The Greatest Village Doctor In The World

Chapter 1411: Success

Chapter 1411: Success

Ling Feng and Li Fei’er were standing over fifty meters away from the statue across from them, a distance neither could directly jump across.

Moreover, during the jump, if they landed wrong, they’d fall straight into the snake pit.

Ling Feng wasn’t afraid of snake bites, but those creatures were just too disgusting!

While he desired the stone on the statue, he was troubled about how to get over there.

Just then, Li Fei’er chuckled and said, "Don’t worry, I can have Little Bai help!"

As soon as she finished speaking, a fluffy squirrel appeared in her hand.

After Little Bai came out and looked around, it jumped at the sight of the snakes, covering its mouth with its two front paws in a surprised expression!

Ling Feng laughed when he saw this: "This little guy is starting to mimic human expressions?"

"Little Bai, did you see that red stone across there? Go get it for me!" Li Fei’er said.

"Squeak!"

Little Bai let out a squeak, then jumped to the ground and directly scrambled up the wall!

"Hey? That’s a neat trick!"

Seeing its ability to climb the wall, Ling Feng was overjoyed!

Very soon, Little Bai climbed to the opposite side, getting straight onto the statue’s head.

But as it climbed up, the venomous snakes in the pit suddenly became agitated!

Judging by their demeanor, they were not keen on anyone taking that thing away!

Ling Feng chuckled: "Let’s see if you can stop Little Bai!"

The snakes were in a hibernation state, their bodies stiff and movements slow, almost incapable of any action, so they could only watch helplessly!

Meanwhile, on the statue top, Little Bai began clawing at that stone with its two paws.

The red stone was clearly embedded, so it exerted all its strength, looking quite amusing.

It held the stone with its front paws, kicking wildly with its hind legs, and squeaked, making Ling Feng laugh heartily.

Li Fei’er couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him: "Uncle, it’s helping you out, could you not laugh so joyously?"

"Alright, my bad."

Ling Feng quickly stifled his laughter.

Little Bai tugged at the stone from all directions, and with great effort, finally got it loosened.

Then it took it down, holding it with its paws. Seeing this, Ling Feng’s heart sank: "Oh no, both its hands are occupied, how will it climb back?"

While worrying, he saw Little Bai suddenly open its mouth!

Then, the red stone was stuffed straight into its mouth.

Ling Feng: "....."

Seeing Little Bai’s mouth immediately bulge out, its head enlarging by a circle, Ling Feng realized this was how it ferried the stone.

This was indeed the squirrel’s nature; when gathering food, they carry it back in their mouths.

Quickly, Little Bai leapt off the statue and began to climb back along the wall.

Meanwhile, the snakes in the pit became even more agitated, each one squirming nonstop, seemingly very angry.

Once Little Bai returned to Li Fei’er’s hand, snakes started crawling up towards the edge!

Seeing this, Ling Feng squinted his eyes: "You go first, I’ve got some Five Elements Fruit for them to taste!"

"Okay!"

Li Fei’er turned and ran out, and once she was far away, Ling Feng pulled out a few Five Elements Fruits and tossed them in before the venomous snakes could crawl out of the hole!

"Boom!"

Despite the underground space being quite narrow and air scarce, several bursts of flames ignited instantly, causing the temperature across the space to surge greatly!

The smell of burning wafted through the air as Ling Feng turned and left the snake pit.

Returning along the passage to the entrance, he leaped out to the outside.

But upon seeing the situation outside, Ling Feng froze.

Li Fei’er was standing there, surrounded by five people in white clothing!

These five people were wearing white cold-weather gear, their bodies tightly wrapped, with goggles on their faces, making it impossible to see their appearances.

They were holding guns all pointing at Li Fei’er, and upon seeing Ling Feng come out, two black gun barrels immediately aimed at him!

"Uncle, who are these people?" Li Fei’er was not nervous, but asked puzzled.

Ling Feng shook his head: "I don’t know either, but they don’t seem like good people!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the Mind Soul Art activated, causing the five people to let out a scream!

Immediately after, one of them pulled the trigger!

Luckily, he staggered, lifting the gun barrel, and a string of bright flashes shot skyward!

The gunfire echoed sharply across the wilderness, carrying far and wide!

Ling Feng was speechless, stepping forward and kicking the person into unconsciousness!

The others fared better, loosening their fingers when feeling pain, fearing injuring their teammates, whereas this guy unbelievably still held onto his trigger, truly deserved it!

After subduing the other individuals, Ling Feng tore open their clothes to search, finally finding a document full of incomprehensible text.

The document’s photo showed a typical European face, indicating these guys were Russians.

Knowing that they couldn’t communicate due to language differences, Ling Feng didn’t bother trying to engage with them, simply pocketing the document, and looking up to see a snow vehicle parked in the distance, saying to Li Fei’er: "Let’s go, we’ll take that for faster travel!"

"Alright!"

Li Fei’er nodded, following him onto the snow vehicle.

The engine roared, the vehicle pulling a trail of snow as it sped off into the depths of the wilderness!

After traveling for almost five minutes, two other snow vehicles arrived for support.

These people came upon hearing the gunfire but found they were too late on arrival.

One of their comrades was unconscious, and four were seemingly under some spell, unable to move, leaving the support team perplexed.

Finally, unable to do anything else, they couldn’t spare time to pursue Ling Feng and his companion, so they loaded their allies onto the vehicle and left the scene.

Meanwhile, Ling Feng and Li Fei’er had been racing across the snow for quite some time. Although it wasn’t their first time doing this, Li Fei’er was still incredibly excited, constantly screaming and cheering.

After covering dozens of kilometers, Ling Feng pulled the vehicle to a stop.

"What about the gemstone? Little Bai didn’t keep it for itself, did it?"

Li Fei’er rolled her eyes: "Of course not, it’s with me!"

Then she handed the stone to Ling Feng and continued: "Uncle, those guys in white seemed to know we went inside, waiting at the entrance for us to come out!"

"Hmm, they probably wanted this stone too."

Ling Feng nodded, examining the red crystal stone in his hand closely.

The thing was still emitting clusters of red light, but what it was used for remained unclear!

After pondering, he casually tossed the stone into his bracelet: "We’ll study it later, I suspect it’s for summoning venomous snakes or something similar, not much use to us!"

Having said that, he restarted the snow vehicle, continuing their journey into the wilderness.
