The beams of two flashlights remained fixed on Ling Feng’s face, stoking the anger within him to gradually flare up. Hearing that it was He Jiuguang’s order only made his blood boil even more!

"Fine then, I won’t drive out!"

"Mr. Ling, you just hit two construction workers; aren’t you going to take responsibility?" He Jiuguang asked.

"You hit them, and we don’t know if they’re injured. Shouldn’t they at least go to the hospital for a check-up?" He Jiuguang suggested.

"Sure, then you go get them checked out. Since I can’t leave, I won’t follow!" Ling Feng nodded.

"No problem!"

He Jiuguang smiled, "However, I must remind Mr. Ling that if they’re injured or have broken bones, you will have to pay a hefty sum. Otherwise, you might end up in jail!"

Ling Feng turned back, stepped right up to him, "I didn’t realize the Village Chief He had such tricks up his sleeve!"
