Substitute Bride: Utterly Pampered by Her Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1465: Abortion Surgery

Chapter 1465: Abortion Surgery

"Alright, alright, you didn’t do anything wrong, it’s me who can’t control myself. I have no self-restraint when it comes to you, is that better?" Morgan Ashworth coaxed affectionately.

Willow Crawford smiled, "That’s more like it."

"Let’s go home." Morgan held Willow’s little hand and headed home.

...

Tonight, the maid prepared a sumptuous dinner, and Morgan said, "Willow, I know you like light flavors, so I had the chef prepare some refreshing dishes according to your taste. You’ve been too thin lately; you must eat more."

Although today’s dishes were indeed refreshing, Willow seemed to catch that greasy smell again, and she furrowed her delicate brows.

"Willow, eat quickly," Morgan urged.

To prevent Morgan from getting suspicious and worried, Willow picked up the chopsticks and ate a little. Her appetite was small, and she had already eaten as much as she could within her capacity.

"Honey, I’m full."

"You’ve barely eaten anything; have some more."

"My stomach is full; you can feel it." Willow pulled Morgan’s hand to her belly.

Morgan gently rubbed circles on her tummy, "I feel like you could have a bit more soup."

Morgan placed a bowl of soup beside Willow’s hand.

Willow was already at her limit, and smelling the soup made her furrow her brows again. She suddenly sprang up and rushed to the trash can, vomiting uncontrollably.

She threw up all the food she had just eaten, and it was an overwhelming purge.

"Willow, what’s wrong? Why are you vomiting again?" Morgan hurriedly patted her back.

"I’m fine, just have a poor appetite lately..."

At this time, a maid said, "Sir, ma’am has a poor appetite; she feels like vomiting when she sees greasy food. Could it be... that she’s pregnant? These symptoms really resemble those of pregnancy."

Morgan was startled, "What?"

Willow’s heart sank. Morgan didn’t have much experience in this area, didn’t understand pregnancy symptoms, but others did. If she kept this child, her pregnancy would likely be exposed.

Once Morgan found out she was pregnant, he would be willing to risk his life for her sake.

Willow quickly responded, "I’m not pregnant, just have a poor appetite lately, honey. Didn’t the doctor just come for a check-up a few days ago?"

Morgan had always wanted a child, but Willow didn’t want to have one. Besides, her physical condition had been weak since childhood, and having a child would be risky, so he dismissed the idea from his heart.

Now hearing the maid say she might be pregnant made Morgan freeze for a moment, but Willow was right—the private doctor had visited just a few days ago, and she hadn’t been pregnant then.

"Perhaps you’re just feeling unwell; let’s go for a full check-up at the hospital in a few days, so I can be reassured."

Seeing that he wasn’t suspicious, Willow discreetly sighed in relief and nodded obediently, "Okay."

"Then eat some later; I’ll carry you upstairs to rest."

"Alright."

...

Willow lay in bed, her small hand on her flat little belly, her mind already made up—tomorrow she would go to the hospital to have the baby removed.

This matter couldn’t be dragged on any longer; letting it go on would be bad for everyone. Morgan’s health couldn’t afford any accidents.

But, this was her baby.

Their baby.

The baby wouldn’t have a chance to see the world, to see its daddy and mommy.

Willow’s heart ached for the baby. If there’s any blame, it’s on mommy. But mommy has no choice; mommy must save daddy.

"Honey, what are you thinking about?" Morgan sneaked into the quilt after taking a bath.

Willow naturally snuggled over, pouting her crimson lips, "Honey, my stomach feels uncomfortable, could you rub it for me?"

"Alright."

Morgan placed his large hand on Willow’s flat belly, drawing circles, "Do you feel a bit better?"

"Yes, honey, if... I mean, if I were pregnant, would you prefer a daughter or a son?"

Morgan thought for a moment, "Son or daughter, I’d love them both."

"Liar, that response is so generic and dismissive. I hear most men like sons; they can carry on the family lineage, and you have a throne to inherit."

Morgan curled his lips, "Only a little dog would lie about something like this. I’d love any child you have. But, we could have a son and then a daughter, and maybe a few more, that would be best."

"So you’re saying you want me to have a basketball team?"

"Exactly."

Willow giggled, producing an entire team would be beyond even a sow’s capacity; she certainly couldn’t manage that.

Willow placed her small hand atop his large one, "Baby, can you feel it? Daddy and mommy are here with you right now; we both love you. Fate brings us close but keeps us apart; maybe next lifetime."

Willow buried her little face in Morgan’s embrace, closing her eyes as two teardrops slipped down the corner.

...

The next day, Morgan went out to work, and Willow went alone to the hospital.

The doctor said the painless abortion procedure would be quick; she came alone to get rid of the child.

"Doctor, I don’t want this child, please arrange for the surgery."

"Are you sure you don’t want this child? Have you discussed it with your husband?" the doctor asked.

Willow nodded, "Yes, we’ve discussed it."

"Alright, prepare yourself; we’ll begin the painless abortion procedure."

Willow walked into the operating room, lying on the cold surgical table; it was her first time here, and it felt so cold.

Actually, she could’ve spoken to her mommy, but if mommy knew she intended to extract her heart’s blood to save Morgan, mommy would be heartbroken.

She also couldn’t let daddy and mommy know she was pregnant; she had to face and solve this dilemma by herself.

Splat.

The nurse flipped on a hundred lights, and the dazzling light immediately poured down; Willow found it piercingly bright, so she raised her hand a bit to shield her eyes.

The doctor then entered, "We’re starting the procedure now. I’ll administer anesthesia, and once it’s given, you’ll fall asleep. When you open your eyes, the child will have already left your body."

Currently, the baby was still in her belly.

When she opened her eyes later, the baby would be gone.

Willow had made up her mind, but in this moment, her heart still curled painfully; she was really too reluctant, feeling utterly heartbroken.

She was the most heartless mommy in the world.

"Alright, we’re administering anesthesia now." The doctor located the vein on Willow’s arm and guided the needle following the vein’s path, injecting it into Willow’s body.

At that moment, several extended business cars screeched to a halt at the hospital entrance, and a group of men dressed in black got out.

"Move aside! Move aside!"

Morgan stepped out.
