Xavier couldn't help smiling at all.
Maya clutches her fist hard and nods clearing her throat. She speaks struggling "It's an easy way to keep things...At least for me".
'Embarrassing!! Everything is embarrassing!!'.
She turns her face away from him and tries to calm her threatening heartbeats. They were in the attempts of making her faint in embarrassment today. Strangely familiar! Ever since she met this man and his voice that threatens my heart!
Xavier too looks away with a broad smile on his face and speaks in a husky voice "You don't have to be embarrassed, My Lady. I am happy that you are treasuring it too".
Maya asks looking him reluctantly "How wouldn't I?! Even after you told me how valuable it is!".
Xavier looks back at her eyes in silence as if he is lost in his ecstasy!
Even though Maya wanted to look away from his eyes, she couldn't even think of doing anything that would prevent her from seeing his charming eyes oozing such adoration.
Maya gets back to reality hearing the sounds of footsteps and looks down instantly. That's it! She couldn't even take this for a complete minute!
She couldn't afford to stare at his deep eyes anymore.
Both can hear the people approaching them and stands.

Both Anthony and Scarlet came running towards Xavier in unison.
Scarlett was the one who squealed in ecstasy while she tries to grab Xavier's broad hand. Girls are always expressive! Except the certian someone!
Xavier opens his arms wide with an adoring smile on his face. No matter how mischievous they are that would never make him love them less!
And they are still young too.
But still Xavier asks raising his eyebrows towards Anthony strictly "You were told to sleep in time, Young man. What are you doing here at this time?"
Anthony speaks through his pursed lips "Scarlett wanted to go for a walk, Brother Xavier".
He looks at Scarlett sneakily and closes his mouth when she snapped her head right back at him in disbelief.
Scarlett stomps her foot and approaches Anthony, completely displeased. Her angry red face was too adorable to see.
She scoffs while resting her hands on her waist "Oh?! Who was the one that suggested knocking Madam Maya's chamber door then?! Neither did I suggest for a walk in evening nor did I knock the door. You are solely responsible for knocking Madam Maya's chamber door and like a responsible sister, I only helped you a little by..covering you! And I did no wrong!"
She pouts her lips and snaps away from seeing Anthony in anger.
Maya could only raise her eyebrows in complete astonishment hearing Scarlett.
'This girl can talk!'
She looks at Xavier who only chuckles helplessly shaking his head at Scarlett's bold and matured justification of her 'deeds'.
'She is just like Veronica when someone tries to blame her wrongly!'
Xavier declares with a tired sigh "Enough of you two for this day! Now, let everyone to take some rest, will you?".
Both Anthony and Scarlett try to walk away but Xavier tilts his head and clears his throat purposefully hinting something "Did someone forget something?"
Anthony and Scarlett look at each other and turn back towards Maya worriedly.
Maya is taken aback by this sudden acknowledgement of her from the two children and snaps at Xavier with no clue.
'What do you want now? They were just leaving quietly!'.
Anthony and Scarlett speak in unison.
"W-we are sorry for today..".
Maya "..."
Suddenly Maya couldn't speak and stays staring at those two blankly.
'I never know that Royal people will apologize to me! Didn't Sarah mention that these two were too spoiled and never listen to anyone?'
Maya could only stutter unsurely "T-That's alright?".
Anthony giggles "Did you hear that? This Lady can't even talk".
Maya's eyes turned dark ".." The nerve of this boy!
Xavier's voice came immediately "Watch your words, Young man!".
Scarlett snaps at Anthony with creased brows almost immediately like Xavier and speaks looking at Maya sincerely "I will stop him if he tries to trouble you in future, Madam Maya".
Maya only nods at Scarlett dumbly 'I never thought these children could make me feel so inferior.. They talk so elegantly!! But they are still young!'.
'Moreover, I can leisurely manage any number of people in the Court but I still find difficulty in even understanding children! They are very distant even from my mind!'
Xavier declares looking at the children "Alright! I won't go to bed until I make sure you two are asleep. So, Do you think I may get some sleep tonight?".
Scarlett rolls her eyes and answers him "I will make sure Anthony doesn't step out from his bed, Brother Xavier. You can have some good rest".
Both leave after bowing at Maya, thus making Maya and Xavier to be left all alone in the huge corridor.
Celina and the two guards are asked to leave them at their chamber personally.
Xavier asks remembering something "Have you heard about The Wish Ride Contest which would happen in two days time?".
Maya darts her eyes blankly "No? What is that?".
Xavier explains " Every year we conduct a horse riding contest and whoever wins can get any wish fulfilled by The Emperor".
Maya gasps surprised "Whoever wins?!".
Xavier smirks "Of Course either Xander or I win everytime".
Maya raises her eyebrows stunned and mumbles "Seems this horseman is really capable enough to win over the Princes!".
Xavier bites his lip playfully hearing her and quite enjoys this temporary ignorance of her. He can't wait to see her face when she is told that Xander is Kalki!
Maya's inner struggles made her oblivious of Xavier leaning towards her and her breaths stopped when she sensed his lips dangerously near her ear.
She can feel his breaths on her neck. And her heart just freezes and forbids to beat too!
"Have a good sleep, My Lady. And don't forget to practice Archery tomorrow. You might get chance to learn something new from someone?".
Xavier turns to leave and a gentle laugh escaped his lips while he looked back at stoned Maya before disappearing from there.
