"You report to her, tell her I’m tired from the battle and went to rest, not that she’ll ask of me" Victoria spoke as she jumped down from the wall.

Evelyn watched Victoria leave, her brows slightly furrowed. "Still behaving like a child..." she muttered under her breath.

Just then, someone landed lightly behind her but she already knew who it was.

"My Lady" the figure spoke.

Evelyn turned and saw her second in command behind her. She had dust on her clothes and she was visibly sweating.

"It seems you outdid yourself" Evelyn spoke.

"The size of the demons scared everyone at the wall, I pulled out all stops but there was something wrong"

"The demons were weak... too weak. I know not all demons are powerful, but these were beyond weak, I saw you didn’t bother to fight, did you notice it too?"

Roman’s hawk came close to the palace and then he released the spell, he sighed as he looked into the room, the girls were all standing up now since Reina already told them that the battle was over.

Roman’s heart was still beating loudly in his chest, because he was still shocked from what had happened earlier, and he wasn’t afraid, there was no way the enemy would get to him.

Roman went back to the room he was staying in, the palace was locked so no one can leave, especially the students, so he couldn’t leave.

’I should have used my summon to alert her, but it can’t talk so how would I, and today’s tournament is already over so I’ll have to wait till tomorrow’
