The official chuckles throwing the huge metal lid of the well away and opens his hands widely before speaking cheerfully "Oh! This must be your first time visiting The Cold Prison of The Royal Palace! Let me have the honour to take you personally!"
Saying so he gets a huge lamp from a soldier and jumps inside the well.
THUD!
Maya "..." Did he die?
The official shouts from inside the well "Since I am a kind person I will get you a ladder, Your Highness!"
Maya is speechless "..." The Cold Prison ...is inside this well?!
She walks ahead and blinks astonished as she didn't find any hollowness of a well, instead it is quite a huge pit if seen from the surface. She could jump this easily though.
Without thinking she just jumps inside the well and lands on the ground with a heavy thud.
THUD!
And that's how she entered the Cold Prison of The Royal Palace without any fear.
The Official stares her flabbergasted "..." Did she just...
The soldiers from Imperial Court ".." What did this Lady just do?!
She pats her palms and smirks at the official "I don't like you and your kindness, Sir. So, don't offer any".
She turns and looks around the well and finds a huge doorway with the doors wide open!
The Official gets out from his daze and mutters to himself "Looks quite excited for the first visit though.." and leads her the way silently.
Maya ignores his comment and walks through the doors of The Cold Prison of The Royal Palace. She swallows hard feeling the coldness emitting from the walls around them and the dark tunnel. She doesn't fear darkness but the coldness brought the fear out of her.
She observes the way and the chambers in her way keenly. No one is there except her. She crosses a chamber and feels her head spinning and her vision blurring. She holds her head and supports herself by leaning over the cold wall.
Suddenly she spots a shadow of a woman sitting near her suddenly and gasps in horror. She steps back and stumbles as she was startled by the shadow sitting in the way!
The official asks mockingly "What happened, Your Highness? Can't handle the humiliation already? We didn't even enter the prison we prepared for you with much though!"
Maya's eyes never left the woman and gasps at the official "Am I the only person seeing this woman?! Wait! Is she... dead?!"
She squints her eyes through the darkness and finds the woman holding her shoulder as if she is hurting somewhere. She steps ahead boldly as for some reason she isn't scared of that shadow anymore. She was just caught off guard ay first.
The shadow slowly turns its head and looks at the way Maya walked in and forwards her hand as if seeking her help.
Maya subconsciously walks ahead at the same time hears the heavy footsteps of someone running behind her. The footsteps sounded as if the person whoever is in a great hurry. Before she could go near the shadow the official grabs Maya's hand and drags her inside the tunnel of the Cold prison.
"You can't fool us with useless tricks, Your HIghness!"
Maya shouts "Leave me!"
When Maya turned back the lady was not there and not there any sound of footsteps! She didn't even bother to warn the Official anymore while he is dragging her as her mind is blank by the scene she just saw. She walks inside the prison in confusion.

After half hour of Maya has been in the Cold Prison.
Alex appears disguised himself as a guard and whispers faintly as the sound can echo throughout the tunnel if he even increased his voice slightly.
"Hey..hey...Wake up, My Lady.."
His voice was so soft which felt like a gentle breeze to hear. His voice sounded gentler than ever! If his parents hear him now, they might faint in shock as he never showed them his tender side. Even Xander might throw up hearing him. But Alex now has to behave this way as he is disguised as someone else!
He changes his behaviours extremely even his parents would always fail to find his disguise. It's fun to watch and fool others.
But Maya woke up startled as the words 'My Lady' brought her out from her snoozing. But to her annoyance, it was stupid Alex holding a small oil lamp giving any light barely! For a moment, she expected something or someone and she regrets that expectation now. It hurts every time her expectations fail to happen.
"Have some food, My Lady"
She is freezing in the cold and the warm food in his hand made her contemplate her previous thought of smacking his head and throwing him in a dungeon. She decides to postpone that for some time and gets the bowl of hot soup without a second thought.
Alex "..."
Alex looks at her getting the hot bowl in her bare hands in awe.
'She has the Powers indeed! I made this soup extra hot so that it can't get cold even I was delayed! But I was earlier than expected and the soup is still boiling! Even I had to take it by covering my palms with rolls of cloth!'
Maya with no idea of his thoughts drinks the soup in a single gulp as if it is her Elixir of life! It is true though. If not for this warm soup, her Power would have diminished gradually to nothing.
Alex "...." I like her more! She is dangerous but not for me! It's so fun to fool powerful people!
She wipes her lips and keeps the bowl down. She looks at the floor in deep thoughts before asking "How long?"
Alex is a sharp-minded man and replies her back "Since you have been here? About half of an hour. And how long will you be here yet? Will take another half an hour".
She asks suspiciously "Why are you helping me?"
Alex smirks waving his hand "I don't like you, Of course!"
She closes her eyes with a deep sigh and leans back relaxed "Oh! I am fortunate in this .. even though I am going to be freezing to death!"
