Chapter 523: Cruel Attempts
Chapter 523: Cruel Attempts
'Clay golem core- ultra rare
The clay golem core is an exceptionally rare earth type beast. This is because it is a core and not an actual golem. As a spirit beast, this beast can exist, but it can not be created or exist in this independent form in nature.
It naturally has a powerful earth affinity and a devcent water affinity because of its clay golem core existence. However, it is very similar to a smooth rock golem core which is known to be heated and cooled in the deep temperatures of the earth. This often causes confusion.
The clay golem core is ideal for those that wish to use water and earth to defend themselves and attack. Many elves that again this beast as a spirit beast will rise to the top with the water affinity as a solid weapon to cut away the earth of other singular affinity earth elves.
The clay golem core can reformat the earth and water it makes its body up with to be able to attack or even become armor guarding its tamer. It can even shatter itself and slowly be reformed just by the tamer using their own internal energy to rehydrate and meld the core back together. However, this causes a slower growth speed to return to its prime.
The best materials…'
Clark skipped over the best growth plan and materials. He did this simply because he saw a greater issue down. A very large warning about the current state of the clay golem core.
' Due to the opposite fire elemental energy being forced inside with the higher amount of earth energy, the clay golem core is experiencing severe illness and backlash. It is attempting to forcefully change its nature to be able to handle the fire energy.
If this persists and is not healed, the clay golem core will explode stealing all the tamer's energy. This will cause it to forcefully mutate in to a smoldering golem capable of causing volcanic eruptions all around it. It will no longer be considered a beast after the death of its tamer and instead become a monster.
The mental capabilities will be lost in the pain of losing its original body and its tamer's connection. This will cause the smoldering golem to rampage, hence why it is considered a monster in this state.
Such a beast rampaging within a dungeon would be a non issue, however, the dungeon would not be able to contain a monster causing chaos and existence would forcefully throw it out in to the nearest dungeon entrance. One world would face a monster that can rival many other powerful monsters. It will disrupt the flow of natural energies.
And in turn, cause many deaths of beasts, plants, and sentient beings.'
"Little girl. You are an absolute idiot that should not even be considered a tamer." Clark's harsh words growled out at the youngest elf. The others all acted as her guards and took preparations to fight Clark who was gripping the black lighting spear with white knuckles. They could all feel the disdain and rage and he looked at her.
"Crim, go get that poor clay golem core out of the lava pool. It is suffering and it needs healing." The young elf tried to speak and argue, but when she even started to step, Clark glared at her with all his anger. The rolling waves of dragon energy around him made everything feel double the weight. As if there was a storm about to befall the entire area around them.
"Not only did you torture your spirit beast. Your once in a lifetime partner by putting it against its opposing elemental energy, but you could feel its pain. I know you can feel it, but you kept doing it. You didn't even properly research what your beast was and how it could control itself. Did you just leave it isolated for its whole life until now? Really?"
The clear anger that Clark had seeing that this beast had been in pain for so long even though the one being that should have prevented it was causing it killed him inside. For him, his beasts were his strength, part of him. His family. He couldn't fathom how others didn't think this way.
"A smooth rock golem core is useless unless it has the proper fire affinity to become a magma golem. If it doesn't become strong I will be cast out from my-"
"Cast out!? Smooth rock golem core!? Are you an absolute idiot? Can you not sense the energies that your partner needs?!" Clark stomped a foot down causing some stone to crack. Small flecks of fire filled embers began to get carried by a slight breeze around them as Clark forgot to control the dragon energy carefully.
"Your beast is a clay golem core. It needs water and earth to make its body. It needs water and earth energies to be able to grow. Instead, you harmed it by putting it in an opposing elemental energy. You had the perfect chance to raise a beast that could be more powerful than some magma golem. But you didn't give it the proper attention and care.
You are an elf. You live much longer than a human like me, but you didn't care in all that time to look within yourself and your partner!"
Every word carried dragon energy that enhanced the feelings of it. The elves began to understand the actual strength that Clark held. They could sense the power he had that could beat them. The power that they didn't expect to find from someone young like Clark. But power nonetheless. It was a perfect example of how they would need to respect him or else they would suffer the consequences.
Clark had already felt Crim return to his side. Crim carefully placed the clay golem core to the ground without showing any injuries from the lava below on himself. He was a dragon. Naturally, he would not be damaged by just flying through it once.
The clay golem core had cracked and appeared to be on its last legs. Clark carefully kneeled next to it. "I know you will love your partner no matter what. My partner is the same." Devi showed himself shocking the elves who had not even sensed where the second beast Clark had was. Let alone how unique Devi was.
"I have some water crystals and earth crystals here. Take the energies as you need and don't even think about returning them. I know a bit about your kind. You are nice and peaceful. The calm flow of water and the steadiness of earth. But for now, focus on yourself and recover.
I will educate your tamer. She will not harm you like this again."
The drastic change in tone from rage to kindness was too much for the elves to fathom since they were unsure what Clark was going to do next. But when Devi started to look at them and the stark white ghostly body stretched to show a real form, they were lost in the darkness that they saw.
The deep darkness within Devi's eyes and passed his sharp teeth made them feel that death was not anything but endless darkness.
"Leave them alone. They will be learning their lessons the hard way. As the clay golem core heals, only the tamer will suffer the lack of energy and the pain. When it is able to begin forming a proper body, that is when she can make amends for her wrongs." Clark removed an extra journal from his spatial ring as well and began writing.
Basic materials, healing plans, and growth plans all became a common form in this journal. They were simple because Clark didn't want to spend the time on this. But he also felt that things were better than they could have been. He didn't have to destroy a beast here. He had found another way rather than destroying it.
'One task of the dungeon quest has been completed. Congratulations!'
The system had already reacted to what he had done. It was enough for Clark to breathe a little calmer than before. He had not expected Things to go this way but was thankful in a way. He had helped a beast rather than destroy.
"This is a beast plan and healing plan. Follow it perfectly or I will come for you and everyone here today. I know where the elves connect to the human world and I will come one day. But If I come there and discover that you did not help this little one…" Clark trailed off. The guards even shivered. They had not felt the same feeling of death in their entire lives.
Between Devi and Clark, they had the undeniable feeling that death was within their control.
"Now you should leave this dungeon. Do not waste any more time fighting dwarves or trying to get fire materials. You need water and earth materials. If you stay, I will chase you out myself." Clark watched Crim carefully lift the energy crystals and the clay golem before placing them in the arms of the terrified young elf. She was clearly about to lose her stability.
But before the first tears fell, Clark had already left with Crim and Devi. The only thing remaining was an ominous mix of energies.
