The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day

Chapter 771: Kneeling

Chapter 771: Kneeling

What no one expected was that just as all the villagers were preparing to retreat, the newly appeared group of black-clad bodyguards started helping them fight off Henry Stanton’s people.

Henry Stanton was cornered by the black-clad bodyguards and asked in horror, "Who are you people?"

"The ones who will bring you to justice!" As soon as the bodyguard finished speaking, he swung a punch directly at Henry Stanton’s face.

Henry Stanton immediately blacked out and passed out.

"They’re on our side!"

Dottie’s Dad’s face lit up with joy, and the villagers quickly regained their spirits and fought alongside the bodyguards.

With the help of the black-clad bodyguards, it only took a few minutes to subdue all of Henry Stanton’s bodyguards.

Dottie’s Dad heaved a sigh of relief and stepped forward to thank the bodyguards when they suddenly formed two lines and shouted in unison, "Miss Monroe!"

The villagers couldn’t help but look over.

They saw a slender girl standing there with a calm gaze, graceful like a butterfly.

Dottie’s Dad immediately recognized the newcomer.

"Summer Monroe? Henry Stanton’s daughter?"

Summer Monroe nodded. She took a step to the side, and Dottie immediately ran forward from behind her and hugged Dottie’s Dad’s leg.

"Daddy!"

Dottie’s Dad pulled Dottie behind him and asked warily, "Summer Monroe, did you send these people to help us?"

Summer Monroe replied with a slight "Hmm," and said, "Yes, it was me."

Everyone immediately looked surprised, and Dottie’s Dad couldn’t help but ask, "Why?"

Dottie spoke first, "Daddy, it was Sadie who wanted us to sign! She wanted to help us from the very beginning."

"This..." Dottie’s Dad was even more surprised.

Summer Monroe gave a faint smile and said, "I’ve severed my ties with Henry Stanton, so I’m no longer his daughter. What Henry Stanton did is unforgivable. I promise I’ll make sure he coughs up everything he owes you."

Dottie nodded repeatedly, "Daddy, Sadie is really a good person! Uncle Rubin is her friend."

By now, how could Dottie’s Dad not tell whether Summer Monroe was good or bad?

He gave a bitter smile and said, "I never thought it would be a young girl who would help us in the end."

But the village chief didn’t have time for sentimentality. He stepped forward and asked, "Summer Monroe, our original plan was to move their belongings and sell them as payment for our work. So, according to you, what should we do now?"

Summer Monroe said, "Moving things is not allowed; it’s illegal. If you move anything, Henry Stanton could still sue you later, and even if you have a reason to move the things, the law won’t permit it."

"Then what should we do?" Dottie’s Dad asked anxiously.

Summer Monroe calmly took a stack of papers from Bella and said, "There’s no need to rush. As long as you sign your names on this document, this matter can be easily resolved."

"Sign?" Dottie’s Dad slapped his thigh and said, "So it was you behind the scenes helping us with the signing all along."

Summer Monroe nodded, "So, there’s no need for everyone to rush to move stuff. Come and sign here first."

Many villagers immediately went over.

In no time, several sheets of paper were filled with signatures.

After signing, Dottie’s Dad rubbed his hands awkwardly and said, "It’s my fault, I should have signed a long time ago. I can’t believe I was outwitted by a child, deceived by Henry Stanton and his people until now."

"It’s not your fault; it’s Henry Stanton and his people who are shameless." Summer Monroe said, picking up the papers and examining them before raising her voice and saying, "Leave the matter of getting your wages to me. Now, please go home and wait quietly for the news."

Dottie’s Dad’s eyes grew hot, thinking of how Rubin had tried to persuade him in the past. He gritted his teeth and knelt directly in front of Summer Monroe.
