Chapter 897: Get Out
Chapter 897: Get Out
"Or what?" The man with brightly colored hair gritted his teeth and glared at his partner, "Do you expect me to stay here and perform a tango for you?"
"What do you mean by that? Do you not even consider us brothers in your heart? Otherwise, his hand has been messed up by this guy, and you don’t even want revenge for him, that’s fine, but you actually want to run away. Are you still our leader? Are you even qualified to be our leader?"
The man with dreadlocks questioned repeatedly, like one slap after another hitting him hard across the face.
"Is that how you think of me?" The man with brightly colored hair looked at his brother incredulously and asked.
"It’s not about how I think of you; it’s about what you’ve done. Your actions make me think of you this way, what can I do? I also want to think better of you, but have you given me that chance? Look at you now, you’re nothing but a cowardly deserter." The man with dreadlocks vented his dissatisfaction fueled by alcohol.
The man with brightly colored hair was utterly amused by his so-called brother.
"I thought after being together for so long, you’d understand what kind of person I am, but it seems I was naive. You’re truly heartless. Since you think I’m unfit to be your leader, and believe I’m a cowardly deserter, then go ahead. I’ll stand right here and watch, watch how you avenge him. Go on, your enemy is right there in front of you, don’t hesitate, don’t make me look down on you."
The man with brightly colored hair no longer hurried to leave. He supported another comrade and stood in an inconspicuous corner of the private room, watching the man with dreadlocks as he made a gesture of invitation.
This time, it was the turn of the man with dreadlocks to feel like he was on a burning pyre, but he didn’t see it that way himself. He just felt that his earlier judgment had been blind, how could he choose such a coward to be his leader, who only knows how to run when danger arises, totally unfit for the leader position.
He said to his former leader, "Then stand there and watch closely, watch how I avenge my brother, I’ll make sure you admit defeat wholeheartedly."
After saying these words, the man with dreadlocks pounded his chest, looking disdainfully at his former leader, then shifted his focus to Xu Ke.
"Done pounding? If you are, then get moving." Xu Ke looked at the other’s previous gorilla-like actions and said with some disgust in his eyes.
Xu Ke felt he had been polite enough to the other, but Xu Ke’s gaze and expression made the man with dreadlocks feel that Xu Ke looked down on him, this conclusion made him especially angry, while also strengthening his desire to prove himself.
"Do you look down on me? You, a follower, what makes you qualified to look down on me? I will teach you a lesson, let you know what it means to have a dog’s eyes look low on people."
The man with dreadlocks rolled up his sleeves and charged towards Xu Ke like a bull seeing a red cloth, full of vigor, as if he could really hurt Xu Ke.
Xu Ke watched the other’s charging movement, just slightly shifted to the side, causing the other to stagger and fall flat on the ground, looking utterly humiliating.
"Is this your ability?" Xu Ke’s tone carried a hint of sarcasm as he spoke.
The man with dreadlocks lying on the ground blushed immediately, whether from anger or shame was unclear, but one thing was for sure, he considered Xu Ke his sworn enemy. When he turned to look at Xu Ke, his eyes seemed to carry a red gleam.
"If you want to sleep, go home to sleep, that’s the floor, not your bed." Xu Ke looked at the other laying on the ground, showing no signs of getting up, and couldn’t help but say.
The man with dreadlocks felt the gaze of everyone in the room on him, feeling both embarrassed and indignant. He had never hated or disliked someone so much before, and Xu Ke was the first.
He got up from the ground, at this moment, his drunkenness had mostly dissipated, at least his actions in standing up showed no signs of being drunk.
He looked at Xu Ke, gritting his teeth, "You’re the first person to make me lose face like this, you’re good, I’ll remember you, if I don’t beat you to the point where you’re searching for your teeth on the ground today, I’ll take your surname." The man with dreadlocks pointed a finger at Xu Ke.
"No, please don’t, we don’t have a disgraceful descendant like you in our family, taking my surname? Are you worthy?" Xu Ke replied mockingly, successfully causing the other to lose his mind, leaving him with only one thought, which was to kill him!
"You fucking have guts."
"Do I have guts that need your acknowledgment? Can you fight or not? If you can, hurry up and fight, if not, get out, don’t waste time here, everybody’s quite busy, nobody wants to stay here wasting time with you." Xu Ke said mercilessly, his arrogant attitude was like rubbing the other’s face into the ground with force.
The man already hating Xu Ke grew even more insane under Xu Ke’s provocation.
He charged at Xu Ke once more, though perhaps due to a lack of systematic training, his way of fighting was truly brute and rough, but the advantage was that it was entirely unpredictable, without any pattern, using just sheer reckless force to advance, making one quite baffled, unable to predict his next move.
On anyone else, this’d be a sure advantage, but his opponent was Xu Ke, hence these advantages became somewhat irrelevant, since regardless of what, he couldn’t defeat Xu Ke with his skills.
Xu Ke toyed with him like a cat plays with a mouse, watching him struggle in his grasp, slowly wearing down his will, then when bored, struck a decisive blow.
The man who had been knocked down to the ground numerous times finally didn’t get up right away this time, instead lying on the ground, wriggling like a maggot.
"Can you still go on?" Xu Ke nudged the other’s leg with his toe as he spoke.
The previously overbearing man at this point became as good as mute, taking a kick without any reaction.
"If you don’t want another beating, get out." Xu Ke said, glancing at the direction of the door.
The man who had been playing dead on the ground finally reacted again, glanced at Xu Ke, then got up and walked towards the door silently, but just after taking a step, someone called to him, and the one calling wasn’t anyone else but his long-watching audience, brother Qian.
"Are you deaf to human speech? He told you to roll out, not walk out." Brother Qian said with a smile.
