Chapter 634: A Peaceful Paradise

Chapter 634: A Peaceful Paradise

The sight that everyone had expected to see when the words butterfly paradise had been completely wrong.

While the idea that a small field and forest was already in their heads, they had not truly understood what kind of field and small forest this would be. It was not a place filled with just vibrant flowers. It was not a place with a soft breeze and sunlight.

Instead, this dungeon was small and unique. So unique that every single member of the group questioned whether they would even want to leave a place with beauty like this.

The entire terrain was easier to be called a slice of multiple terrains. The fields were pieces stuck together in an odd circle.

The field had a section with sand, snow, water, mud, and other different forms. One part of the ground was even full of black grass that clearly had darkness energies within it. This extended to the forest section as well.

The butterfly paradise was a place where all the best habitats had been spliced together in a perfect circle with overlapping elemental affinities. A perfect place for multiple type butterfly beasts to grow and breed. The perfect place for them to feed. The perfect place for singular, pure, elemental butterfly species to live.

If any one city were to control this dungeon, they would have a myriad of potential at their fingertips. They could easily use this place to grow unique herbs. Gather unique materials. Even supplement the growth of more unique beasts.

However, the entire group felt an unseen pressure. The forest was hiding the controllers of this unique dungeon. Just because there was a butterfly type beast species, did not at all mean that they were weak.

"First the rules, respect all the beasts that live here. Do not damage the herbs at their roots. They must be able to grow back. If you find anything you don't understand, as Ella, Isa, or myself. I know Maria also has some herb books we can look through." Clark spoke this out loud. The unseen pressure decreased a little after he spoke.

The intelligent butterflies hiding within the first sections were able to grasp the feeling within his words, if not the words themselves. They were the reasons that wherever tamer made their way here, had not taken advantage of this place. Not just the fact that this was within the violent jungle and very hard to get to in general.

The center of the large circular field had a large stone within it. Clark could see the various effects of multiple energies on it. The constantly shifting colors that came over it showed that this was something akin to the heart of the dungeon. The powerful butterflies that moved around it also showed that there were guards to this place.

'Razor wing butterfly- rare

Having pure metal typing, the razor wing butterfly has a body it created out of moldable metals. The metals it feeds on can easily be used to heal its body and are used as weapons. Many beasts would only struggle to get to the same level of metal energy purity that this butterfly contains.

While its small body contains minimal energy, that is how it was able to evolve in to an energy purifying meditation type of growth. Therefore, it can do much more with less, more pure, metal energy. When it eventually perishes, its wings can greatly enhance the strength of the beasts that consume it. Often times, its caterpillars it births as eggs will consume its wing dust…

Rainstorm butterfly- ultra rare

With powerful wind and water typing, this butterfly is said to travel with a rainstorm encompassing it…

Treant butterfly- rare

Due to its unique water, earth, and light typing, this butterfly can mimic treants when it lands on the earth. It will grow a treant body to defend itself or scare predators away…

Skeletal butterfly- legendary

Due to having perished within an area full of undead type energies, instead of rotting in to dust, the butterfly was able to consume the energies and use nearby bones to rebuild its body. Now it is a very hard to kill butterfly that is able to withstand immense physical force. Even when damaged, it can normally repair its body easily. It is weaker to magical attacks with an elemental typings…'

Clark felt that he could spend weeks just standing at this dungeon entrance. Every single butterfly flapping through their, feeding on unique flowers, or resting in the various different elemental areas was amazing.

The system analysis's were many. He wanted to see it all. His curiosity screamed that this was a pace where he could witness beasts that might only ever exist here once in his entire lifetime. "Ella, you could spend your entire life here and still not write down every single type of butterfly here. They are all unique. Just take things slow and focus on herbs that we need."

Hearing Clark, the others snapped out of their own awe. When they glanced at Ella, they noticed that she was visibly shaking. The sheer amount of untapped research potential here had overloaded her. She couldn't find a base to start off with.

Clark could only wish that he had some form of camera here in this world. He had not thought about the technology from his past life much. It never came to him since he was filled with this life. These unique memories. Yet, randomly, in this moment, he wished he had a camera or the knowledge to make one. It brought a soft laugh to his lips.

"I think I am just going to sit and meditate. That might be the best thing to do here." Grace felt that this was a great idea.

Since there were no predators that dared to come in this dungeon because it was home to the oldest, and most powerful butterfly beasts around the jungle, it was a safe place. As long as the balloon bees were not bothered and rules kept, they could all take the chance to relax here.

"How about we set up a small camp? We shouldn't need tents or anything. The caterpillars are all left in the forest areas. This field is just for the flowers and the open space to fly." Ella finally broke out of her hyper focused and stuck state. She chose to focus on everyone's words before she rushed around. It was a wise idea since she knew she would have a lot to write.

"I can rest here and leave my partner off too. It would like the area over there where a lot of metal energy is." Brad rarely took off his possessed armaments. It was his partner and they shared a unique bond. It was part of him and he was part of it. They shared every stop as one.

The possessed armaments vibrated softly. Even with its dependency on being moved by Brad, it did want to remain still for a little while. It barely even went within the taming space that Brad had awoken because it was the first line of defense while Brad and it were out in this violent jungle.

"That's a good idea. I can bring my partner to a spot where it can rest and absorb metal and spiritual energy. This might be the best natural place to meditate ever." Reese's joy mirrored Brads' the two would be able to relax much more than the last weeks.

"Devi, you hear them, find a place to enjoy yourself. If you make any friends, just be nice to them." Devi moved away from the group causing a few butterflies to flutter in fear, but others appeared attracted to him. Especially the skeletal butterflies that could sense his unique energies.

"It looks like Crim and my new partner can find a place to settle too." Ralph pointed out a butterfly with multiple wings and a longer body.

'Draconic butterfly- ultra rare

Having accidentally consumed blood dragon leaves while in a caterpillar form, the dragon typing took root within the caterpillar's body. It blossomed when it was reborn from its cocoon as a butterfly. It boasts a powerful body for its size. Its multiple wings allow it to fly for much longer distances. It can even create fireballs of dragon breath to attack foes…'

The analysis was just another one that went on in amazing detail about the life of this unique butterfly. Clark and Ralph were amazed by it since they had been unsure if everyone's beasts would be able to rest here.

The more that the group called out their beasts, the less pressure was on them. To the hidden powerful butterflies, this was a show of honest faith. Many peaceful areas would have certain rules to follow. Allowing all of their strength to be seen, the oldest butterflies saw that the group did not wish to use this strength to fight or kill here. Just to rest in peace with the others of their own kind.

This was a paradise that was not made for violence.
