I do.

They’re thinking that they hadn’t grown that much stronger after fighting Pawzer for two weeks. It’s because they had never seen the result at all. So they want to check if fighting Pawzer really made them stronger or not.

"Alright, we can pause the training now. Angels and the healers can heal everyone and restore their stamina," Pawzer said.

Many of us sighed in relief after hearing that the training will be stopped. Really, the only time that we didn’t train was when we’re eating. We didn’t even sleep. We just got ourselves knocked out unconscious.

After preparing ourselves for fifteen minutes, we’re finally ready.

"Claudia said that the battle only happened in Consenza. Near a big city there. With the number of the enemy roughly reached a hundred thousand. It has been one hour, but the mages there barely managed to protect the city. They can’t hold it for much longer, so we will help them. Any question? If no, then we will go there right away," I said.

Seeing that there’s no one asking anything, I opened a portal and all of us rushed into the battle. With me already wearing my armor.

I’m on my own. Victoria will fight while riding Ray.

As soon as we arrived in Consenza, we quickly spread everywhere and fight anyone we could see.

That’s it. That’s what we do.

No plan at all other than fighting anyone we see and spread all over the location to protect the city.

Simple. But it’s effective even against thousands of master level mages.

"HRAAAARGH!!!"

"DIE, YOU BASTARD!"

"KILL, KILL, KILL!!!

The only thing that we didn’t plan is our shouts. Or should I say war cry?

Everyone is truly here to relieve their stress rather than protecting the city. And they have the right to do so.

After two weeks of being tortured by Pawzer in the name of training, we had to do something that can relieve our stress. And not just that, we also need to gain the confidence that we are not weak. It’s just that Pawzer is much stronger than us.

Even I shouted so loud that the mages from Consenza were afraid of me. And I can see Kayla who even though she’s silent, she’s using earth magic to kill as many as possible.

And the one who play the most active role is Celestine. I guess it’s because this is her home country.

"Don’t leave a single one of them alive! There’s no need to get more prisoners!" I shouted.

""OOOOOOOOHHH!!!""

One hour since the battle started, and we finally arrived. Then thirty minutes after we arrived, the battle is over with overwhelming victory on our side.

Everyone, especially the monsters that came here after training, looked at each other. And they finally realized that they truly have grown stronger.

Even the mages are stronger now. Although their physical abilities didn’t grow as much as the monsters, their ability to think of the magic they need to use has become much faster than before. Even though the strength of their magic is not that different, just by increasing the speed of your thinking is already an amazing result. Though with how fast they cast their magic, they’re still unable to hit Pawzer even once.

"Oh no!"

Now I realized something. And Kayla and the others looked at me after they suddenly heard me screaming.

"We finished the enemy too fast! Now we have to return to the village right away!" I explained why I screamed.

We were just so happy that we have seen the result of our training. But the thought that we have to return back to training made us feel depressed.

We really should have taken our time fighting the enemy. Not finishing them right away.

"It’s okay. He shouldn’t have known that we defeated the enemies right away. When we return, we can say that the battle took longer than we thought. That’s why we’re late," Victoria suggested.

That’s nice. And when we thought that we’re going to do that, Pawzer suddenly appeared in front of us.

"That won’t work. You have to return right away. By the way, I entered the portal while Roy didn’t pay attention to me."

...I’m going back to hell it seems.

"I have watched you guys fight the enemies. And I saw how you were so happy just after defeating those weaklings. To make sure that you won’t be overconfident about your own strength, you will have to return to training right away," Pawzer said.

Then he looked at me as if saying that I have to open up a portal right away. So I did.

But I also see that he has some foods, human foods, in his hands. Seems like he enjoyed his time in this world.

"I need to stay behind and tell Lynn about the battle. I’ll return later," Celestine said.

"And I will go with her! I also have to pay for the trouble you caused!" I jumped into the chance to return to training later.

"What trouble?" Pawzer asked.

"That you get those foods but you didn’t pay them, right? So I will pay for them," I said.

"Let Celestine do that. You can open another portal to her destination while you will return back to training. Then you can pick her up after you regained your consciousness," Pawzer said.

...Seems like my fate to be knocked out won’t stop today.

I opened another portal to Lynn’s location while holding back my tears. Then after everyone entered, Pawzer kicked me into the portal to the village before he entered himself.

After he kicked me, the portal should be closing. But Pawzer was fast enough to enter after he kicked me. I still can’t fathom how fast he really is.

"Now then, who will come first?"

Who? It’s kind of obvious right now.

After relieving our stress, we have to return back to a stressful environment right away. So even without communicating, we know who will fight Pawzer first.

""It will be all of us!""

With our experience fighting together, we worked together just to make sure that we can hit Pawzer at least once. It doesn’t matter who. Just once is enough.

"Heh, you’re not fast enough though," Pawzer said as he was about to punch Victoria who reached him first as she was riding Ray.

But I can move fast as well. Not as fast as him, but it’s still fast enough to block his fist with Reizpear.

"As expected of Roy. The one who grow the fastest here. But it’s still not enough," Pawzer said.

Then he dodged everyone’s attack and hit us back. He’s fast as usual.

We needed only thirty minutes to fight a hundred thousand enemies. But against Pawzer alone, we lost in five minutes. And I was the last one standing.

My role is not to attack him. But it should be to protect the others while they attacked him. But I failed. And none of our attack reached him.

"Go get some sleep."

That’s what Pawzer said before he knocked me out. And again, I was unable to do anything against him. What a monster he is.
