The Handbook for Completing Demi-Human Girls

Chapter 764: A New Chapter

Chapter 764: A New Chapter

The earth-shattering war that occurred in the Spirit World had reached a point where even the obstruction of the Crevice couldn't entirely eliminate the impact, making the living beings still within the Crevice inevitably look up, seeking to discover exactly what had happened.

Entering their eyes, was a patch of golden light dazzling to the extreme.

"What is that?"

"In the sky, look at the sky!"

"So bright..."

"Crack crack crack..."

Raphaela, clutching the scorching Dragon Blood Longspear, walked out of the Demon Dynasty's door. The extremely dazzling golden light in the sky made her momentarily somewhat unable to open her eyes.

To suppress the dizziness, she raised a claw to slightly block her vision, yet she seemingly felt something from the unseen world, making her unavoidably clutch her chest, feeling the palpitations welling up from within.

"..."

And behind her, Valentiina also perceived that extremely dazzling golden light in the sky. She seemingly also similarly felt that identical unease with Raphaela. She hurriedly turned back to look behind, asking Tao Gong,"Tao Gong, we already killed that avatar of the so-called Ocean, has it already... succeeded?"

Tao Gong walked into the wilderness of the Southern Continent, looking up at that sky, murmuring,

"I... I don't know... but, I suddenly can't hear the Chief God's voice, no matter how I call there is no response... As for what exactly happened..."

"Buzz..."

After speaking, outside the Spirit World, following the final complete mending of the Barrier, that extremely dazzling golden light fiercely let out a booming sound. The entire firmament regained normalcy in the next moment, solely as if possessing a bit more moisture...

"Splatter..."

"Pitter-patter... pitter-patter..."

The entire firmament was very quickly covered by dark clouds. Water vapor rallied mid-air, and rain fell pattering down, pattering upon the Southern Continent's land gradually entering summer.

Solitarily, the Raphaela and the others standing here didn't know, it wasn't solely the Southern Continent, but rather it was more like the entire world was covered in this sky-filling curtain of rain.

It was raining.

Raphaela raised her head. A pair of bright horns appeared exceptionally conspicuous amidst the rain curtain. She merely gazed at the currently exceptionally tranquil sky, not knowing what she was thinking.

The Tao Gong behind unavoidably furrowed her brows as well. Nervously she attempted to establish contact with the Spirit World, yet over there remained constantly tranquil without the slightest echo, making her also increasingly uneasy.

"Regardless of what, I'll send you back first, then I will personally go to the Spirit World to see what exactly is going on now..."

After repeatedly attempting, Tao Gong turned her head back and spoke like so to Valentiina and Raphaela.

Amidst the rain curtain, Valentiina's long white hair was somewhat drenched. She opened her mouth, just about to say something, yet a burst of an explosive sound abruptly transmitted from the sky, from there transmitted an extremely powerful aura.

Tao Gong hurriedly looked up, subsequently flew up, rushing toward that direction,

"You stay here, I'll go see what's going on!"

"Tao Gong!"

Valentiina stretched her wings, subconsciously wanting to chase after, yet the Alajina behind hurriedly called out to her,

"Miss Valentiina, wait a moment!"

"What's wrong?"

Valentiina turned her head back. Only then did she see Raphaela clutching her chest with a pale face, kneeling on the ground, seemingly looking very uncomfortable.

Valentiina's eye pupils shrunk. Not caring about anything else either, she hurriedly flew back to Raphaela's side.

Although her heart was extremely concerned, due to her youth, she appeared extremely at a loss,

"You... you're alright right, Miss Raphaela... is... is there somewhere uncomfortable? I'll take you back to the Dragon Court right now."

"No... I..."

Raphaela clutched her chest, lowering her head and murmuring,

"I'll just stay here... I merely suddenly felt, as if some bad thing has happened."

"Bad thing?"

Valentiina was slightly stunned. She was momentarily speechless, because Raphaela's words perfectly hit upon a certain feeling within her inner heart.

