Ling Feng looked at the screen, pondered for a moment before answering, and then asked, "Looking for me?"

"Would I have dialed this number if I weren’t looking for you?"

Li Tong’s voice was cold, without any discernible emotion.

Ling Feng gave a small "oh" and then asked, "What’s up?"

"Is your so-called desire to settle scores with Li Mao simply killing him?" Li Tong immediately asked.

Ling Feng frowned and asked in a deep voice.

"Don’t tell me you didn’t know Li Mao was dead!" Li Tong said.

"Even if I knew, you think I did it?" Ling Feng countered.

Li Tong was silent for a moment before she said, "You just called me, and then he immediately had an accident. If not you, then who else?"

Ling Feng suddenly laughed!

Then he said to Li Tong, "What a coincidence, I was just suspecting you. But after hearing what you said, I feel like the person who set this up successfully pointed the finger at me. It’s a clever trick!"

"Suspect me?"

Li Tong was taken aback, then coldly asked, "What do you suspect me of?"

"I didn’t kill Li Mao. Someone set this up to give me trouble, and here you are calling to interrogate me," Ling Feng laughed.

After a while, Li Tong asked, "Where are you?"

"In the apartment building opposite Li Mao’s company, but don’t overthink it. I rented this place earlier, not to deal with him!" Ling Feng said.

Li Tong said one sentence and then directly hung up the phone.

So, the two sat in the waiting area outside.

Almost an hour passed before the forensic doctor came out, holding a report, and said to Li Tong, "After examination, it appears that both died of poisoning on the surface, but we found some unknown drug components in their blood. It’s still uncertain what the drug is, but it’s possible they first fell unconscious because of this drug, then inhaled excessive carbon monoxide and died!"

"Are there any samples of the drug?" Li Tong asked.
