Strongest Nova: Path of Vengeance

Chapter 225: The 3 Gangs

Chapter 225: The 3 Gangs

The Glitchers, Matrix Runners, and Codebreakers quickly came together to talk about something very early in the morning.

"Did you all get the same message?" a man with braided hair asked. He was the Glitchers’ leader and had come here after he received a simple message.

"Yes," a woman in a long flowery dress with two prosthetic arms said. She was another leader from the Matrix Runners. "They are trying to threaten us. I bet it’s not even true."

"It is," the third guy, a man with silver chains around his body spoke. His blue suit appeared dark in the room they were in, but when he walked back to the bright lights hanging above the table, the blue shined once again.

He was the leader of the Codebreakers, a world-renowned hacker.

"I have confirmed with. It is true," the blue-suited man said. "Not only that, but I have also confirmed that they are not just banding together. They have a new boss."

"A new boss?" the girl asked. "Then, is he trying to take us under this ’Blue Oasis’ title as well?"

"What is this note even? ’Surrender to the Blue Oasis, or get ready to be eradicated.’ Like, do they expect us to surrender to them so easily?"

"That’s why I messaged you two to come together," the man said. "To see where your thoughts lie."

"It’s simple. I’m not going to be part of them at all. I will fight them with all our might, even if that’s the last thing I do," the woman said.

"Same here," the man with the braids said.

"Then we are all of the same mind," the blue-suited man said. "Then... should we get together to fight them?"

"You want us to defend together?" the woman asked.

"Is this some power in unity bullshit?" the other man asked.

"It is not bullshit that there is power in unity, but I do acknowledge the freedom of being a solo," the blue-suited man said as he brought out something. "However, I do not believe that we should be defending at all."

"What do we do then?" the others asked.

A small hologram appeared in front of them, changing to become the map of the Low. They recognized the map and noticed a location that was marked on the map.

"What’s that?" the woman asked, seeing a small blinking light at one location on the map. She wasn’t aware of anything of importance belonging to that location.

"This... is the current gathering spot of the boss and leaders of the Blue Oasis. After I found out about the message, I hacked into one of the boss’s subordinate’s phones and found this location," the man said. "I have monitored this place for the past 2 days, and they always come here after for their meeting with the other 4 gangs."

"So... what are you suggesting?" the man with the braids asked. "Is it..."

"You guessed it," the man said. "There is no point in waiting to be attacked when we know we won’t willingly hand over the gang to the others. So, I suggest that while they are unaware, we should take the offensive and attack them first."

"If we manage to kill the boss and the four leaders of the other gangs, they will all be no different than headless chickens. In that instance, we will be the new rulers of the Low," the man said with a wide smile.

The other two looked at him weirdly. "That’s a plan I like," the man with the braids said. "But I must ask my boss."

"Same here," the woman said. "If they find out I acted without letting them know what was happening, I will be dead."

"No need," the blue-suited man said, tapping on the small disk that was showing the map. When tapped, the image on the hologram changed to that of an old man in his 50s.

"Boss?" the woman looked surprised.

"Boss!" the braided man looked in surprise as well.

Then, the two looked at each other in confusion. "What do you mean boss?" the man asked the woman.

"What do you mean boss? That’s my boss."

"No, that’s my boss," the woman said.

"That’s our boss," the blue-suited man said. "He was acting secretly to puppet the 3 of us around all this time. I don’t think he was ever planning to let us know."

"How did you find out?" the woman asked.

"I let him know what was going on. After that, I decided to tell your bosses as well and that was when he revealed himself as your boss as well. I hadn’t believed it fully until now, but I suppose he really is the boss."

The man tapped on the disk and the boss started moving and speaking.

"All 3 of your people need to come together for this. Fight as one," the man said. "I will not lose any one of you."

"So, there you have it. You have explicit orders from your boss to help me," the man said. "So, can we ready for it?"

"I’m more than happy to be a part of this now that I have the permission," the braided man said.

"I never had any problems in the first place," the woman said. "When do we start?"

"In 4 hours. Do you have your important subordinates ready to fight?" the man asked.

"They have been ready since we received the message 2 days ago," the woman said. "They will fight at any moment."

"Get them ready to go then," the blue-suited man said. "We shall arrive like a storm and drench them all in their own blood."

The 3 left their place after that and began to prepare for the upcoming battle.

The Codebreakers were already ready, so there wasn’t much for them to prepare.

The Glitchers were all alert as well, so they didn’t need to prepare anymore as well.

Finally, the Matrix Runners had been edging to fight for a while, so when they found out that they were getting the change, they were more than excited about it.

In 4 hours, nearly 200 people gathered silently, not letting anyone know that they had been moving at all.

Most of the 200 people had useless powers or were in fact just powerless altogether. However, the ones that did have prepared the best.

The leader of the Codebreakers looked at the map and nodded to the others. "The one whose phone I hacked has arrived," he said. "They are there. Let’s go>"

Once all of them were ready, they moved out. They took dozens of vehicles, rushing through the streets quickly as they arrived at the location where the meeting was happening.

People in the streets feared what was happening. They had never seen so many cars together, moving at such a fast speed. They were scared of what was going to happen next.

They all had to go there before the other gangs could be notified. As such, they hurried as best as they could with weapons ready to shoot.

When they arrived at the location, they were more than happy.

"They don’t know," the man said. "We got this!"

They jumped out of the car the moment it stopped and ran into the warehouse to catch everyone off guard. However, when they got inside, there was no one at all.

"What’s going on?" the woman asked.

"Where are they?" the man with the braids asked.

"I don’t know?" the blue-suited man said. "Maybe underground? Let’s follow the phone for now."

He ran in a direction, following the location marker, and quickly he and a dozen others arrived in an empty room with a single chair in the center.

There, appearing as a hologram from the phone, was a girl whose face they could barely make out.

"I see all three of you are here," the girl said.

"Who are you?" the man asked, realizing that it was a live message.

"Me? The one who you would’ve been your boss for just 1 month, had you not tried to attack me," she said. "But I suppose I can take this as your refusal."

She took out something which everyone saw was some sort of remote. The moment they realized that every single one of them panicked.

"It’s a trap!" the braided man shouted, turning around to run before anyone else. However, before he even made it out of the room, Nova clicked the thing.

"Boom!"

Nova, Sol, and the 4 bosses, along with a few other people watched the place from far away, staring at the giant ball of fire that grew from where the meeting warehouse was.

"So easy," Nova said, as she looked at the plume of fire and smoke dissipate into the sky. The explosion had been so large that they could feel the building shake from where they were.

Fortunately, the debris hadn’t flown out far enough.

"I suppose we’ll have to treat Vera with some new toys for helping us with this," Nova said. "If not for her, we would have never known that you were hacked."

"My fault for using an older model phone," Sol said. "I’m sorry."

"Don’t be sorry," Nova said. "This helped instead."

"Still..." Sol felt a little down.

"I don’t believe they all died in the explosion, Boss," Aleone said from the side. "Many should’ve still survived."

"I know," Nova said. "That’s why I sent those two with your people to clean up the rest."

Stanley and Fred walked out of a hiding spot, followed by a few dozen members from the four gangs. They were here to kill anyone who didn’t surrender.
