Chapter 221 Final Day

’What the hell is going on’ Roman muttered as he placed his hands on his head.

’What kind of dream was that, I thought I was going to die... shit, being this weak in a world like this is the primary cause of this, I’m so afraid I’m dreaming of demons’

Roman climbed down from his bed and immediately took off the clothes he had worn to sleep, as they were wet.

He looked outside the window and the sun was just starting to rise, today was the final day of the tournament, and after today his fate would be decided.

Roman already knew what he wanted, he couldn’t go back to just being a breeding male for the Queen, he wanted power, not so he could abuse it but so he could protect himself and his family.

Since the demons were already making their move, he needed to move quickly, he had no idea when their attack would come, but he knew the demons would attack all human kingdoms with their entire might, and it was his duty to stop them.

Roman chuckled as the thought came to mind, he placed his wet clothes on his bed before walking into the bathroom.

Even though the water was sparkling, he still tossed a cleansing crystal inside before stepping in.

Roman sighed in relief as he submerged his entire body leaving just his head, the water washed the sweat and grim off his body.

Roman stayed there for a while, letting the water calm his thoughts. His breathing returned to normal, and the tight feeling in his chest eased.

He closed his eyes, thinking about the dream again. It still felt too real, like a warning instead of just fear, a moment ago he thought his life was over, but it was all a dream.

After soaking and washing his body, Roman opened his eyes and stepped out of the bath. Water dripped from his body as he grabbed a cloth to dry himself.

"Enough," he muttered softly as he shook his head.

’Today isn’t the day to be afraid’ Roman reminded himself and stepped out of the bathroom, naked, since his underwear needed to be changed.

He opened the wardrobe and grabbed a new pair of clothes and underwear, but before he could put them on, he heard a knock and turned towards the door.

"Give me a minut..."

Before Roman could finish his sentence the door was pushed open as Victoria stepped in, she froze as she saw Roman naked holding his clothes in his hands.

Roman didn’t try to move away or cover himself, he just stood there as her eyes wandered all over his body, and even though Roman wasn’t fully erect, he was semi-hard and that alone was enough to get Victoria’s blood racing.

Roman finally turned around as Victoria didn’t move or speak, he was surprised as she acted that way but he casually placed his clothes on the bed and proceeded to put on his underwear.

Victoria cleared her throat before finally speaking, "How are you feeling today?" She asked.

"I’m feeling well and ready" Roman spoke, he didn’t want to tell her about the dreams he had.

The dream or past life of the founder he was seeing, Roman was planning to keep that a secret, while the dream about the demon, he had no reason to tell Victoria since it was simply a dream.

"Since you’ll be using your full capabilities, try to win so you can convince everyone, that you’re worth training, I’m sure your abilities alone would convince them, but try hard, I believe in you" Victoria spoke as she walked out of the room.

She closed the door behind her and stood outside the door for some seconds, her breathing was uneven and slowly returned to normal. Usually, she doesn’t concern herself with males, but Roman was different.

Even without seeing his naked body, Victoria already wanted him, but now she wanted him even more, her desire was amplified to the max.

"Why was she acting like that, I was half expecting her to make some kind of move and I’ll reciprocate and I’ll end up banging her, she’s acting like a virgin, she can’t be a virgin that’s ridiculous"

Roman finished putting on his clothes and stretched his body a little before stepping out, he didn’t need to be told it was time.

"I’m not hungry right now" Roman said to her as he walked past, she nodded and immediately turned around.

He arrived at the door and it was pushed open for him, Roman stepped outside feeling the cold morning wind against his skin, today was going to be the day that changed everything.

"What are you happy about?" He heard Ava’s voice from behind.

"What do you think, I’m going to win the tournament and take my place as the best student in our class" Roman spoke.

"You think you stand a chance against Aurelia or me? I know you’re powerful, and smart, but it’s nothing in the face of absolute power" Ava spoke as she walked past him.

’She’s talking about her spell, wait...how do I even block that, I haven’t thought about it yet, I just have to stop her before she uses it... fighting both of them is definitely going to be harder than I expect, but I’m sure I can scrape by’

The nobles arrived one after another, each of them taking a seat, after yesterday’s attack, they had a lot of discuss and didn’t pay any attention to Roman or the tournament until the Queen arrived.
