Chapter 1353: Massive Funds
Chapter 1353: Massive Funds
After being stunned, Ling Feng immediately asked, "Can the money in this account be transferred out?"
"Yes!"
Ah Min nodded, then asked, "Boss, do you have any offshore accounts?"
Ling Feng nodded, "I do, but if I transfer it through my account, will there be a risk of exposing my identity?"
"There probably would be. If someone investigates where the funds are headed, they’d still be able to trace it back to you, Boss!" Ah Min nodded.
"Oh, then let’s use another method. I’ve been cautious not to leave traces in Dongying; let’s not mess up here!" Ling Feng said.
"Alright, leave it to me!"
Ah Min nodded, then turned to Gu Li, "Have everyone help me register a hundred virtual accounts. I’ll launder this money!"
"Okay, give me a few minutes!"
Gu Li replied and immediately went to assign tasks to the people below.
After a while, a document came through on Ah Min’s computer, listing the virtual accounts just registered online.
Then, Ah Min began her performance.
Of course, Ling Feng and the others were watching from the side, only able to see various documents flashing on the screen but having no idea how she was doing it.
After about half an hour, Ah Min turned to Ling Feng, "Boss, this money has been transferred so many times that it can’t be traced anymore. Give me your account!"
"Sure!"
Ling Feng nodded and took out the card registered in Guo City.
The money inside had already been transferred out, and he originally thought it wouldn’t be of any use again, but unexpectedly, it came in handy this time.
After some operations by Ah Min, one billion US dollars was deposited!
Ling Feng was beaming with joy and cheerfully said to her and Sato Saori, "You two have done a great job. I’ll thank you properly!"
"No need for that."
Sato Saori smiled and then asked, "Are you really not going to tell Zhang He about this?"
"Forget it, there’s nothing wrong if they don’t know. If they find out, I’m afraid I won’t be able to keep this money!" Ling Feng chuckled.
"Money grubber!"
Sato Saori rolled her eyes and continued, "This girl is so good with computers; you should thank her properly!"
"Of course!"
Ling Feng nodded, then looked at Ah Min, "Is there anything you need my help with?"
"Not much, really, but I find the dorm here uncomfortable. Could you find me a place with a better environment?" Ah Min asked.
"Sure!"
Ling Feng agreed without a second thought, then pondered, "The hot spring villa is the best choice now. I’ll have Yuhe arrange a place for you later!"
"Thank you, Boss!" Ah Min laughed.
Delighted by the unexpected windfall, Ling Feng couldn’t contain his excitement and took Sato Saori’s hand, saying, "Let’s go; I’ll take you to meet Jiaolan!"
"Sure!"
Sato Saori had long known about Mo Jiaolan’s existence and knew she was one of the most important women in Ling Feng’s heart, so she had been eager to meet her from the very beginning.
Now having this opportunity, she felt a bit nervous but agreed immediately.
The two then went upstairs, and once in the office, Ling Feng quickly made introductions.
Mo Jiaolan, already aware of Sato Saori, stood up and smiled, "Welcome, Sister Saori!"
"Sister Jiaolan, you’re so beautiful!"
Sato Saori wasn’t just being polite; Mo Jiaolan had indeed changed quite a lot, exuding a dignified aura that made it almost intimidating to look directly into her eyes.
"Alright, no need for too many courtesies, Jiaolan, I have something to tell you!"
With joy on his face, Ling Feng told her about how he unexpectedly acquired one billion US dollars.
After hearing this, Mo Jiaolan’s eyes widened in astonishment, "So much?"
"Yes, although I’m not too sure about the source of these funds, the Shadow Group has been operating in Dongying for many years; it’s indeed very lucrative, and it all ended up benefiting me!" Ling Feng laughed.
"What’s your plan for this money?" Mo Jiaolan asked.
"I have no particular plans; I’ll just hand it over to you as a capital injection for the Ling Corporation!" Ling Feng laughed.
Unexpectedly, Mo Jiaolan shook her head, "No way!"
"Why?"
Ling Feng was taken aback and asked in confusion.
"We’re not a publicly listed company. The company’s funds come from various shareholders’ investments. Injecting such a large amount of money all at once would effectively dilute everyone’s shares. That’s not right!" Mo Jiaolan explained.
"Makes sense."
Ling Feng nodded, then asked, "So what do you suggest?"
"In my opinion, it’s better to establish a company overseas, a wholly-owned venture." Mo Jiaolan suggested.
"Uh, but we already have an overseas company in Mianluo Country. Why would we need to set up another one?"
Ling Feng was puzzled, then continued, "Besides, we don’t really have any business to conduct overseas right now!"
"That’s not true!"
Mo Jiaolan smiled and continued, "Just because we don’t plan to do business now doesn’t mean we won’t in the future. Once Lingyun Island develops and attracts global attention, we’ll still need a company to handle various trade activities!"
Ling Feng thought it over and realized she was right. He was bound to go global sooner or later, so setting up a foothold now was reasonable!
So he nodded, then asked, "Where do you think would be the best place to establish a company?"
"On Harbor Island, an international trade center, and it’s very close to Southeast Asia." Mo Jiaolan replied.
"Alright, I’ll go find Chen Murong to help register one!"
Ling Feng didn’t hesitate and nodded directly.
Mo Jiaolan looked at Sato Saori, "Saori, have you been to Nine Heavens yet?"
"I just went over; I took a tour around it." Sato Saori replied.
"Oh, then you haven’t been to Lingyun Island, have you?" Mo Jiaolan continued to ask.
Sato Saori shook her head, "No, listening to you talk has made me very curious. What kind of place is Lingyun Island?"
Mo Jiaolan smiled, "I’ll take you there later; we don’t have much to do this afternoon anyway, and I was planning to go with Ling Yao and the others to take a look!"
"Great, I haven’t met Sister Yao yet. I’ve heard she’s quite remarkable, and I’m eager to meet her!" Sato Saori responded immediately.
Seeing the two hitting it off, Ling Feng smiled and said, "Since that’s the case, you two go have a look, and I’ll go to Harbor Island to take care of the company’s matters!"
"Alright, see you later!"
Mo Jiaolan nodded, then took Sato Saori and left.
Ling Feng was about to teleport to Harbor Island when the phone suddenly rang; seeing it was Han Wancheng calling, his heart sank!
After hesitating for a moment, he answered, then smiled and asked, "Boss, what’s up?"
Han Wancheng’s tone was unfriendly, "Look at what you’ve done!"