She looked toward Alajina somewhat astonishedly, yet found she also had a look of lingering trepidation. Only at this time did Valentiina confirm that the previous feeling wasn't an illusion.

"Could it be Fisher?"

Valentiina's fragrant lips trembled slightly, pushing that unbelievable thought out and saying it.

"Rumble..."

The rain curtain in the sky gradually thickened. The three of them stood stiffly amidst the rain curtain just like this, no one daring to verify this guess.

However, no matter how they recoiled, there would always be someone to toll this death knell.

At this moment behind them, that powerful aura gradually approached under Tao Gong's lead.

Valentiina hurriedly turned her head back. She then saw behind the ugly-faced Tao Gong followed two Whale-people, a man and a woman. It was exactly Xuan Can and Gou Wen returning from the Spirit World. The unconscious Jasmine was also embraced within Xuan Can's bosom.

"Uncle, Auntie... Jasmine!"

Upon seeing Jasmine return safely, the somewhat absent-minded Raphaela finally relaxed her inner heart a bit. She hurriedly struggled to stand up and ran toward Xuan Can.

And Xuan Can also slowly put Jasmine down, letting Raphaela verify the condition of this good friend of hers. Simultaneously, she also said,

"Rest assured, Jasmine she... has no major issues."

"That's great... that's great..."

Raphaela nodded. After confirming Jasmine merely fainted, she finally let out a sigh of relief, speaking rejoicingly like so.

While the Tao Gong on the side didn't look too good, yet she still sighed, saying,

"There's another piece of good news... Now, everything has ended."

"Everything has ended?"

Alajina was slightly stunned, murmuring like so.

"Ah, those invaders who invaded this world have all already left this world. Even the gap in the Barrier has been repaired... You might find it somewhat hard to understand, in short, this also means afterwards everyone of us can relax."

Valentiina looked at the Tao Gong announcing such glad tidings yet with an expression like losing her parents. The unease within her heart constantly spread, ultimately making her unable to restrain herself anymore and asked the question Raphaela and Alajina cared about most right now,

"Then what about Fisher?"

Tao Gong didn't say a word, merely turn her head back to glance at the Xuan Can and Gou Wen couple behind her, seemingly wishing to let them say something. As a result, the two of them didn't say a single word, making Tao Gong's face even stinkier.

Helplessly, she rubbed her temples, ultimately saying, giving up on herself,

"In order to mend the Barrier, he was left outside the world, very likely already unable to return. Furthermore, it's not solely him, the Chief Gods who created this world, similarly all perished in order to mend the Barrier as well."

Tao Gong's gaze was complicated. To an ancient Mythical Species like her, Chief Gods were intimate existences akin to ancestors. At this moment, the powerful existences that forged this world had already all departed, unexpectedly making her also feel bewildered.

"This world... from now on solitarily has its creations, and won't see its masters anymore."

But whether it was Alajina, Valentiina or Raphaela, at this moment their eye pupils all shrunk bit by bit. Evidently, they were already unable to hear other sounds anymore.

"You... what did you say..."

Only after a long while, did Valentiina squeeze out this shriveled voice from her throat.

"..."

"Tao Gong... you... what did you say? Say it again, what left outside the world, outside the Barrier... I... I don't understand, what does it mean? What does it mean Fisher cannot return?"

Helplessly hugging her arms, Tao Gong's tone was increasingly irritable and helpless,

"...I should have just let you guys go up together and listen to them speak just now, how... how do you want me to explain this? You two say something!"

Xuan Can sighed helplessly. Holding the Jasmine in her bosom, she told Raphaela and the others extremely apologetically,

"Very sorry, we weren't of any help in the Spirit World... Until prior to the final moment, we all didn't know Fisher stayed outside in order to mend the Barrier. We were also told everything from the moon... He sacrificed everything to protect you and Jasmine, while we failed to protect him well, truly sorry."

Gou Wen gently took out a ball of bright, translucent, pure substance from his bosom. That was, a pure soul taken out from the Sea of Souls.

