Chapter 1344: The Motorboat
Chapter 1344: The Motorboat
Ling Feng was stunned upon hearing this: "Nervous? Why?"
Long Xiaoyu innocently shook her head: "How would I know the reason, it’s just a feeling!"
After speaking, she looked at Ling Feng: "Who is that girl I’ve never seen before?"
"You mean Li Tong?"
Ling Feng chuckled: "She’s the one who can perform Sword Flight!"
"Oh?"
Long Xiaoyu nodded: "This person is indeed extraordinary, I can sense the Sword Qi within her!"
"Really? Does that mean her power is really strong?" Ling Feng asked.
"Not necessarily, you only know if someone’s strong after a fight!" Long Xiaoyu replied.
Ling Feng, hearing this, smiled helplessly: "There might actually be a chance for that!"
At ten o’clock in the evening, two figures left the villa, then disappeared into the darkness of the mountainside.
Ling Feng and Long Xiaoyu arrived at the pier, where Shinozuka Haruko was already waiting.
Seeing that he brought a pretty girl along, Shinozuka Haruko was taken aback for a moment, then quickly walked over and said: "Mr. Ling, who is this?"
"My partner, Long Xiaoyu, she’s with me."
Ling Feng said, glancing towards the pier direction. It was a small fishing harbor, surrounded by small boats, with no big ships in sight.
So he immediately asked: "Is the boat ready?"
"Yes, Mr. Ling, Ms. Long, please follow me!"
Shinozuka Haruko said, turning to walk towards the pier.
The three came near, just as they were about to board the boat, Ling Feng suddenly frowned and looked back.
He saw Sato Saori jump out of a car, quickly running over!
Ling Feng was a bit speechless, waiting for her to approach, he asked perplexedly: "Didn’t we say you didn’t need to come?"
"I suddenly realized, since you’re going to Dongying, you might need a translator, so I came along!" Sato Saori explained.
"Um, isn’t your Aunt Qingzi already coming, why need more translators?" Ling Feng asked with a wry smile.
Sato Saori pouted: "You’re wrong, my Aunt Qingzi is only responsible for getting you to the shore, she can’t be involved after that!"
"Why?"
Ling Feng was taken aback, looking back at Shinozuka Haruko, puzzled.
"Mr. Ling, please don’t misunderstand, after all, I’m a member of the Shadow Group, if they find out about me, it could expose our purpose, so it’s better for me not to show up!" Shinozuka Haruko explained.
"Is that the case?"
Ling Feng suddenly understood, then looked at Sato Saori: "Since you’re here, let’s get on the boat!"
He glanced back at the car in the distance, the one driving was Li Tong, who was now expressionlessly turning the car around to leave.
The group got on the boat, it was a yacht with an internal cabin. Ling Feng wasn’t sure if they were going straight to Dongying on this, but since departure was imminent, the route didn’t matter much!
Soon, the yacht left the shore, heading towards the open sea.
The crew entered the cabin, and after sitting down, Ling Feng noticed Sato Saori continually avoiding making eye contact with Long Xiaoyu, prompting him to curiously ask: "What’s going on with you?"
"N-nothing!" Sato Saori stammered.
Seeing her like this, Ling Feng laughed, taking her hand: "You still say nothing? You’re obviously nervous!"
"Okay."
Sato Saori, conceding, sneaked a peek at Long Xiaoyu, then timidly whispered: "She has a very strong aura, it’s a bit intimidating..."
"Really?"
Ling Feng was surprised, turning to look at Long Xiaoyu, then smiled wryly: "I don’t sense any aura!"
"It’s my Dragon Soul pressure."
Long Xiaoyu stated, followed by a flash of golden light from her body, then she looked at Sato Saori: "Feel better now?"
"Phew, much better!"
Sato Saori exhaled, then puzzled, asked: "What’s that Dragon Soul pressure you mentioned?"
Long Xiaoyu did not answer, instead, she glanced at Ling Feng.
"She’s one of us, no need to hide it." Ling Feng understood and said.
"Oh."
Long Xiaoyu nodded, then said: "Actually, I’m not human, so I naturally carry a species-specific aura, and that’s why it makes you feel tense!"
"Ah?"
Sato Saori obviously hadn’t expected that the cute little girl before her was not human!
So she was immediately dumbfounded.
Seeing this, Ling Feng patted her head: "Don’t be so shocked, Little Yu is my best partner, she’s helped me a lot in the past!"
"Oh."
Sato Saori came to her senses, stuck out her tongue, then awkwardly smiled at Long Xiaoyu: "Sorry about before, can I call you Sister Xiaoyu from now on?"
"No need for the sister part, just call me Little Yu!" Long Xiaoyu laughed.
Having bridged the gap, the atmosphere was no longer awkward, and the two girls soon chatted and laughed together.
After three hours of sailing on the sea, Shinozuka Haruko came into the cabin: "Mr. Ling, it’s time to switch boats."
"Okay!"
Ling Feng nodded, leading the two girls out of the cabin and onto the deck, where he saw a small speedboat without a cabin, parked next to the yacht.
"This boat is fast, it will only take a day to reach Ryukyu." Shinozuka Haruko explained.
"Great, as long as we can get there quickly!"
Ling Feng nodded, leaping directly onto the speedboat.
Three girls and one guy boarded the boat, with Shinozuka Haruko manning the helm, and they set course eastward.
With high-speed travel, the sea breeze blew through the girls’ long hair, noticing their light clothing, Ling Feng couldn’t help but ask: "Aren’t you cold?"
"No!"
"I’m fine!"
Sato Saori and Long Xiaoyu said simultaneously.
...
...
After dawn, across the vast sea, the speedboat drew a white trail over the water, speeding ahead with full force.
Seeing Shinozuka Haruko continuously at the helm, never taking a rest, Ling Feng stood and walked to her side: "Shall I take over for a bit?"
Shinozuka Haruko was surprised, then asked: "Mr. Ling, can you pilot a speedboat?"
"No, but this isn’t a highway, as long as the direction is right, just lock the throttle, isn’t it?" Ling Feng laughed.
"Yes, but I’m not tired, let me do it!" Shinozuka Haruko replied with a smile.
"No need for that, holding one position like this, anyone would get tired, you should go rest at the back!"
As Ling Feng spoke, he directly snatched the steering wheel.
Seeing this, Shinozuka Haruko didn’t insist and turned to the back.
Facing the morning sun, Ling Feng watched ahead, keeping the speedboat on course.
Around noon, Sato Saori came over: "Let me take over for you!"
"It’s fine, I’ve got it! Just sit." Ling Feng turned back and said.
"Let me do it, we’re all getting a bit hungry, why don’t you go make something for us?" Sato Saori suggested.
The boat had been traveling for twelve hours, quite a long time indeed, so Ling Feng nodded: "Alright, I’ll make you something to eat!"
