Seeing Sato Saori enter the water, Ling Feng chuckled.

The phone got wet, and it’s very likely damaged. Even if it’s not, it won’t be usable for calls anytime soon!

Han Wancheng doesn’t know what’s going on, so he probably won’t come after me. After all, he didn’t hear my voice on the phone.

Ling Feng then turned to look at the woman named Qingzi; her face did not look good, one reason being that she and her subordinates had been captured by the safety bureau, and secondly, she had just learned that Sato Saori was not one of their own!

Ling Feng extended a finger: "First, have you found the item? If not, keep looking!"

"Look at them, do they look like they have a statue?" Qingzi asked irritably.

Ling Feng smiled, "Come on, I know you have spatial equipment and took all the luggage from the hotel. Do you think I didn’t notice?"

Qingzi was momentarily stunned, then said, "There’s no statue inside. Finding something so small at the bottom of the lake is like searching for a needle in a haystack, we’ve only been here for a short while, how could we find it so quickly?"

So he looked up and said to Ergou, "Move the boat further away, to a place fifty meters away!"

Ergou hadn’t clearly seen Ling Feng’s actions earlier but sensed something was off, realizing that this person was not ordinary, so his attitude had drastically changed.

"Just do as I say, why are you asking so many questions?"

Ling Feng yelled at him and turned to look at Qingzi, "No need for you guys to dive down to search, I’ll go myself. But be warned, if you try any funny business or plan to escape, I won’t be polite when I get back!"

Qingzi said nothing, her eyes flickering, though her thoughts were unknown.

Ling Feng stashed his phone into the Space Bracelet and then leaped into the lake.

The water was slightly cold, but visibility was acceptable; sunlight penetrated the surface, allowing a blurry view of the underwater scene.

Ling Feng had already spotted Sato Saori’s figure; she was swimming upwards from below!

Seeing her holding a phone, Ling Feng wondered about his luck—how could she have found it?

He ignored Sato Saori and dove downward.

Then he activated his Divine Sense and began searching the lake bottom and the mud nearby.

But this was enough. If the statue was indeed at the bottom and not deeply buried, there was a chance to find it.