He looked at the Raphaela kneeling on the ground, gently saying,

"Fisher told me previously, he went to the Spirit World to retrieve the soul to let the child be born for you. He is not here, it can only be retrieved by me acting on his behalf... sorry."

Raphaela blankly looked at that pure, flawless soul resting in Gou Wen's hands. She seemingly felt the craving for it from the life gestating in her belly.

She opened her mouth, just about to say something, do something.

Yet the piercing pain within her inner heart made her brain faint as if pierced by a steel awl. In the next moment, she fell limply cleanly to the ground like strength was unrestrainedly unloaded.

"Raphaela!"

"Raphaela, are you alright!"

"Quickly support her up..."

Fisher could never return anymore.

This news transmitted to the Golden Palace half a month ago. However, Isabel who got the news stayed constantly hesitant, never taking a single step into the depths of the Golden Palace.

The Naris at this moment was still in the arduous process of rebuilding. From top to bottom across the country constantly compared her with her elder sister. The lingering sentiments of dissatisfaction made her, this acting queen holding state power, struggle to move forward.

And nobody in the entire country knew her hardship. Outside Naris, without Elizabeth's iron wrist, the retribution brought by previous actions continued ceaselessly. Fortunately, Elizabeth personally issued an abdication edict, only then making the difficulties Isabel faced slightly fewer.

If there were some things she didn't understand, how to balance domestic powers, how to act next, inquiring with the elder sister currently residing deep within the Golden Palace could always yield an answer.

It was merely that apart from this, Elizabeth no longer inquired about anything, waiting for death deep within the Golden Palace exactly like a corpse rapidly approaching the grave...

But perhaps, only Isabel knew, her elder sister might still be waiting for another existence apart from death to knock on her door.

That person was undoubtedly Fisher.

Hence at this moment, when she received the personal letter transmitted from the Southern Continent along with the news that the Dragon Queen fell seriously ill and was currently arduously recuperating, she very quickly realized, the content within this letter could absolutely not be informed to her elder sister. Otherwise she would probably forever lose this elder sister within a mere few days.

At this moment, Isabel's face carried exhaustion formed due to internal and external pressure. Sitting on the office chair Elizabeth once handled government affairs on, she conflictedly unfurled that letter anew, her gaze also locking onto the content on that letter anew,

"Please respectfully inform Miss Elizabeth Gothrin regarding Fisher's current situation. She once had contact with outer deities, perhaps she can aid us in heading outside to bring Fisher back..."

"Sigh, but, how dare I tell Elder Sister about this matter..."

Isabel probed obliquely regarding the situation outside the Barrier, but what she got was an almost despairing response from Elizabeth.

Outside was the hometown of all chaos, the ultimate abyss difficult to explore...

This was Elizabeth's response.

If she were to be let known Fisher was outside at this moment, his life or death unknown, then...

"Sigh..."

Isabel let out a long breath, looking toward a certain direction of the Golden Palace.

Deep in that direction, within a quiet and remote gloomy palace hall, deep within chamber layered with knights guarding, on that broad and ice-cold bed, a female with messy long blond hair hanging down tapped the nightstand using her much thinner palm.

"Your Majesty..."

The knights outside instantly felt the call of that existence inside, hurriedly responding respectfully like so outside the hall.

And within the palace, Elizabeth's hoarse voice weakly sounded anew,

"I am already no longer your queen..."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

"...How are things outside?"

Within the chamber, on the ice-cold bed, the eyes of the emaciated Elizabeth were wrapped by bandages. That pale face subconsciously looked toward the position of the window. Taking in her eyes, however, was a patch of darkness. Immediately after, she asked like so.

"...Her Highness Isabel is diligent day and night. With your guidance, everything is proceeding in an orderly manner."

"..."

Elizabeth didn't transmit a satisfied response, because whether it was her or the knight outside the door, they both knew, what Elizabeth was asking was not state affairs.

But rather regarding the source of that catastrophe in Naris several months ago, the so-called World-Ending Prophecy...

"Cough cough..."

