Chapter 990 - 989: Awakening

Tangtang and Guoguo, the sisters, succumbed to the effects of the drug and fell into a deep sleep. Xu Ke got up from the bed, left the lounge, and went outside.

When the sisters finally emerged from the room, the dining table in the dining area was already laid out with delicious food.

Xu Ke didn’t believe the sisters’ words, especially after Guoguo said those three words ’all right’, making him firmer in thinking Tangtang and Guoguo were hiding their real condition due to fear of troubling him.

"I think your bodies don’t seem very good, maybe we should check at the hospital." Xu Ke said as he picked up the keys beside him, seemingly ready to rush out to take them to see a doctor.

But this was an extremely private matter, Tangtang and Guoguo’s sisters didn’t want anyone to examine their bodies.

Besides, their bodies were actually fine, just their waists felt a bit uncomfortable.
