The Greatest Village Doctor In The World

Chapter 1141: Sword Flight

Chapter 1141: Sword Flight

Ling Feng froze for a moment, then realized—it was a person!

The figure stood upon a longsword, its entire body emitting a dazzling white glow!

As the person approached the ground, they suddenly leapt into the air, the longsword falling into their hand, and immediately began a massacre!

Ling Feng, watching from the mountaintop, was utterly stunned!

He neither knew the person’s identity nor could believe that someone capable of sword flight could exist—their cultivation must be unfathomably advanced!

To achieve sword flight, one must at least be beyond the Nascent Soul Realm!

Seeing this scene, Ling Feng’s heart tightened!

A flood of complicated thoughts rushed through his mind, leaving him dazed and overwhelmed.

Meanwhile, the slaughter in the valley had already concluded. The person headed straight for the enormous creature, their sword flashing with an overwhelming brilliance as it plunged directly into the creature’s body!

"Holy crap!"

Ling Feng stared, mouth agape, thinking to himself—how could they kill it so easily?

He watched as the person entered the creature’s body, only to emerge moments later, their white garments entirely unblemished, without a single trace of blood.

Ling Feng stood dumbfounded for a moment before realizing he couldn’t delay any longer. He leapt forward, heading straight towards the person.

The moment he moved, the other person noticed him, but merely cast him a glance before stepping onto their sword and soaring away into the sky!

"Uh..."

The sheer indifference from the other left Ling Feng feeling thoroughly ignored—it was an outright dismissal!

Not even a word in greeting—they must truly look down on me!

Yet, considering the fact that the person could perform sword flight, which was far beyond his current capabilities, Ling Feng could only sigh helplessly and shake his head.

The valley fell silent once more. Ling Feng didn’t bother dealing with the Xinglong Gang corpses scattered around. After surveying the area briefly, he turned and left.

Returning to Little Lian’s house, Ling Feng immediately teleported to the Nine Heavens, heading to the Sixth Layer.

Finding Ling Yao, he quickly recounted the events that had just transpired.

After listening, Ling Yao asked, "Was that person male or female?"

"Uh... I couldn’t tell!"

Ling Feng felt slightly embarrassed. The person had rather delicate features, but since they hadn’t exchanged words, it was hard to discern their gender merely by appearance.

"If they didn’t attack you, it means they bear you no ill intent—you don’t need to worry," Ling Yao said.

"It’s not so much worry; I’m just curious—I’d never expected someone so powerful to exist!" Ling Feng replied with a wry smile.

"The world is vast and full of wonders. Perhaps they’ve had some fortuitous encounters that allowed them to rapidly advance in their cultivation," Ling Yao remarked.

"Or maybe they’ve mastered some rare spell, like a flight technique," she added.

Ling Feng nodded thoughtfully, "That’s possible. Regardless, since they killed the Xinglong Gang members, they don’t seem like an anomaly or a threat."

"Speaking of which, you’ve been overly busy lately. Haven’t you neglected your own matters?" Ling Yao asked.

"You’re right, but it’s not exactly something I could help!" Ling Feng replied with a dry laugh.

Ling Yao shot him a glance, "It seems to me you’re quite enjoying yourself!"

Ling Feng: "...."

Feeling awkward, he quickly changed the topic, "By the way, Sis, you didn’t finish explaining about the Seven Stars Grand Array last time!"

"I’ll explain it later—I’m busy now," Ling Yao replied curtly, turning to leave.

As he watched her back, Ling Feng could only sigh helplessly and shake his head.

At that moment, An Xue happened to come in. Ling Feng hurried over to ask, "What’s Ling Yao busy with recently?"

"Exploring the Sixth Layer and preparing to unlock the Seventh Layer," An Xue replied.

"Oh really? I had completely forgotten about that!" Ling Feng exclaimed, eyes wide in surprise.

An Xue chuckled lightly, "Don’t worry, someone else is thinking about it for you!"

"Thanks for your hard work—I’ll wrap up my current matters quickly so I can join you in the exploration!" Ling Feng said.

An Xue glanced at him, "We know you’re busy, but don’t promise things you can’t fulfill. You should spend more time cultivating with Sister Zhou Yi."

...

...

The next morning, Ling Feng arrived at Tang Family Village. The staff hired locally by Ling Corporation had also arrived.

Ling Feng’s requirements were clear. The priority now was settling the location and planning for the distillery, so the workers started measuring the terrain, and villagers from Tang Family Village gathered to watch.

Not seeing Tang Xiaoqian or Mu Lingling among the crowd, Ling Feng turned toward the school.

In the dormitory, he found the two eating breakfast. Mu Lingling looked slightly better. Smiling, Ling Feng asked, "Did you sleep well last night?"

"Yes, thank you, Brother Ling! Really, thank you so much!" Mu Lingling said.

Ling Feng looked at her, "Don’t be so formal. Just try to put everything behind you and stop overthinking!"

"I will!"

Mu Lingling nodded, then said, "In a few days, I’d like to request some time off to visit my school."

Ling Feng understood her intentions and didn’t say much, nodding with a simple, "Just make sure to stay safe."

"I will!"

Tang Xiaoqian interjected, "Why are you here so early?"

"The village is bustling—you didn’t know? The site for the distillery has been determined!" Ling Feng replied.

"Really? Where?"

Tang Xiaoqian jumped up in excitement.

"Over on the western hillside of the village. With the plans in place, construction will start soon!" Ling Feng said.

"You’re efficient—it’s only been a few days and you’ve already finalized everything!" Tang Xiaoqian remarked in admiration.

Ling Feng chuckled, "It’s not that I’m in a rush—there are a few eager folks who can’t wait to taste your brewed rice wine!"

Tang Xiaoqian blinked in surprise, "Do I need to prepare anything?"

"Nothing for now. Once production officially begins, you’ll just need to guide the brewing process. The staff will contact you when the time comes," Ling Feng explained.

Hearing this, Tang Xiaoqian paused briefly before asking, "Does this mean you won’t visit as often anymore?"

Ling Feng hesitated for a moment but quickly shook his head, "Of course not—I’ll definitely come by whenever I have time!"

"Oh, that’s good!"

Realizing she had spoken too emotionally, Tang Xiaoqian’s face flushed red.

Seeing this, Mu Lingling laughed softly and said, "You two chat—I’ll step out for a bit!"

"Don’t!"

Tang Xiaoqian quickly grabbed her hand, knowing she intended to leave them alone to talk privately.

Ling Feng smiled at the interaction, "Alright, I just came to check in. I still have things to do, so I’ll head out first."

Both women blinked, momentarily reluctant.

However, restrained by their politeness, neither said anything, following Ling Feng to the door and watching as he left.

Returning to Shankou Village, Ling Feng inspected the construction site. Everything was progressing smoothly—the pig farm had begun to take shape, and over at the tea plantation, Wang Wan’er had already planted the seedlings.

It wouldn’t be long before ham, cured meats, and tea leaves could be produced in bulk.

As Ling Feng continued planning his vision for future development, his phone suddenly rang.