"Your Majesty, I'll go request Her Highness Isabel to bring a doctor over."

"...No, no need... step down..."

Within the palace, Elizabeth's hoarse voice extinguished like an illusion, yet it made the knight outside the door find it hard to stand up for a long time.

"Your Majesty..."

Inside the Spirit World.

Outside that extremely bright Sea of Souls, because everything had already ended, those carefree Chaos-kin once again floated outside the Crevice, acting exactly like nothing had happened, turning into speck after speck of stars within the dark Spirit World...

Solitarily deep within that Sea of Souls, a smear of moonlight paused before the Barrier.

"What do we do now? Are we really going to just leave Fisher outside like this? There is so much chaos outside, what if something happens to him..."

At the end of that moonlight, Renee lowered her head, reaching out to stroke the Barrier flickering with golden light before her eyes. And by her side, the completely square Eimhart was flying back and forth around him anxiously like a headless fly.

Hearing his trademark drake-like voice, Renee seemingly turned from a sculpture into a living creature.

She slowly raised her head. The black hair parted slightly, revealing her sorrowful visage,

"The Ocean's true body is outside, those chaos certainly aren't the Ocean's match..."

"The Ocean! Then isn't that just Baimon!"

To her surprise upon hearing this, Eimhart couldn't hold on anymore. His eyes went white, almost fainting.

"Then isn't he even more totally done for?! Who knows what that cursed Baimon outside will do to Fisher! If we don't go out and save him, I'm afraid... I'm afraid before long he'll die without a place for burial, played with until broken like a toy!"

Renee tightly bit her teeth, clenching her fists even tighter, wishing she could use her own power to bombard the tightly shut Barrier before her eyes...

Yet her palm raised, but put down powerlessly. She could only use words to vent the resentment within her inner heart,

"The outside must be very dangerous, I know! But... but all methods have been researched over. That Azanroth fundamentally won't respond to us. Only Fisher can communicate with Him. There's no way to make Him open the Barrier to let me go out and retrieve Fisher either... The only way is if I use my power, penetrating the Barrier from the inside like the Ocean did..."

Saying and saying, Renee unavoidably began choking with sobs again,

"But... but Fisher tried so hard, risking his life precisely to mend the Barrier, driving all the foreign invaders entirely back, sparing all living beings inside the Barrier from being harmed by destruction. Now that he finally succeeded with great difficulty, I... how could I let down his wish and do such a thing...

"If only my Authority was used to mend the Barrier back then, in that case he wouldn't be unable to return; if I could have discovered earlier, what the Ocean took away from me in the shelter was exactly the final avatar she hid away, then Fisher's soul wouldn't have been damaged to that extent either..."

Painfully, Renee covered her face. Drops of crystal-clear teardrops fell from between her fingers, but regret was exactly like rootless water, endless no matter how much it leaked.

Eimhart opened his mouth behind her. He seemingly also lost all strength, arduously flying onto Renee's shoulder to rest. Immediately after, he sighed, saying,

"If it was your life used to mend it back then, perhaps the Fisher today would be ten thousand times more in pain than being caught by the Ocean outside... let's be a bit optimistic, Renee. Perhaps he'll be completely fine after being caught by the Ocean outside, perhaps he'll even be so happy he doesn't want to come back, completely not wanting to return at all."

Eimhart brewed vocabulary for a long time, ultimately comforting Renee like this.

However welcoming him, was Renee's murderous gaze.

"...I was wrong, Lady Renee."

Eimhart instantly withered, hurriedly apologizing.

But after all, regarding Fisher's departure at this moment, the sorrow within his inner heart was likely no less than other ladies.

Powerlessly, Renee lowered her head. At this moment facing the Barrier acting exactly like a sanctuary but also like a cage, facing the entire world behind her that survived the calamity of destruction and became lifelike, she felt at a loss...

Exactly like the kind of solitude she experienced over the past thousand years, she merely felt despair.

"..."

The entire world was a patch of dead stillness, exactly as if all colors had been stripped away alongside Fisher's departure.

