Chapter 507: To Be an Idea (2)

"Well, I must thank Old Kagami," a voice that was layered many times over, yet somehow sounded so casual it felt oddly out of place, echoed through the darkness while Kaguya’s vision remained completely black.

The voice continued, calm and almost playful.

"It’s quite rude of him to think he knows me in and out" The voice said, "I’m no monster, you know. More like a handsome saint for beautiful women."

Kaguya tried to speak, but no sound came out.

In this moment, she wasn’t even sure she was truly alive. Her body felt weightless, suspended in an endless void, as if she existed somewhere between life and erasure.

The voice chuckled softly.

"And since you’re so beautiful... you’re already considered one of my wives."

Before she could process the words, the voice grew gentler, almost warm.

"As my wife, you can’t be weak..." Then as the voice grew distant it spoke again, "So, I’ll give you a small gift as an apology... for slaughtering ninety percent of your clan."

In that moment, a single, radiant strand of pure golden light appeared before her — a thin, pulsing thread of Origin’s Essence.

It floated gently toward her, sinking into her chest like a warm ember finding its home.

The voice spoke one last time, fading into the distance.

"Grow strong, Kaguya. Daddy will be waiting.~"

---

From that moment onward, Kaguya underwent a profound transformation, an evolution that spanned an immeasurable expanse of time.

That is, until now—under Kagami’s watchful gaze, the truth of the years elapsed became clear.

"Five thousand years... suspended in nothingness," he murmured, his lip twitching at the thought of Ash.

"He... he could have at least been more considerate," he sighed.

Yet, even as those words left his lips, Kagami could not fathom the magnitude of the changes wrought upon Kaguya by the Origin’s Essence.

At this juncture, no one—not even Ash himself—understood how his seemingly simple act of apology had irrevocably reshaped the course of Kaguya’s destiny.

And with her presence still intertwined within the very framework of the power system, her fate remained firmly set upon the grand chessboard of existence.

----

The day her eyes opened, she was no longer within any Organisms... nor was she in Reality Nine.

Instead, she was within Reality Five standing in the lands that would one day become the Domain of Mirrors.

In this moment, she had completely transcended any lower framework and stood firmly as a Thirteenth Dimensional Existence.

It wasn’t as simple as her possessing the Origin’s essence either—if it were, Ash would have wiped out all of existence long ago.

Instead, it was his act of writing her into a legend that amplified every aspect of her being and ultimately became the very thing that could make her goal a possible reality.

----

Kaguya slowly rose to her feet as she was sprawled on the grounds.

In this moment, she was wearing almost nothing — only thin strips of silver fabric that barely covered her important areas, leaving most of her pale, flawless skin exposed to the cool breeze.

But one thing about her one could see at a glance.... was that her beauty had transcended any state before.

Her long white hair had grown even longer, cascading down her back like a river of moonlight reaching past her knees.

And her eyes were now pure mirrors, reflecting everything around her with perfect clarity. Behind her swayed eleven elegant fox tails, each one shimmering with newfound power.

Kaguya looked up at the sky, her mirrored eyes reflecting the clouds above.

She felt no real resentment toward Ash — not necessarily. But toward that voice... the one she assumed belonged to the man Kagami had shown her in the vision... she felt something sharper.

A faint, dangerous smile curved her lips.

"I’ll give you a good beating," she whispered to the empty sky. "Maybe even near death... just to make sure you remember me."

With those words, she vanished in a flicker of silver light, disappearing into the vastness of Reality Five.

----

While being in the thirteenth dimensional level, Kaguya was far from being strong enough to be even a mere maid of a respectable faction.

To be technical, she was at the Primordial Hierarchy Saint rank, which was nothing more than a beginning to many of the beings in True Reality.

But it wasn’t like that thought had crossed her mind one bit.

Kagami stood motionless, unable to look away as the symphony of memories continued. Twenty thousand years of Kaguya’s journey unfolded before him in vivid, unbroken detail.

--

Reality Five was known as a Mana Comprehension Reality — a place where even the smallest things could be deeply understood, where insight came easier than in any other verse.

With Origin’s Essence flowing through her veins, Kaguya’s path was unlike anything Kagami could have imagined.

And whether it was her intention or not.... from the day she woke up in her future domain...

She began walking the path of becoming the Absolute Mirror.

Her journey unfolded without significant struggle.

During the first two millennia of her existence, she devoted herself solely to travel and the pursuit of knowledge.

Yet, amidst this seemingly tranquil period, she grew ever more formidable, empowered by the passive influence of the Origin’s Essence.

Any concept, trans-concept, talent, or skill she encountered was grasped instantaneously, as though comprehension came as naturally as breathing.

A mere glance at an individual employing a Concept was sufficient for her to achieve complete mastery, while the briefest observation of an opponent’s combat style enabled her to devise counters and transcend their abilities with effortless precision.

After ten thousand years had passed, Kaguya had firmly established her reputation.

From the Thirteenth Dimensional existence to the Seventeenth, she triumphed over one formidable rival after another with graceful precision, her power and skill intensifying with each victory.

During this era, she managed to gain influence over Mirrors, a feat that ultimately raised her to the revered rank of Ancestor.

In that same millennium, the Domain of Mirrors came into being. From then on, it grew into what it’s known as today—a stunning realm of gleaming spires and living mirrors that amplified power and wisdom for her people.

Through it all, Kagami watched with a heavy heart.

"What... exactly did he give her?" he wondered, his voice tinged with both joy and emotion at seeing his granddaughter’s rise.

He couldn’t make sense of it at all.

"She looks almost as broken as he is..." he murmured, eyes locked on her.

He had witnessed her transformation from the spirited young fox he once knew into a being of remarkable transcendence.

Yet, amid her moments of triumph, he discerned something more subtle — an unshakable, ever-present sensation she seemed to bear.

She perpetually felt observed.

It was a gaze emanating from some distant, unfathomable place — never threatening, yet always there. It lingered through each of her achievements, every quiet night, and every monumental ascent in power.

The visions intensified, accelerating toward their inevitable conclusion.

By the end, she had achieved what entities within Reality Nine could only dream of attaining.

Kaguya had ascended to the pinnacle of the Twentieth Dimensional Existence, standing but a single step away from transcending into an Idea — a pure conceptual force capable of existing independently from any reality.

As the flood of memories finally dissipated, Kagami found himself once more within the mirrored chamber, facing the colossal floating mirror from which twelve ethereal tails extended in graceful arcs.

"To be an Idea, huh?" he murmured, narrowing his eyes with measured contemplation.

HUMMMMMM!!!!
