The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress

Chapter 942 - 919: Fierce Battle (1)

Chapter 942 - 919: Fierce Battle (1)

Two people looked at Shade Jervois, who was in a coma, his eyebrows constantly furrowing, as if he was being tortured by pain even in his unconscious state.

The cold-hearted Doctor X couldn’t bear it and said, "I won’t give him a heart transplant either, just keep him alive with machines for as long as he can."

Doctor X meant to let Shade Jervois fend for himself.

Shade Jervois’s heart had already been transplanted to Night Owl; his heart was gone.

Can a person live without a heart?

Yes!

But, without a heart, is a person still the same?

...

Thursday, the 5th.

On this day, the Naminua Ocean garnered half of the world’s attention, with many media outlets coming, and Death Island was being labeled by them as a "cult organization" and a "terrorist organization."

So many missing children were abducted by Death Island;

So many wealthy people and politicians were killed by the human weapons of Death Island.

Each top international wanted criminal came from Death Island... these statistics are enough to shock the entire world.

On the enormous Juggernaut, Adrian Desmond watched the screen with a cold and clear expression.

"Sixth Master, do you think those kids will recognize their parents?" Brandon Potter asked.

The base’s children were also all orphans, with both parents gone. The base was also mockingly called: Orphanage.

Without Adrian Desmond’s protection, the fates of those orphans on this turbulent land would definitely be much more miserable.

Death Island is different from the base; they directly kidnap children who show good potential back to Death Island. So, many people on Death Island are not orphans.

Today, those parents came to find their children.

"No, they won’t!"

"Why not?"

Arianne felt some pain; her parents had passed away early, so seeing so many mothers coming all the way to Death Island to find their children made her envious.

She so wished that among those parents were her own.

"I said, they are human weapons!"

"..."

"Human weapons, have no emotions!"

...

A fleet of large ships, swarming crowds completely surrounded Death Island, on one of which were the crying parents searching for their children.

They had searched all their lives, many were already gray-haired, they came to Death Island only to bring back their treasures.

Adrian Desmond knew, however, they would be disappointed.

Those human weapons would not follow them back.

"Collins... I am your mother, come out and see mom..."

"Johnny, I am your grandpa, your mom and dad died in a car accident searching for you. Grandpa only has you now as my relative... let’s go home..." an old man choked, calling through a megaphone, calling, calling, couldn’t call anymore, as he wept bitterly.

"...Brother, it’s me, Lisa, I’ve come to find you with Mom and Dad. Where are you?" a little girl shouted loudly.

Those people were calling out their children’s names, oblivious that on Death Island their names had been erased, just as their identities had been erased, they had only a code name, their identity is a killing weapon.

Emotion, human joys and sorrows were all stripped away.

Adrian Desmond curled his lips and said, "How will Night Owl handle this?" He was looking forward to it.

Night Owl didn’t keep him waiting long; a cannonball was fired directly at that "noisy" ship.

Devastating screams, echoed through the loudspeakers, filled the cabin, Brandon Potter’s eyes turned red, and he turned his head away, whispering,

"They are so pitiful... among those who killed them, perhaps one was their own child."

Adrian Desmond glanced at Brandon Potter and said, "Do you now know why I say the people of Death Island are stronger than you all?"

Because they have no emotions.

A person, who can even kill their own parents, friends, lovers with their own hands, how terrifying is such a person?"

Human weapons weren’t allowed to have personal consciousness, weren’t allowed attachments, they were brainwashed like this since childhood. Fortunately, when Adrian Desmond was taken to Death Island, he was already aware, with enough personal consciousness.

A boatload of people, 15 or more pairs of parents, came full of hope and didn’t take their children back but lost their lives.

The last image, a mother, full of tears, covered in blood, her bloody hand reaching towards Death Island, struggling, with all her strength, shouting,

"John, I’m your mother! Come home with mom!"

A bullet pierced her heart, blood gushed from her mouth, unable to hold on, her body toppled over the ship’s barrier, falling into the sea.

In the first battle, Night Owl completely subdued the attackers of Death Island with cold-blooded and brutal force.

Before they could even catch their breath, Death Island began attacking others. What’s more terrifying, was not knowing when it happened, Death Island’s human weapons had infiltrated the ship, going on a murderous spree.

Perhaps even God couldn’t bear the sight, as the previously clear sky suddenly darkened, with lightning and thunder, and rain began to fall.

"Action!" Adrian Desmond ordered.

Brandon Potter, with a stern face, went to relay the orders.

Adrian Desmond stood up, took one last look at the battle scene, then grabbed the gun on the table and strode out of the cabin!

On the deck of the Juggernaut, five hundred people in groups of twenty lined up in a formation.

Adrian Desmond, dressed in camouflage, with a bulletproof vest over it, wearing a black beret, face smeared with camouflage paint, a standard Special Forces combat look.

He stood there, legs spread apart, hands clasped behind his back, standing tall, saying, "I only have two points to make.

First, aside from Doctor X, kill everyone else even children!

Second, survive!"

"Yes, Sixth Master!" they replied in unison, loudly.

"Move out!"

Sabrina Conner followed, tagging along behind Adrian Desmond, dressed the same, not speaking. Whatever Adrian Desmond did, she did.

When they were ten nautical miles from Death Island, the Juggernaut couldn’t go any further, so they boarded speedboats and headed towards Death Island.

Death Island, an island surrounded by sea on all sides, a terrain with both advantages and disadvantages, but to Adrian Desmond, the latter far outweighs the former.

See, such terrain is easily besieged.

Unlike his base, situated in the jungle, if they couldn’t win an attack, they could retreat deep into the jungle.

Adrian Desmond had hidden many supplies deep in the jungle, so even in a prolonged battle, he could wear them out.

The landing place was very quiet, everyone mindful of Adrian Desmond’s warnings, dared not let their guard down.

"Sixth Master, this mountain is quite steep," Marion said.

Barnes Smythe chimed in, "Steep? Where’s the steepness, it’s practically vertical!"

A hundred-meter-plus cliff face, vertical, almost without any slope, and the most troubling part was the cliff was too smooth, with no foothold for climbing.

No wonder there’s no one here because people simply can’t climb up, even monkeys wouldn’t be able to climb up.

"How do we get over this cliff and into Death Island?"