The Ocean so coveted the property inside his body. Having left the Barrier, she simply couldn't imagine what kind of pain Fisher would experience outside...

What exactly should I do, Fisher?

"Buzz..."

Right when Renee's all thoughts were turned to ashes, within her field of vision, specks of crystal-clear light gradually lit up, gradually illuminating her currently tear-streaked face like a pear blossom bathed in rain.

She blankly raised her head to look at the Barrier before her, yet gradually discovered that the entire Barrier began flickering with golden light.

"Buzz buzz buzz..."

Evidently just a summon of some existence entering, but for some unknown reason, Renee's nearly stagnating heartbeat burst with vitality anew.

"Thump thump... thump..."

Unbelievingly, Renee looked at the Barrier gradually revealing its veil before her eyes. Amidst the gloomy darkness outside, a figure was tightly wrapped by golden light, rushing into the Barrier at an extremely fast speed, subsequently dive-bombing straight toward reality.

"Buzz buzz buzz!"

That golden light brushed past Renee's side. She widened her eyes, turning to look by her side simultaneously with Eimhart.

In a fleeting glimpse, they simultaneously saw the Fisher wrapped by golden light with his eyes closed...

"Fi..."

"Fisher?!!!"

"Buzz buzz buzz!"

Renee and Eimhart exchanged a glance, their eyes filling with disbelief.

Afterwards, the moonlight all over Renee's body fiercely exploded, turning back to chase after that golden light dive-bombing toward reality.

"Buzz buzz buzz!"

Exactly like a shooting star, that golden light pierced through the darkness, pierced through the bright Sea of Souls. Upon the Sea of Souls, one after another tiny, squeaking little Chaos-kin were all bouncing around. They looked as adorable as one slightly enlarged tangyuan after another.

"Squeak squeak... babble babble..."

Outside the Crevice, those "stars" that became tranquil anew also looked over sideways in surprise, seemingly all feeling who the existence wrapped within the golden light was.

And in reality...

In the Dragon Court palace, Yali'er had just finished brewing the medicine for nourishing the fetus. Just as she was about to deliver it into the room, she abruptly discovered with surprise, that originally incomparably fragile daughter seemed to have sensed something at this moment and was already awake, even staring wide-eyed, looking at the ceiling.

"Raphaela, you... you're awake! I'll go call Jasmine and that Miss Phoenix over right now, wait a moment..."

"Mom... I... wait a moment..."

Hurriedly, Raphaela climbed up arduously from the bed. Seeing this, Yali'er hurriedly put down the soup medicine in her hands, arriving by the bedside concernedly, patting Raphaela's back,

"What's exactly wrong?"

"Thump!"

And at this moment, the door of the bedchamber was fiercely pushed open again. Yali'er was just about to frown and reprimand whoever was so rude disturbing her daughter's rest, but entering her eyes were the similarly panting Jasmine, Valentiina, and Alajina...

"Raphaela! Outside... the sky outside! Look quickly!"

"You guys..."

Raphaela was slightly stunned. Ignoring Yali'er's dissuasion, she hurriedly arrived outside the balcony of the bedchamber, looking up at the sky together with the Jasmine and Valentiina behind her.

Yet they saw the sky that was sun-bright and beautiful entirely occupied by the Barrier's golden light at this moment. And at the center within it, a shooting star bright as the sun was plummeting toward the Dragon Court of the Southern Continent...

Raphaela blinked her jade-green eyes. She roughly estimated the distance and direction, subsequently murmured,

"It's the seaside... the direction of the seaside... The Barrier must have just been opened. Mom, I want to go take a look, I'm going to the seaside!"

"Raphaela, you... you take the medicine first!"

But Raphaela seemingly already had recovered her vigor. Still wearing pajamas, she quickly walked to the door of the room, draping a heavy cloak over herself. Having just taken a few steps, she felt her footsteps weak and soft, but behind her, an ice-cold hand reached out and firmly supported her.

Raphaela looked back; the owner of that hand was precisely Valentiina.

