"That was really tiring, My Lady".
Xavier turns his face to look at her smiling. He asks with his eager filled eyes "How did this Highness do?".
For more than few hours Xavier was too busy in doing whatever Maya asked him to do.
Due to the first day of the practice, Maya only asked him to climb the rope using his toes. Initially, Xavier wanted to ask why with the toes as he can just climb easily by his hands.
But Maya instead stated strictly 'I prefer doing to asking when it comes to practice '.
While both were sitting under the tree, it's already time to dawn. Both can hear some birds already chirping and flying out of its nest in search of food.
Maya already was impressed by his perseverance and nods answering him "You are a fast learner, Your Highness. You have learnt to use your toes to maintain the balance quicker than I thought".
Saying so, she notices his toes bruised due to the practice and states as if she didn't look at it "You...*deep breath* are stubborn too..."
'He didn't stopped climbing even after falling many times..Since, it's a practice primarily focussed on his toes, he fell several times as it was his first time even hearing about this! I would have stopped after few falls and continued the next day..Indeed I did practice that way as I could not allow myself to get hurt badly! If I did, then the rope would have broken by my mere touch. Then how could I climb? I needed to be more careful while the practice..'.
Xavier says carelessly while leaning back on the grasses "I am just passionate to learn".
Maya sighs out a delightful breath as he stated her heart out.
'How similar we are...He didn't care for his pride when he fell in front of me and more than that he was obediently listening to my every words while climbing down! Now I am intrigued to learn more about him-'.
She looks at him laying nonchalantly and retrieves her eyes before he notices.
Xavier asks "What's the next stage, My Lady? Since, you said I learnt how to use my toes-".
Maya states playfully not even looking at his side "You have to climb without using your hands".
Xavier blinks with a frown as if he didn't hear her right.
He gets confused seeing her calm as ever and blurts out "Without hands?".
Maya nods slowly as she is waiting for the Sun to rise.
Xavier states genuinely "I can't even think about climbing without using my hands!".
Maya chuckles sensing him sitting from his previous position eagerly "Are you afraid, Your Highness?".
Xavier states confused "I am afraid you might kill me in the practice".
Maya gets offended by his mere sentence as she can never ever even think of killing him. She swallows the explanation and states "If I survived falling from that cliff with this technique, then I don't think a mere practice can take a life".
Xavier sensed her tones varied and declares looking the sky "I must be leaving, My Lady. I will be anticipating for tomorrow's practice".
'I xan never forget how I felt when I found that you were the one who fell from the cliff that day!'.
Maya mocks "Do you still want to practice the life threatening technique, Your Highness?".
Xavier chuckles "If I fear practicing a technique, then I don't deserve to be a Prince of This Realm, My Lady".
He declares teasingly "Do arrive early tomorrow too, My Lady. Without bothering your servants this time of course! .
Maya purses her lips at his last sentence and nods "I will".
Xavier stands and takes his leave from Maya.
Maya notices him leaving and sighs "I feel ..nothing now. As if I don't have anything to do..".
She looks at the Sun rays gradually lighting the surroundings and lost in thoughts.
'I felt worthy when I taught him. Now I have to find something to do. I have to find everything about the Cold Prison. I still wonder whether he would answer me with truth. Enough of the wait. I will ask him tomorrow about the Cold Prison. I won't delay this anymore.. I still remember the cold touch on my hands.. If I used the wish in future to close this prison soon, then it must be important!'.
She stands slowly and smiles feeling the Sun rays over her face.
'I will not disappoint myself'.
She walks back to her chamber determinantly.

Kalki's Chamber.
Kalki is reading some messages that he received this morning. Reading the information his face turned displeased.
He rolls the message and keeps it aside. While he was reading his last message, he remembers something and calls "Jonathan!".
A man comes into his chamber at once "Yes, Your Highness!".
He already knelt down keeping his spear beside him obediently.
Kalki orders "Prepare for my leave right after the Contest ends. Inform this to Xavier".
The servant bows "At once, Your Highness".
He swiftly walks out of Kalki's chamber.
Jonathan who was the very understanding servant of Kalki from before. We know him already as he was the one who observes every reaction of Kalki and announces it in the Imperial Court.
He has been serving Kalki for years. He always knows what irks Kalki and he will act accordingly. With his presence, Kalki never needed to talk too much.
Now he frowns at this sudden order 'Why would His Highness order me so early when I have a day yet to the Contest? His Highness never informs early unless-'.
He gets astonished 'Is His Highness not going to participate this time in the Wish Ride Contest?! Indeed! If he informed me earlier, then that means he will not be present here in the Palace for the rest of the time! Jesus! This is the first ever time that Kalki would not be present in the Contest!
