Chapter 642: Leaving Paradise

By the time the day had ended, many of the butterflies within the butterfly paradise had returned from wherever they had gone or they had returned to the normal actions that the group and seen when they arrived. It was also clear that all the energies had returned to normal here. Interacting and adjusting with strange beauty.

The group had also managed to make some major growth in personal developments.

With the better materials and herbs they had gathered, the group had been able to reinforce their beasts significantly. Let alone the very amazing fact that the butterfly paradise had a higher amount of energies of nearly ever form.

This had allowed all of their beasts to greatly improve themselves and stabilize themselves as a whole. But where things really took a turn was with Isa, Grace, and Clark.

Isa had already managed to help the wind caterpillar change from in to the wind caterpillar cocoon. It had the potential to be a wind monarch or a storm butterfly, maybe even something more unique. However, Clark had a strong inkling that it would be a form of wind monarch due to the fact that Isa had been using only wind crystals to boost its growth.

Everyone had witnessed the growth of Shy. She had unveiled a new form that was much larger than the small doll like form she had before. She also had clearly gained a great amount of strength and understanding of darkness and shadow energies. That was seen as she had been training with the midnight eel to manipulate the shadows that it hid in at all times.

This was a bonus of being in a peaceful place. Normally, the violent jungle could never be a place for beasts to train without worries. This dungeon was the best possible place for all of them to do this. The midnight eel had even gained the ability to wrap itself in the shadows that it hid in when it left them. In turn, upping its potential attack methods when defending Maria from greater threats.

Devi's change was even greater. He had become very intimidating to all beasts. So much more intimidating that the lord of this dungeon had shown itself for a split second to look upon the unique death energies that Devi now radiated when he did not control his strength as much as he could.

Clark in turn, had managed to begin better meditating. He had been incorporating the more potent energies shared with him. Crim's focus on sharing his dragon energy with Clark while also strengthening his slime core as a celestial slime being a major focus too. It had greatly altered both the binds Clark had while also strengthening his body to yet another level.

When it came to Grace, things were very unique.

When the group had gathered themselves, they noticed that Ralph and Grace were not coming over. As they moved toward them, they saw that Ralph was calmly waiting for Grace to leave meditations.

Around her, multiple spring breeze butterflies and some glacial butterflies had gathered. They were bringing denser wind and ice energies nearby. While this would have been odd, it was clear that they were working with the frost finch.

There was a peace that had inspired kindness from these beasts who recognized illness within Grace and between her and the partner she was bonded with. In that, they had acted to share more peaceful forms of wind and ice energies with her.

In response to this, Grace and the frost finch had begun meditating while consuming every single ice and wind herb that they could. Ralph had been slowly handing them over for the last six hours.

The results were clear as day.

Grace's face had gained more color. She also appeared to be breathing with a much more steady pace than before. Along with this, the general frost that had always been appearing around her had faded.

The frost finches' body had also changed again. It loosened up from the solid ice that it had created to keep the ice and wind energies within its body from overwhelming Grace's heart.

Because the butterflies had brought calmer energies together to the first finch and it had consumed the herbs needed to help grace, it had been able to advance more than before. Its body was easily two and a half, almost three, times the size of what it had been before. Its ice like feathers had more details while it appeared to have developed a more solid body overall.

Since Clark had the analysis skill, he knew of the potential it had to now become a form of frost, glacial, ice, winter, or otherwise phoenix. Because of this, it was slowly advancing to what it had the potential for along with helping Grace to cleanse the injuries from her illness of fusing with energies her body could not handle.

Seeing that Grace was not the only one happy about it, Clark gave Ralph a pat on the back. It was very clear that he had meticulously been arranging the herbs from the weakest to the strongest, slowly increasing which energy dense herbs were given as Grace and the frost finch were adjusting to things.

"It's time to move, can you?" Ralph saw the others and softly whispered to Grace and the frost finch.

"Of course! I feel much better than before. Thank you all for your help." Grace smiled as the butterflies danced in the air around them. "Clark, can we leave some herb flower seeds here? As a thank you?"

Grace's question did not surprise anyone. They all knew that the butterflies had allowed them to be here because they showed peaceful sincerity without a single shred of harming this paradise. However, it was still a great blessing to have been here at all. Anything that they could do was enough to allow some closer to the amazing boons they had gained by being here.

"I thought something might happen like this. The lord butterfly was even nice enough to keep watch over us when there was a lot of beasts trying to sniff out the tantalizing scent of the crystal butterfly cocoon." He was not a fool. The system had said that such a rare and useful materials would attract a lot of beasts.

"I plan to plant some of the dragon lily bulbs from my taming space here. They can help the dragon butterflies and any related dragon type beast here. There are very few herbs that seem to have dragon energies. Just a few wisps of dragon energy here and there that made a few of the dragon butterflies exist."

Along with this, Clark also took some shadow grass from his taming space. The plant that had started to grow nearby the moonlight pool where he got the healing water. It would be nice for the butterflies to have new herbs. Especially those with fewer herbs than others overall.

It only took the group a few moments to clean up and plant the bulbs and grass that Clark had Crim dig out from his taming space. The butterflies floated around examining what they were doing. As they all left, the group felt that they would miss this dungeon the most out of just about every single dungeon.

But with the heat and mist of the violent jungle returning, they changed their focus and demeanor much more.

With Grace having healed a bit, she was able to better able to travel on her own. Ralph tried to insist that she still ride the molten boar or the dragon welp. But she resisted the temptation. Instead, she and the frost finch remained moving together to attempt to acclimate to the changes that they had gained through meditation in the butterfly paradise.

The only thing that seemed to interrupt this was that they had already managed to draw some attention from a few nearby beasts. Specifically, the entire group had been spotted by a beast that had been attracted by the scent of the crystal butterfly cocoon, then hidden away to be able to take down any beast that neared the dungeon.

It was a smart move since it was not able to handle a lord beast at all.

This beast has a strong darkness affinity. It is able to use this to hide in the shadows very well, even during the day. This is why it is known for being able to ambush prey from right in front of it at times.

Its claws and bites carry a weak decaying effect due to the concentrated darkness energies that gather directly on the claws when it attacks. This is due to the natural violent nature that the beast has when hunting. It is often known for dismembering prey to ensure that it has killed them. It is also known to hide its prey in trees for later.