Valentiina smiled faintly at Raphaela, subsequently spreading her wings. She said,

"Let's just go up from the balcony, I'll take you over."

Raphaela opened her mouth. Subsequently, a smear of a smile also surfaced on her pale face,

"Alright."

"Buzz buzz buzz!"

That massive golden shooting star wrapping Azanroth's blessing passed unimpeded through the Crevice, dive-bombing all the way down within the atmosphere, fiercely falling toward the edge of the Southern Continent, a location between the hubbub of voices and the azure sea.

"Rumble!!!"

Following an earth-shattering loud noise, that golden shooting star also smashed a giant pit into the sandy beach on the coast. A water column surged into the sky, then pattered down as raindrops onto the sandy beach.

"Hah..."

And within the center of that giant pit gradually being devoured by the advancing and retreating sea waves, Fisher, his whole body drenched in seawater, was gazing at the sun-bright and beautiful sky within the world, breathing the air that had become peaceful in everything at this moment.

As if all of this was an illusion. However, the warmth brought by that sunlight, the sticky feeling of the dripping wet clothing on his body pasted to his body, the tangible feeling of breath entering his body during each inhalation and exhalation...

Everything was reminding him...

He was back.

"Hahaha..."

Lying within this giant pit, Fisher finally couldn't help but laugh.

The seawater pattering down from the sky dripped onto his face, beating the black hair on his head into bangs, falling before his eyes.

All surroundings were extremely peaceful. Between heaven and earth, there were no more roaring sounds of chaos, solitarily the sound of sea waves patting the coast, and seagulls flying freely in the sky.

"Buzz!"

And from the sky, a streak of moonlight fiercely descended. A smear of delicate fragrance surged to the tip of his nose. Fisher's eye pupils shrunk slightly. Hurriedly, he sat up and turned his head to look, exactly the Renee in a black dress, similarly in disbelief.

"Fisher!!!"

After confirming the person before her eyes was truly the Fisher returning from outside the Barrier, Renee's eyes went red. She could no longer restrain her entire body from trembling. Immediately after, disregarding everything, she threw herself at Fisher.

Firmly, Fisher caught her body. Yet it wasn't over. On his face, a completely square book also abruptly unfurled, slapping onto his face,

"Smack!"

"Wuuuu ahhhhh! Fisher, I thought you were beaten by that cursed Baimon until unable to take care of yourself, then being in pain and happy at the same time, so happy you didn't want to come back, and would never return! Wuuuu!"

Stretching out his hands, Fisher tightly hugged Renee's body, while not forgetting to pull the Eimhart on his face aside a bit with his face covered in black lines, so he could see.

Hearing Eimhart's completely unfounded slander, Fisher GNASHED his teeth, just preparing to teach him a lesson. Yet looking at his anxious, panicky, and trembling book body, ultimately he merely couldn't help laughing, saying,

"Haven't I returned?"

"Fisher, what exactly happened outside? How did you come back..."

Renee tightly hugged him, unable to bear letting go. Her face was pressed against Fisher's neck, her voice also incomparably muffled, carrying a sobbing tone and the saltiness of seawater.

Hearing this, Fisher was slightly stunned. Opening his mouth, just preparing to say something, three delicate cries simultaneously transmitted by his ear,

"Fisher!!!"

"Teacher Fisher!"

"Fisher wuuu..."

Fisher was slightly stunned. Before releasing Renee, the Jasmine before his eyes had already taken the lead disregarding everything to rush toward himself, rushing into his bosom exactly like Renee.

His body trembled slightly, yet still maintained a sitting posture. However subsequently, when the Valentiina bringing piercingly cold wind and the Raphaela bringing scorching hot air rushed over anew, he finally couldn't hold out and fiercely fell onto the ground, scaring the Eimhart on his face to fly up.

"Thud!"

Fisher re-planted himself solidly onto the ground. Anew entering his eyes, was that clear sky with golden light gradually fading and dimming.

