Tang San’s Twin Sister

Chapter 231

Chapter 231

About two hours, coffee, a meal and a bath later, Yin felt like a human being. She even wore her own clothing and no longer looked like a patient. Comfy training clothes, her hair braided down her back, and she was missing Jiang and Tang San. Once she returned, she would need to apologise a lot ... if none of them found her first.

She was rather certain she made a splash. Just a small one.

The clan master of the Blue Lightning Tyrant dragon walked into her tent. "Feeling human again?" He asked, and she nodded.

"Yes." She said and smiled. Obviously, he was again more or less topless, so why bother with a vest when you wore it most of the time open?

"You remember I wanted to ask an impudent question?"

"Yes." He laughed. "You can ask as many weird questions as you want. But first, I want to thank you in the name of the entire blue lightning tyrant dragon Miss Tang." He bowed, and she stumbled up.

"Don't. Please." She said. "You are injured as well, and you shouldn't bow like this."

"Nevertheless." He said and looked at her. "You have saved many lives, including my own."

"I did it because I was asked to. Because your clan is precious to my friend and to the Grandmaster. Who, although unofficial, has been my teacher and more of a father figure to me than my actual father."

"I see. Yu Hua, I figured out. Is that your friend...?" He asked, and she nodded.

"Yep. Spirit Master per excellence and one Hell of a fine Tailor. He is one of my very best friends, Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon is his home, and he has family here. I could not remain still when I figured out about the attack." She said. "Even more so due to my relationship with the Grandmaster."

"I see. I must say my Son has fine taste in his students." He mustered her. "You are talented and, from what I saw, possess plenty of secrets."

"Sure." She smiled. "I do."

"I made some inquiries about Yu Hua...and his family. I think you would like this back?" He held forward the wooden token. "A small girl said she should probably give it back now. To you...or her brother. Yu Hua."

"It's hers." Tang Yin said. "It's a symbol that, for those within my clan, means that we should help that person. Protect them. They are our friends." She said. "If Yu Hua gave it to her, she should keep it."

"I will give it back to her then...Tang Sect, you said your clan is called?" He stared at the wooden Sigil.

"Yes."

"I have never heard of you before. How come. You are powerful, even alone, Miss Tang. Yet. I know of no spirit master your age with your

powers, never knew you existed. I know Tang San isn't your real name either, but I won't ask for your real one. I just want to know. Whom am I dealing with, who is standing in front of me...a friend I know that much, still with my clan so weakened..."

"I am not surprised you never heard of me." She said with a smile. "Except maybe shifty rumours. I don't want to go into detail. I don't think it would be wise, so I'll stick to Tang San if you don't mind. What I can tell you, though, is...Tang is just a small smattering of a clan, we are not powerful yet..." She grinned. "...but we will be. Rest assured. I am vice master after all, and we would always be delighted to have blue lightning tyrant dragon as friends."

"You have us, or what remains already, as your friends." He took her hand and placed a blue metal token into it. "We also have a sigil for that. Weakened as we are, our name still carries weight, and one day we will shine more gloriously than before, Miss Tang. Your actions will not be forgotten."

"I know." She grinned and tucked the token into her storage after running her fingers over it. "I know. May I ask my question now?"

He blinked and then laughed, a booming laugh filled with delight.

"Sure, ask away with your imprudent question."

"Wonderful." She smiled. "So I have been wondering. Why is it that men with dragonic-type spirits always walk around topless, or more or less topless?"

He quieted, and then it was as if he was thinking about something.

"I mean, there are shirts, shirts with wing slits in the back or backless that look totally badass." She said, and he remained quiet.

"I never thought about that." He then said. "Admittedly, it was not a question I expected."

"It's a thing, believe me." She said, and he hummed.

"I find it hard to jud...” He turned, and a roar echoed over the compound. Paling the titled douluo did his best to hurry his current top speed in worry for his people outside, and Yin paled for an entirely different reason.

She dashed past him in the sky was a familiar figure. Ashen-haired, stormcloud-eyed and with a grim expression ended in every plane of his face and a thunderous expression. Two ashen grey wings from his back kept him aloft, spirit energy viciously curling around him, armoured head to toe in black and with a single silver chain attached where a silver emblem dangled with their clan symbol.

Next to her, at the sight of the sigil, the master of Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon sighed in relief before his gaze wandered to her.

"Your Clan head?" He asked about her pale expression.

"No. Worse." She said and straightened up. Very Jittery and nervous inside.

"Worse?"

"My boyfriend."

He looked at her, then at the male glaring at her in the sky. "Ahhh." Then he patted her shoulder as if in an expression of condolences. "I know that expression from my wife when she was still alive...good luck."
