Returning to Ergou’s boat, seeing Chen Fei’s expression of speechlessness, Ling Feng asked, "Sis, what’s happened?"

"That young woman forced the boat owner to turn back!" Chen Fei said.

"Oh?"

Ling Feng was taken aback, but instead of pondering why the boat didn’t follow, he frowned and said, "What on earth is with this Sato?"

Realizing there was no point in staying here, he turned to look at Ergou: "Take us back to the village!"

As the fishing boat returned, Chen Fei sighed slightly, "They’ve been ashore for more than half an hour, going back now to find them is useless!"

Once the fishing boat reached the shore, Ling Feng and Chen Fei returned to the home of the old man they had visited before.

Ling Feng then asked the boat owner, "Brother, where did those people go after disembarking?"

"They headed toward the mountains along the lakeshore, in the west direction!" The boat owner pointed towards the distant mountains.

"Great, thank you!"

Ling Feng nodded and took Chen Fei’s hand, "Sis, let’s head back first, we’ll talk on the way!"

"Alright!"

The two bid farewell to the old man and his son, and then left the fishing village to return to their car.

Ling Feng didn’t rush to leave. Once in the car, he called Han Wancheng to report the situation truthfully.

After explaining, there was a long silence on the other end of the line, followed by a sigh from Han Wancheng: "I understand."

Ling Feng was confused and asked, "Boss, what do you mean by that? Is my mission finished?"

"Yes, you don’t need to follow up on this matter anymore!" Han Wancheng said.

"What about the police in Yangjing County? A missing tourist needs some kind of explanation, right?" Ling Feng continued to ask.

"I’ll have someone liaise with them to transfer jurisdiction to the security bureau," Han Wancheng pondered aloud.

"Okay, I got it. But regarding Sato, can you tell me what her identity is?" Ling Feng asked.

"I’ll explain when we meet in person later."

Han Wancheng seemed in a bad mood, saying only that before hanging up the phone!

Ling Feng looked at the phone in disbelief, shaking his head helplessly.

Turning to see Chen Fei looking at him, he smiled wryly and said, "Well, this matter doesn’t concern us anymore, let’s go home!"

"Really? What’s going on, tell me on the way." Chen Fei said, starting the car.

On the road back to Yangjing County, Ling Feng recounted what happened with Sato Saori.

After explaining the details, Chen Fei squinted, "This really is complicated, seems her background is quite extraordinary!"

"It appears so now, even General Manager Han seems to have trouble with her, I can’t figure this girl out!" Ling Feng said.

"You’ll know eventually, no need to have concerns or worries, you’re not the ultimate decision-maker anyway!" Chen Fei said.

Ling Feng nodded, "You’re right!"

Driving back to the county town, it was already noon, and they went straight to the hotel.

Then they ordered some food and solved their lunch in the room.

After eating, Ling Feng said to Chen Fei, "Sis, you don’t need to worry about the case anymore, just rest here for the afternoon!"

Chen Fei glanced at him, "What about you? Staying with me or busy with something else?"

Ling Feng felt a stir, although he wanted to stay, he nonetheless shook his head with a wry smile, "I better not stay with you, otherwise neither of us would get any sleep!"

"Is that what you’re worried about?"

Chen Fei’s eyes twinkled as she looked at him, "What if I don’t mind?"

Ling Feng’s heart skipped, throat suddenly dry, for it was the first time he saw her look so charming, he couldn’t move his feet!

But before he could make a move, the phone rang.

Seeing it was Gu Li calling, Ling Feng hastily answered, "What is it?"

"Boss, ready now!" Gu Li said.

"Alright, wait for me!"

Ling Feng said, hanging up the phone, and told Chen Fei, "Sis, I need to deal with the Li family’s matter!"

"Are you sure about it?" Chen Fei asked seriously.

"I’m sure, I have to do this!" Ling Feng nodded.

Chen Fei looked at him, stood up and said, "Then I’ll go with you, I want to see how magical your teleportation really is."

"Aren’t you tired?" Ling Feng asked.

Chen Fei chuckled, "Why would I be tired at a time like this?"

"True, okay then!"

Ling Feng nodded, holding her hand, and they teleported to the Nine Heavens.

Afterwards, he said to Chen Fei, "I need to go to Ling Corporation to find Gu Li, do you want to look around or come with me?"

"I’ll come with you, we can explore anytime, what’s important now is the operation for the Li family!" Chen Fei said as she curiously looked around the scenery.

"Alright."

Ling Feng nodded, taking her to the teleportation array leading to Ling Corporation.

Upon arrival, they went to Gu Li’s office.

This place still resembled a command center at a space launch site, with rows of staff busy at their computers.

Seeing Ling Feng arrive, Gu Li quickly brought a teenager over, "Boss, this is the genius hacker, her name is Ah Min."

"A girl?"

Seeing the short-haired individual with a lollipop, Ling Feng initially thought it was a boy!

"What’s the problem, boss? Look down on girls? Can only guys be top hackers?" Ah Min asked with a hint of dissatisfaction.

Ling Feng hastily shook his head, "Of course not, I just didn’t realize you were a girl!"

Explaining like that wasn’t any better, so he swiftly changed the topic: "By the way, thanks for your help with the Europe incident, name your reward, anything you want!"