And within his bosom, several warm, weeping, scorching hot souls reunited after a long separation were tightly embracing him, feeling his existence, filling the despair of thinking they could never meet again.

"Fisher..."

The Raphaela in his bosom had lost a lot of weight. It was hard to imagine the current her was still pregnant. Merely feeling her lightness, Fisher felt stunned.

And whether it was Valentiina, Jasmine or Renee, they were all similarly concerned about himself...

This kind of scorching heat made that property craving annihilation within Fisher's inner heart seemingly no longer exist. Merely at this moment, he unprecedentedly felt himself, felt the so-called [Existence]...

Valentiina's wings emitted cold air, turning her teardrops into pearls,

"I thought we could never meet again... you... liar..."

"Teacher Fisher, Mom and Dad they said wuuu..."

"We... were all very worried about you."

Their voices pulled Fisher's consciousness back to reality bit by bit. He lowered his head to look into his bosom, looking at the one closest to himself, who was already weak to the point of unable to slightly rise like Valentiina, Jasmine, and Alajina.

The current her was tear-streaked. The scales on her body laid down layer by layer, exactly as in the past, becoming supple and warm.

Looking at the Fisher before her eyes, she didn't interrogate, merely a warm smile...

To Fisher, she said,

"Everything has ended, Fisher..."

Fisher's eyes also grew soft bit by bit. His strength was seemingly extracted by this seemingly effortless sentence of Raphaela's.

He tried so hard for so long, the purpose for which he sacrificed everything, perhaps was precisely this moment...

For this moment, he was willing to offer everything.

And fate seemingly finally displayed His benevolence, feeding back his requests to Fisher...

A bit of tears welled up in his eyes, yet he was unprecedentedly relaxed, merely embracing everyone beside him...

He responded exactly like being unchained from constraints,

"Yes, everything has ended."

"Splatter..."

"Splatter..."

"Splatter..."

That warm reunion gradually heated up beneath the witness of the sea waves, as if at this moment the whole world stopped at the beauty of this moment.

But the sea waves couldn't read those complex and precious emotions. It merely exacted the rule, advancing wave upon wave beneath the traction, covering forward then gradually retreating heavily, emitting crisp sounds of sea waves...

And right by the edge of that coast, at the edge of the giant pit Fisher fell into, a quaint book was just being pushed up and down amidst the sand by the sea waves, until the next second, its cover opened, revealing the book pages within that had become entirely blank.

"Pitter-patter patter patter..."

Nearby, a mischievous grayish-white crab seemingly living by the sea rapidly moved its walking legs, maneuvering rapidly between the gravel, and paused before that unfurled quaint book.

Yet seeing the unfurled book pages empty of everything, exactly as if waiting for someone to compose a new chapter.

That crab paused for a moment. The eyes on its head swiveled around, subsequently growing even closer to this quaint book before its eyes.

Contemplating for a moment, the crab outstretched its crab claws to pinch its book cover, unexpectedly attempting to drag this unfurled book away as spoils of war, yet neglecting that with its own body size it was difficult to drag such a massive book...

"Slap!"

Thus as expected, with a stumble, the crab fell flat on its back.

But unexpectedly, this action closed that unfurled book anew, revealing the quaint text written in completely square writing above...

Written on it was,

"Demi-Human Girl Completion Handbook".

That personal item consistently following Fisher from beginning to end, somehow dropped perfectly not far away at this moment, landing onto the sandy beach by the ocean's shore.

That illiterate crab struggled to stand up anew, still thinking the book before its eyes counterattacked her causing her to fall.

"Yah!"

Thus even more indignantly, baring fangs and brandishing claws it extended its crab claws. Saying whatever she definitely must bring this book back...

"Splatter!"

However in the next moment, the sea waves behind surged again, fiercely patting upon the coast, simultaneously swallowing her and that book at once.

"Splatter..."

Subsequently, that sea wave slowly receded from the sandy beach, returning into the incomparably broad ocean...

And on the shore after the sea wave, whether it was that book or the crab, both completely disappeared without a trace.
