Chapter 209: House Frostbane VS All Other Houses [1]

-----

Arthur Pendragon wielded his Divine Spirit Sword, a Spirit born within his own Spirit Orb that had taken the form of the true Excalibur. A single swing unleashed a devastating ray of bright holy light.

Ashur laughed as his divine golden artifacts gathered sunlight and fired hundreds of beams. He stood completely still, unlike the other two.

Reina roared, her demonic aura exploding into phantasmal blue flames that wrapped around her naginata. The weapon resembled a giant oni roaring mightily as she thrust it forward with enough power to shatter hills.

Louis simply stood there with his arms spread wide, allowing all three attacks to strike him at the same time.

BOOOM!

Arthur, Ashur, and Reina smiled as they watched the explosion. They stepped back, waiting for the smoke to clear, expecting to see Louis on the ground regretting his foolish confidence.

However, when the smoke dissipated, Louis emerged completely unscathed. His skin gleamed with a metallic silver color, and ashen gray scales covered several areas of his body.

He had combined his False Dragon Scales with his Iron Body, forging a nearly impenetrable defense.

"What?!"

"Hm?"

"The hell?!"

While they stood in shock, Louis took a step forward. "Now it's my turn. I hope you are ready."

"Wha…?!"

Arthur's eyes widened as Louis targeted him first. His fists rushed forward. Arthur tried to defend with his blade and aura, but his sword exploded upon impact with Louis's scales, which felt as hard as metal.

"Eh?!"

Louis's fists rained down on Arthur's face, chest, and stomach, delivering dozens of blows. Bones cracked and internal organs twisted in agony.

"Aaaaaaaggghh!"

Arthur screamed in horror, unable to defend himself. Louis swung his leg, kicking him in the neck and slamming his face into the dirt. He pressed his foot against the back of Arthur's head and rubbed it roughly.

"Tell me, Prince Arthur, how does dirt taste?"

"Ngaaaahhhh!"

"That's enough, you barbarian!"

Reina attacked, kicking Louis in the neck before swinging her naginata forward. She unleashed dozens of piercing and slashing strikes that generated explosions of demonic blue fire.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

"How do you like that, huh?! How do you like—ACK!"

The moment she grew cocky, Louis's hand shot out from the explosions, grasping her mouth and silencing her.

Her eyes widened as Louis emerged from the smoke. Flames covered his body, yet he seemed completely unaffected by the pain.

"So noisy. Know your place."

Without mercy, Louis pummeled Reina into the ground, striking her head repeatedly with his fists. She desperately tried to grapple him, wrapping her powerful legs around his neck, but Louis used his bare hands to pry her incredible strength apart and force her legs wide open.

"A-Ahhh! H-How dare you!"

Embarrassed at being fully exposed, Reina flushed with shame. Louis swiftly swung his fist into her face, crushing her nose and breaking it. Teeth flew from her mouth and her eyes nearly burst, bleeding uncontrollably.

"A pity. You had such a pretty face."

Louis wasted no time. He seized her naginata and kicked her out of the arena as if she were nothing.

"Hm, not a bad spoil of war. May I keep it, Director?"

"Y-You…"

The director was stunned by what he saw. Louis was so overwhelmingly strong that the fight was not even close.

"I assume that is a yes," Louis said. He refined the naginata into another Soul Treasure. "Hm, my soul is quite large. I guess I could take a couple more… or maybe sacrifice it for Gungnir. Ah, right. You are still there, Ashur. Busy preparing some incredible spell, sorcerer?"

"Hahaha! I am honestly amazed by the strength you have shown!" Ashur laughed. "But I still have to defeat you, Louis Drakeheart!"

Ashur fused his artifacts together, creating a giant golem made of gold that resembled an ancient king of Mesopotamia wielding a massive golden sword.

"Face my power!"

The giant charged forward. Its enormous sword crashed down, clashing against Louis and the floor beneath him. Destructive attacks shattered and split the stone of the arena.

The entire arena watched in awe as smoke spread everywhere. When it cleared, Louis stood unscathed, his hands easily catching the sharp blade.

"A decent technique, but too weak to call it a trump card, Ashur," Louis said, glaring into his eyes. "For someone with such a confident personality, you have no strength to back it up."

"...?!" Ashur's eyes widened as Louis gathered energy into his hand. His skin and scales transformed into a long blade born from his own body. "What…! You said you were not using weapons?"

"Weapons? This is my hand," Louis laughed. He swung the blade forward as his aura surged with heaven-defying power.

"Dragon King's Divine Blade Art!"

"First Form – Ascending Heavens!"

To Ashur's disbelief and horror, a devastating strike of white sword energy sliced through the entire monstrous golem, splitting it in half as Ashur screamed.

SLAAASH!

"W-WHAT IS THIS?! AAAAHHHHH!"

BOOOMMM!!!

The golem exploded into pieces. Ashur barely escaped with his life, covered in deep slashing wounds and vomiting blood.

Louis walked toward him.

"What? Want some more?"

"...! I-I…"

Ashur, a prideful and narcissistic young man, could not believe he had been humiliated. He knelt on the ground as Louis swung his leg and kicked him out of the ring.

"Guuaaack!"

Ashur fell, vomiting blood and teeth. His once beautiful and handsome face was now disfigured.

The battle had already been decided.

"Who wants to go next? The entire class? Come to me. I will take you all on."

Louis spoke with absolute confidence. The students' eyes widened as they stepped back in a mix of awe, admiration, and fear.

Yet some stern characters furrowed their brows and stepped forward with anger.

"How dare you harm the prince's beautiful face!" roared Ashur's bodyguard, the tall and muscular Zaidu.

"I will not let this slide, Louis! I will avenge my brother's honor!" A tall blonde knight lady stepped forward. She was Arthur's older sister, Ingrid Galatea Pendragon.

"Sister…! I-I will not tolerate this!" The shy yet strong red oni, Rinkah, stepped forward, gripping her huge, spiked club.

"Reina's sacrifice will not go in vain! Sister, we must fight him!"

"W-Wait!"

Sakura and Takumi Sumeragi, the siblings, also stepped forward, though Sakura seemed to be forced by her brother.

"I guess I should go too."

One of the dragons decided to join as well: Yudrak Drakeheart Amaterasu of the Yamato House.

"Hm, mostly the Yamato House. Are the other houses cowards and weaklings? I guess I should not have bothered," Louis shrugged.

"Y-You bastard! Who are you calling weaklings?!"

"You will see!"

"We will kill you!"

"Kill him!"

"Damn bastard!"

"We challenge you to a duel!"

"It is fine if he agrees, right, Director?!"

"RIGHT?!"

"E-Eh?! Wait a second, students!" The director panicked as he saw almost the entire Yamato, Camelot, and Mesopotamia Houses turning against Louis with burning hostility.

In their eyes, he had already become the villain of their lives, an evil force powerful enough to humiliate the figures they respected most.

"F-Fools, stop…! Do not provoke him!" Kaguya trembled while glaring at the members of her house. "Do not do something foolish! Stop this!"

"We will regain the honor of the Amaterasu family, Kaguya-sama!"

"No! Wait!"

Kaguya felt like tearing her hair out in frustration as her house members ignored her orders and rushed toward Louis.
