Chapter 1302: The Heart of the Lake

The old man sighed with relief after hearing Chen Fei’s words, then said, "That would be best. Those people stayed in the village last night and rented a few boats early this morning to go out."

"Alright, thanks a lot, sir!"

Chen Fei nodded and then asked, "By the way, are there any boats left in the village now that we could take out?"

"Yes indeed, do you also want to go to the lake?" the old man asked.

"Yes!"

"Alright, wait here, I’ll go find Ergou, his boat is at home today!"

The old man said and turned to leave the house.

Ling Feng and Chen Fei waited at the door, and soon the old man brought a scruffy young man with him.

This young man, called Ergou, looked to be in his thirties, reluctantly following along, and then glanced at the two of them: "You’re the ones wanting to rent a boat?"

"Yes, we want to go to the center of the lake, how much would that cost?" Ling Feng asked.

"You can give me five hundred, and if it goes over four hours, it’ll be another five hundred!" Ergou said.

Ergou chuckled, glanced at Chen Fei’s legs, and strode towards the dock!

There were three fishing boats here, all still on the lake, engines turned off.

On each boat was a dark-skinned man, obviously the owner of the boat.

Chen Fei nodded, watching as Ling Feng leaped upward, directly landing on the opposite boat.

Despite the two fishing boats being more than twenty meters apart, his figure seemed unbound by Earth’s gravity, gliding right over!

Witnessing this, Ergou and the other three boat owners were dumbfounded!
